Excellent hire! We have moved a lot due to work and this move was a local move. Jeff's communicated well. They were on time, professional and very friendly. As far as cost, they were very reasonable! I saw all the 5 star ratings and knew this was the movers for me. They were prompt. Very kind very polite very professional. I lived in an apartment on the second floor in Portage. They moved me into a house in Valparaiso. I had some large pieces of furniture too. They took the beds apart and put them back together when we got to the house. They even brought wardrobes. These were large boxes that had a rack so I could put my clothes on hangers in and they moved those too. Each held 2 and a half feet of clothes. I used 4. Moving nearly 2,000 miles is not only a Herculean task, but could be fraught with high costs, over charges and damaged furniture. Thankfully we made the right decision by hiring Jeff's Movers for our move from NW IN to NW AZ. First, the moved our belongings including boxes (we packed ourselves), 6 rooms of furniture, husband's workshop (large tools), husband's ultralight airplane wings and nearly 700 board feet of wild cherry in approximately 4 hours. All employees were courteous and respectful. Not only was Jeff's Movers priced competitively when compared to other national franchise movers, their service was outstanding. We had our furniture when promised and without any additional charges. The price quoted was the price charged. Mike who did the initial quotation and made the delivery to AZ is truly an exceptional professional. He was very careful with all of our belongings and communicated consistently as to when to expect delivery. The office also communicated as well keeping us informed during the time from picking up our possessions to the delivery of possessions. Husband & I used Jeff Movers before they were great! So when I needed to relocate after passing of my husband, I called them. I needed storage for a short time. When they moved my storage items into my apartment, I notice they had repackaged all my boxes. With out notification. After unpacking I was missing many items & clothes that were packed in there containers. I called several times never got suitable explanation, just that men who moved my things were no longer working for the company. Don't recommend them for storage they should be bonded! I can't believe anybody gave this business 5 stars! This has been the worst moving experience of our lives! No one on this team was professional! A lot of chit chat taking breaks, asking for water. We're moving in who has refreshments. One guy moved couch pillows one at a time. I could have done that myself. Broke a glass shelf In our mini fridge and never told us. Removed wheels from an antique dresser and didn't put them back on. Ripped a huge hole in the rug at the former home moving a desk and laughed about it. When moving an entertainment center it falloff the dolly and they laughed about that, tool cases were marked which end was up and they placed them upside down, when I asked to have two dresser pushed together I was told that was too much furniture on one wall I said I liked them that way and I'm the customer and the customer is always right. He did agree and proceeded to put them on the same wall 3 feet apart. Not what I asked for and this is the dresser that had the wheels removed. One of the workshop lights was broken. Furniture was just dumped in a room without asking where it should be put. As it got later in the day they obviously just wanted to leave so finally brought in the garment boxes that we were supposed to empty immediately so they could call it a day. We are seniors and hire movers so we don't have to do the heavy lifting but we had to do plenty. And a lot of the language and complaining is not what a customer wants to hear. Plus we had to dispose of all their used drinks and pop cans they left everywhere despite a large garbage can near their moving trucks!! Mike and Chad were AWESOME! I can't say enough about how pleased I am with everything! I hired Jeff's Movers for furniture pick from Bob's Furniture. Reasonably priced and QUICK! They waisted no time at all picking up, dropping off, and assembling the beds (which they were gracious enough to do) Mike and Chad even informed me of scratches and rips that Bob's furniture did not. I cannot rave enough about this moving company. There are a special group of the most professional and polite guys that showed up to make a move of my home that left me absolutely satisfied with their work. I didn't realize there were that many moving blankets in northwest Indiana. There were prompt, careful and very expeditious. I hate aging this but if I ever move again it would be with this company. Absolutely outstanding company. I would put them in front of 2 men and a truck any day of the year, pricing and everything. I just used Jeff's movers yesterday to move from house to house. They were the most reasonable price wise I could find around and I called quite a few places. The two guys that came pretty much power lifted everything I had and my living room furniture is very heavy. I also had them move 2 bedroom sets and a washer and dryer plus other miscellaneous items. They were very professional and worked fast even though they were paid by the hour. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for movers! read more

I just canceled my Sept 15 date for them to move some furniture. Only to find out I can not get my $50 deposit refunded. Becky said she told me it is not refundable. I asked her if she has a recording she said no she always tells customers. SO just FYI 26 days prior to their services her word against mine! Hope they enjoy lunch on me!! I moved about 3 miles away from my current house. We picked Jeff Movers because of their reasonable estimate. They estimated 2-3 hours and would send 3 movers. The movers were only moving furniture (no boxes or decor). My husband even had everything taken apart and we carried some of the furniture to the truck ourselves. It ended up taking the movers 6 hours! This was double the estimation and resulted in a MUCH bigger payment than we ever expected. The movers took numerous smoke breaks, inside the truck, and stood around a lot talking. They broke the leg off my daughters bookshelf and destroyed her dresser. I understand accidents happen, but, we caught the movers talking about it and trying to cover it up so we would not know. I tried communicating this to the company on Monday using the same email address that they had communicated to me previously numerous times. 4 days letter and I never heard anything back :-( Just very disappointed at the lack of caring. read more

I used this facility for storage and what a nightmare! Beware of all the HIDDEN FEES! When I called to reserve a storage unit, I was advised that I could enter my unit at ANY time to retrieve items! FALSE, and Lie after Lie from Steve! Items can be picked up by appointment only and will cost you $35 service fee, $35 handing fee and $50 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours for a grand total of at least $170 just to access your unit! You have to make an appointment to enter the facility and if the time slots are booked, guess what you are NOT allowed to obtain your items from storage. You are on Steve's schedule and customers are not important. When I expressed any sort of disappointment, I was yelled at by Steve. I have never been treated so poorly by a business. Steve's behavior is offensive and insulting. Will never do business again. Very unprofessional. read more
