So, I've got to give a shout-out to Cheaper Cigarettes in Arcata because they've got a dude named Ali at the front desk, and he's basically the reason I'm even bothering to write this. Ali just got back after being away for a couple of years, and honestly, the place just hits different now that he's here again. He's one of those super chill, funny, and just all-around good guys who makes the whole vibe of the shop better. He's professional but not in a stiff way--like, you can actually have a laugh with him. And yeah, he's just really respectful and easy to do business with. Basically, I only bother going to that smoke shop now because Ali's back in action. So, if you're in Arcata and you want a good experience, just go say hi to Ali. The store is really great too!. Go to this shop to get counterfeit vapes and juice. I bought a vape and juice from them a few months ago and the vape wouldn't authenticate as being legitimate . the juice was so harsh that I threw it away after 2 puffs. I stupidly went in a few months later and got another vape and also would not verify as being authentic. I went in to the shop to ask for a refund and informed them that they are selling counterfeit products ...even showed them how it fails authentication and the worker defaulted to the owner , at which point I just left. They have 0 regard for the quality and safety of the products that they sell.... Seriously, do not give these people your money. They need to be reported to the Better Business Bureau. UPDATE: UPDATE: I just went into the store to give them one more chance to stop selling counterfeit products before I report them to the Better Business Bureau and the manufacturer of the products themselves, I asked to speak to the owner and the employee said that he wasn't there and he wouldn't let me know when he would be there, I noticed that he was on the phone while I was talking to him and he was talking shit About me in a different language to someone who I assumed was the manager/owner. I asked to speak to the owner on the employees phone and he surprisingly handed it to me. I reiterated everything to him and he was also completely unhelpful. I told him that I was going to report him to the Better Business Bureau...he really wanted to know my name. I told him my name is irrelevant at which point the employee asked for his phone back so I gave it back to him and then he started cursing at me telling me to quote get the f*** out and I told him that I gladly will. I've purchased glass and other items from here a number of times and am pleasantly surprised by the demeanor of the owner. They have glass for all price ranges, and I've gotten some wonderful pieces for very fair prices. That being said I got the pieces knowing that they were cheap and likely made in China. Some of it will not be the highest quality glass but what do you expect from a place that has the word cheap in their name? My friend and I bought a $200 bong with a chip on it. I have been storing my bong in my room and been taking very good it, making it impossible that the the piece chipped after purchase. When I talked to the cashier, they were rude and essentially called me a liar, telling me to return with the person who purchased it. Needless to say, I will be doing just that tomorrow. I am NEVER giving them my business again. Their employee, Abdul, was so rude to me the other night that I'm never going back. I had already had him set 2 items aside that I was going to purchase. I was trying to decide on my 3rd item when Abdul told me that he wasn't going to show me anything else. He had NO other customers so it's not like I was holding him up. PLUS. I had already decided on merchandise that added up to over $50.00. I haven't been tested so rudely in tears.
