The guys that moved Stephanie were great, however the office is dishonest. We timed them very carefully and even with 10 minutes standing around eating popsicles that we gave them they were done in 3 5 hours. They tried to round up to 4 hours (extra $75) and when Steph argued they tried to say they were charging for time used to load the junk they were hauling away. Junk? The guys wanted the stuff! There was a 50" Panasonic Viera TV, 4 lawn chairs, an outdoor construction light, some shelves, and a fireplace heater. All good stuff just nowhere to put it. While Steph was arguing they were made to put all the stuff on the driveway. The guys ended up getting screwed because Steph paid what they wanted and not $1 more for a tip, and they lost their stuff. I will never call this company. read more

Their ad states "Cheap Dependable Movers will love too move you into your new home or apartment for a low rate of only $75.00 hour and there are no hidden fee's" 3.5 hours cost me $749....cash only btw...so you guys decide if there are hidden fees. Reported to the he BBB and the IRS for tax fraud. Also, the movers had picked out a bunch of items they wanted to keep from our junk pile at the old house...their "boss" Maryanne made them dump it all on our driveway at the new house before leaving. I paid for 3 professional movers and I got 3 16 year old kids. There were always at least 1-2 standing around. They under the direction of the boss had no idea how to pack a moving truck. The truck was only half full height wise and I ended up having to make 2 trips with my neighbors trailer. This was for a 1 bedroom house !! The legs were broken off 2 different pieces of my bedroom set. Over a week and no repairman or phone call. I have reported to the BBB. They also only take cash, so as one of the other reviewers stated she reported to the IRS. I would run from using these people again. You are better off paying a little more and getting real movers read more

Will definitely use again. We were amazed at their "Tetris" skills!!! They were also very careful with everything. Very professional! And I will admit I was skeptical! They blew my expectations out of the water and I am a tough cookie when it comes to service!! These guys knew what they were doing!! Update: we used them to move into our home. Another great experience. Richard and his crew really get the job done. We had to reschedule twice due to closing issues and although they weren't happy they worked with us. We did incur a $100 fee for changing our date. But rightfully so considering they probably turned away business. 6 hours, 4 movers, 3 locations, 2 pods and 1 moving truck = $1200. I do think they over charged us; per their website it should have been less and seems like we were charged $200 or more for changing the date. So I would request a breakdown, but since last time it was correct I didn't even question this time. read more

I have placed two reviews on their website before today and they have both been removed. This is how the website only has positive reviews. It is very deceiving to new and potential customers! I hired them for a move in May of 2015. The men who moved my furniture were nice, respectful, and even early to the appointed time. No issues until I went to put my bed together! The headboard had a corner chunk chipped off and there were scratches and dents along the top of it. Also, a piece that connects the posts had come off and unable to screw in original holes. The side rail has a 3-4 inch scratch on it also. When I called the owner to discuss the situation he was rude and disrespectful to me. He even accused me of damaging my own furniture! He said he would talk to the guys who moved me and would get back to me. Guess what???? He never has despite the fact that I have attempted to contact him. I would not recommend this company based on the lack of customer service and they aren't so dependable after all. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. I scheduled my move 3 weeks in advance for this morning and they didn't show up. When I called to check on a truck's arrival I was told by the owner that she called me two times the day before, only leaving a voicemail once, a half hour before they closed. I never received those calls nor that voicemail. I offered to show her my call logs, even printed straight from my carrier to show that a call never came through from their number. The owner's defense was that she told me she would call the day before to confirm the appointment. Well regardless of you telling me that when I scheduled, YOU DIDN'T CALL ME but those alleged calls going unanswered is your basis for cancelling my appointment. Now I am stuck on a Friday needing to move by Sunday. I'm a single mom with physical injuries that prevent me from being able to move myself. If I could save the money I would. I chose them because someone referred me to them as the most inexpensive in the area. Well they can keep the cheap in their name, but should remove the dependable. The owner apparently thinks she can do no wrong as she said the reason she doesn't trust others to make the calls is because other people in the past have called "claiming the same thing" Well guess what, you shouldn't trust yourself either because you didn't call me yesterday, either time. I explained to her that I was in an incredibly tough situation now, that I was emotional and upset because of it but she said I was just yelling, which I explained I wasn't. She then started yelling at me saying I was blaming her when I need to blame myself - because I didn't get the phone calls that she never made. She would not agree to show me her call logs, despite my offer of showing mine. She then hung up on me. I have worked in customer service for 15 years. My family has owned small businesses and restaurants for my entire life. I have never left a negative review for a company. You do not behave the way this owner behaved. Now I will be paying more then double to be moved on the weekend when I wanted to be moved during the week, I have paid extra money to get in my new apartment early, I have paid to rent a small uhaul van so I can move as much as I am able to save money since it's by the hour - and now I have wasted money on extra time for that truck. I move slowly because of my physical injuries/limitations and I've just lost 24 hours which is more like 72 hours to me, not to mention the HUNDREDS of DOLLARS because this woman didn't do her job but blames me. Do Not Use this Company. She doesn't deserve to be in business. read more

I would give zero if l could. Whats worst...having a company stand you up or call you and hang up? Not sure who is running this place now. We used them before and had no complaints. This time they set up a day for us ...never called or showed up. We took time off and my move was delayed. By far the worst experience I've had. Maybe some people will have a better experience. They use cash so its no paper trail l guess but l will never recommend them to anyone. read more

I've used these guys twice. The first time I asked them to move a giant mirror. It was almost as large as a queen-size bed. They moved it and it was never damaged. The second time I asked them to move everything from a 3-bedroom to a storage unit. At first when I looked at the storage unit I was a little concerned because I was worried that it would be too small. They packed it tight and right. I was able to get to everything in the storage unit. They packed everything up quickly and they didn't dawdle. I would recommend this company to everyone. My sister recently used them again and they did a great job with her belongings. They quoted prices that were less than every other mover around. Be sure to tip the movers because it is well deserved. I recommend these guys to everyone. read more

Too bad I could only rate a 1 star should be no stars, I booked with cheap Dependable for 2 drivers two hours 4 days before my move for 8:00am, no one ever showed, I called several times and was told they where checking to see what happened, they never responded to me.
