Blankets were a little thin and lacking for a cold night. I was hesitant to turn on the heater because it looked really dusty and would have aggravated my allergies. Walls are thin - we could hear our upstairs neighbors quite loudly. Breakfast was fine. Decent selection of eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruit and yogurt. I was hoping for some southern options like the fried catfish in other photos but they didn't have it when we were there. The dining room is nice and felt elevated with real plates and silverware. There is also a bar in the original carriage house. Overall it's a unique place to stay. The historic mansion is nicely decorated with plenty of charm. I would consider staying here again the next time I'm in the area.

So irritating. Plus there was a bug in the bathroom.

Room 2.5/5. - The room was clean and spacious. The lighting was ok and there was ample plugs with usb slots. The floor creaks above and below you. The shower definitely creaked and water pressure was sub par. The pillows I think were awful. Really wish I brought my own since I like a firm pillow. The thing that really annoyed me the most was the a/c unit. I appreciate that it was there and working but when it reached its desired temperature, it kept clicking on and off and was so loud I woke a few times during the first night. I got some ear plugs and that helped a lot. Overall an ok experience.
