This mom and pop restaurant is sooooo good!! The food here is amazing!! Worth the drive! Their pizza is better than anything around Ruidoso or Alto!! They change their specials everyday! The service is great. Nice atmosphere, very cozy, has indoor/outdoor seating. Must give this place a try, you won't regret it!!

Interior: eclectic decor Garage door and crystal chandelier! Love it! Screams, "You're in New Mexico now, baby!

They have earned their great reputation with fast, extremely friendly service and quality products. Music was ON, such a rare pleasure that I'm already giving a 5 star review before the outstanding service recommendations Pizza, in general the house specialty, and hach pepper cheeseburger pizza in particular as unique. Wonderful crust. I'm no expert but seemed like NY style; crunchy, medium thin. Ample toppings on one size, 14". I took half home. Next time I visit I want a Muffalata sandwich. May be off menu, but I'm sure it will be worth trekking over from Ruidoso! No outdoor seating today, so left Charles the Dog in the car. We may need to wait until spring to return!

First our waitress was sooooo sweet. Super sweet. Even the 13 yr old mumbled "good waitress". Huge compliment lol. We ordered the grinder. Good lord almighty that was the best sandwich and my grandson said they were the best hot crispy fries. We shared the sandwich and a pizza pepperoni, mushrooms and jalapeños on kids side and artichoke on mine. This was delicious. I mean awesome good. Ok I'm mad that owning a home in Ruidoso which is about 20 minutes dive of scenic beauty and we don't come here? Well now. That's changing. I went yesterday and already wanna go back. I have nothing bad to say. Nothing. Oh and she gave us free peanut butter cookies for being new!!!! SUPPORT THIS RESTAURANT. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!!!

The staff is easily five stars, they are the nicest people! We came in one evening around 6:30pm while we were staying in the area. They were hopping, totally packed and were telling people to go pizza would be an hour. Since we were dining in, we didn't have to wait that long, but it was still a hefty wait because there was one person serving everyone and three people hustling in the kitchen with a line of tickets. Since we were in vacation mode, we didn't mind the wait at all. One of the owners, Rene, gave us some dessert on the house for our patience- not necessary but so sweet. I really enjoyed the people there and that made the wait worth it. I could see this bothering some people though, so worth mentioning. Their menu changes at least weekly based on their ingredients. They get their veggies locally and you can tell it's fresh, but the amount and availability may make salads a menu item one week and missing the next. There are two boards of menus. The A frame menu boards list regular and specialty pizzas, the big one on the wall lists non pizza items. We were seated by the opposite wall so I had a difficult time reading the chalk and had to try and get much closer without infringing on anyone else's dinner. #gettingold Drinks consist of canned soda and bottles of beer. They have the beers lined up above the order window and if they are out, they turn the label to the wall. I would love either fountain drinks and teas or cheaper prices on these, but not a deal breaker by any means. In a rare moment of food cooperation, my husband and I shared the food in the interest of eating (sooo hungry). We ordered the turkey bacon cheese sandwich and fries for $14 and then a pepperoni pizza $11 to take to go. The offered dessert was a Belgium brownie with chocolate ice cream. The sandwich was so much more than a sandwich. They don't stiff you with prepackaged sliced turkey and wilted lettuce, it was a huge hoagie stuffed with real carved turkey, piled with cheese, garnished with really fresh veggies- it was really good! The fries were perfect! Thin and crispy like McDonald's fries, these were extra crispy and well seasoned. It was a great meal AND it filled us both up! The price was more than fair for the portion and quality of the ingredients. The pizza was pretty good, my husband really liked it. Based on their ingredients list, I think we should have gotten more adventurous because it feels like this place is more about the quality of their toppings. The price seemed to be the going rate for the size. The brownie and ice cream were decadent and a lovely treat. My husband, the one lacking a sweet tooth, was really impressed and kept saying how good it was. It really was. We left full and fully satisfied- we will definitely return on a future trip to the area! Check them out!

More than worth the drive from Ruidoso! This was the best pizza my husband and I have EVER eaten! The waitress was so sweet the entire time. The cook did an excellent job!! We will be back when we are in the area again!

P.C. Veggie pizza is excellent!!! Wish Las Vegas NV was in their delivery area.

Whenever you're in the area, you should make a point of eating here. Truly best pizza and pork chops, rosemary potatoes and seafood combo.

Nothing fancy but newer and clean set back from the road with a nice outdoor patio.

Mabel B'z Diner - Carne asada tacos, pretty expensive at 15 for this plate

This little diner in the middle of nowhere has some great food!…read more On the way to Roswell from Albuquerque we needed a place to stop for lunch after a quick hike through Valley of Fires. We pulled up and were able to get a table for the 5 of us after waiting for 10 minutes. I ordered a burger with green chile and my wife ordered the Cheese Enchiladas. The kids got items from the kids menu... The burger was delicious and the green chilies packed a little heat. My wife said her enchiladas were really good. The boys ate their corn dog and beef taco. My Mother-in-law got a BLT and she enjoyed it as it was stacked with bacon. You don't have to go out of the way for this place, but if you come across it, you should definitely stop for a meal!

This diner was near the gas station we filled up at and all the other restaurants nearby were all closed permanently. It was staffed by three generations of woman and I loved mother, grandmother, and daughter cooking together. It's small but hospitable inside and we felt immediately welcome and comfortable. Overall the food was OK but it was pricey for what we got. Sour cream also came in a squeeze bag which I haven't seen before. Beef quesadilla: ground beef, cheese, in a store bought quesadilla. Good because it wasn't overly large but tasted like something we could have made at home. Carne asada tacos: $15 so pretty pricey at $5 each. Cooked over a stove so didn't have a nice grilled taste. Topped with lettuce, tomato, and cheese so more fusion/american style but after I did enjoy not having onion breath.
