Started with two keys to my Chevy Volt and lost one a few years back but didn't make a big deal since I had the extra set. Unfortunately the day came where I lost the spare. Called Joe and he was able to swing by same day. Maybe 10 minutes passed when he got to my house, and wouldn't you know it...I found the original key I let him know and fortunately he hadn't programmed a key yet. I cancelled the order but obviously I still needed to pay a service call fee, which I completely understand. I needed a new chip key and fob for a 2011 Acura RDX, which is notoriously difficult to program. Ace Hardware quoted me $240 and it was going to take a week for the fob to come in, but Cheap Auto Key did it for half the price and I didn't have to wait a week. He worked hard figuring out all the programming issues with getting the fob to sync correctly, but, in the end, everything came out great. And the new fob seems stronger than the original so I think it will last longer. I highly recommend Cheap Auto Key. read more

I lost the key fob to my car and it was the only one I had. I contacted Joe on a Sunday and surprisingly he was able to make it out that. Was done in less than 20 min and had the best prices in the area. Had the key for a few weeks and it's working flawlessly. My car also has this little feature that when you walk up to it, the lights under the mirrors light up the floor and the interior lights turn on. Personally I could care less if that didn't work plus I forgot it even did that so I probably wouldn't have noticed a difference. I took my car to the dealership to get a spare key and they said they couldn't do it and that I needed a whole new ignition for them to make me a spare key and a fob and that would cost an additional $1,200.
