Non-Show Review. Next door to We All Scream in DTV. Thursday -Saturday $25 8pm Show. Look for Alexandria!! Super friendly. Didn't see a show, but stumbled in as they were connected to We All Scream? Reminds me of LA's Weho + Coyote Ugly (bar dancing) + Jubilee Showgirls. Fun bar to dance at. Comfortable booth seats. Looking forward to experiencing a show and usual after show bar fun!

Just saw Miss Behave's Mavericks located inside Cheapshot and it was amazing. First the staff is great. Looks like only 4 people working from what I saw but they worked perfectly in synch taking orders and busting out drinks. I didn't even pay attention to prices and when I seen how much it was for my 4 drinks I was shocked at just how good the prices were. The venue is small and at first you kinda feel like like it's to cramped but once the show starts you forget about it all. With the all the laughs, clapping, money being thrown (brings singles for tips) and amazing performances it all perfectly blends together. Doors open at 7:30 for the 8:00 show we got there about 7:10 and we're able to get almost front row seats. Again the venue is small and if you're late you will be standing in the back so do yourself and favor and come early. The season is going to end soon and I hope they keep the cheap ticket price. Even if they don't I would come again as it seems like they switch up acts very often and they deserve all the recognition they have been getting. I just see this show getting bigger and bigger and if they keep it inside Cheapshot it's going to be one of the hardest shows to get into. The owners have done an amazing job at this venue, and I have also checked out a few other of their other business they own and they were also very fun. They are doing great things in Fremont East.

Last Thu I attended the Mavericks show at Cheapshot on Fremont Street. Everyone around me had seen it before; and now they'd brought a friend. "Every show is rather original." Frankly, I don't think Miss Behave knows what it means to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results, as she is already rather crazy - and thus Fremont Street welcomes her. If I could give you two compelling reasons to go and go now: for some $25 you'll get something up close and intimate that goes for 4x that elsewhere. Not enough good reason? -- soon the show closes out til next Spring. Go...go now...laugh your ass off...regret nothing except not going back again and again. Oh, plan to stay after, as the party has only just begun.

This Variety Show can't be missed!! Whether you are visiting Las Vegas or local you need to be at cheap shot. This show is intimate and filled with amazing talent. And I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Grab your friends and meet them downtown for Mavericks. You won't regret it.

This is what you come to Vegas for. Cheapshot is the epitome of vaudeville entertainment. I didn't research the show before hand so I had no idea what I was getting into, but I left wanting more! The acts are brilliantly beautiful, sexy, hilarious and immersive. The venue is gorgeous and intimate. Absolutely a must do in Vegas and for an amazingly reasonable price. Side note- pictures and videos are welcomed and encouraged. Also bring cash. Not because they don't accept card, but you will want to tip and show them some love by literally throwing money at them.. (It's a thing)

5 of us went to the Maverick's show for the first time and had a blast. Ticket prices are affordable and the showroom is the perfect intimate setting for a variety show with audience participation strongly encouraged. We got there right when the doors opened and were seated quickly. The bartenders pour strong and reasonably priced drinks. All the acts were fantastic and Miss Behave is a fabulous master of ceremonies! You'll definitely want to bring dollar bills to throw at the performers. We'll absolutely be returning for future shows to check out new acts. So fun!

Its the first time ive seen it since the remodel. I couldnt believe that it used to be Dont Tell Mama. CornerBar Management did a insane job creating this venue. The whole place has a great vibe, calming atmosphere, and the bar staff was the best part. My friend and i popped in to visit the bartenders Jenny and Issac! They're the best!!!!

You can pay $25 to park your car on the strip, or come see this head spinningly dazzling, show of shows, giving serious nods to vaudeville, variety, burlesque, circus, n' more. All presented with a twist that adds a level of surprise, freshness, sophistication, bawdiness and hilarity. The room constantly has a smokey hue, and yet is a smoke free room. That faux smoke adds an additional smokey underground speakeasy vibe without the tobacco reek. We'll played Cheapshot. Plunking down 25-bucks here is your best bet in Las Vegas. This venue is destined to be the most significant addition to Fremont East in years.

It's a collection of jaw-dropping circus acts, comedy, and "how is this even happening right now?" moments stitched together with a very loose thread. The performers are insanely talented, and the energy in the room makes it feel like you're part of the show even when you're just sitting there trying to process what you just saw. Definitely not your typical Vegas production - but that's exactly why it works! Go in blind, lean into it, and just let it be weird.

I've seen this show twice, once opening night and then again in October 2023. I was in the first row stage left the first time, and the second row dead center the second time. The first time my view was blocked by a woman with very curly, poofy hair. The second time my view was blocked by everyone seated at the cocktail tables. The Duomo is a horrible venue because the seats are neither staggered nor graduated like stadium seating. The stage isn't high enough above the seating to give everyone a good view. I've seen X Country at Harrah's, Fantasy at Luxor, and Red Velvet Burlesque at Notoriety downtown - all of them have different seating and stage configurations for this sort of show, but you can actually see the performers. This show needs a different venue. They have Julia Flypole doing arial hoop work but it's like a 7 or 8 foot ceiling from the stage to the top. She also performs in Red Velvet Burlesque and her routine is from a silk that is easily two stories long. It's just not the same effect doing acrobatics and arial pole in such a short room. The show is a mix of singing and burlesque dancing set to rock-esque type music. There is no nudity in this show. Everyone has pasties on in addition to bra tops, unlike other showgirl burlesque shows. While it's obviously 18+ because it's burlesque, nothing is too risque, except the bathtub dance is a bit over the top raunchy for my taste. The dancing is good. The costuming is good. The singer actually has a good voice. The only problem is the venue is garbage and not a good fit for this show. There is limited audience participation in this show. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop wondering how he was doing any of it. Mat Franco is probably best known for winning Season 9 of America's Got Talent and now performs his residency, Magic Reinvented Nightly, at The LINQ in Las Vegas. I don't want to say too much because part of the fun is experiencing it for yourself. What I loved most was how much he interacted with the audience. It didn't feel like he was just performing at the crowd. He involved people throughout the show and made the entire room feel part of the experience. Every time I thought I had something figured out, another trick would happen and completely change my mind. Seeing magic on TV is one thing, but seeing it happen right in front of you is mind-blowing. If you've ever been curious about magic or wanted to see a Vegas show that's different from the typical concerts and productions, I would definitely recommend this one. I left amazed and still thinking about some of the tricks afterward.

As MOH, I planned the party and spent a lottt of time going through reviews on Yelp and Reddit bc there was a lot of pressure to find the best option and decide for the group. Many reviews of the bigger shows said the performers had been doing it for so long that they looked like they were just going through the motions.. that the acts were unimpressive.. that the theater was so big you could only see the tricks on a screen, or that it was overpriced. After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

We were seated up on the stage which I don't necessarily think were the best seats in the end but it was great to be up there with the action around us. We opted for the $70 tickets that were in the first level, back area towards the bar (there is a semi-obstructed view because of the lower ceiling, but I felt like it was worth the money saved because you really only miss like when the performers are high up in the air). It was also kind of an emptier show, so we got moved from the very back to the FRONT of the back area since the seats were empty. Which worked out for me because as an audience member I typically do not like being touched or interacted with by the performers. (pretty much a guarantee if you buy one of the seats in that inner circle area, you will 100% be touched, get bread thrown at you, or have to answer questions lol). Pros: - Very easy to get tickets the day of, but make sure you check various sites because they're randomly cheaper on some websites than others. - Honestly, a pretty entertaining variety show! It's different from Cirque shows because most of the acts are either pairs or individuals, and there's a LOT of variety. There's acrobatics, singing, dancing (tap, clog), some magic from the nuns, what I can only describe as breakdancing with a gigantic ring, comedy, etc. So it's not very repetitive and you see a lot of variation in skill and talent. Since you're also so close, you can literally see the performers flexing their abs and it's honestly a miraculous display of human skill and flexibility. Even though there's sexual innuendos and undertones, I honestly didn't feel that uncomfortable because the talent is very impressive. just packaged in a raunchy show haha. I had a good time and laughed a lot. - I could not stop laughing at the constant bread throwing. - Pretty decent drinks at the bar. I got a $12 matcha mocktail called the discos cowboy and it was actually DELICIOUS and so cute. - The entrance area was easy to find and all the staff we interacted with were pretty nice. - Very lively show and plot, again hats off to the acrobats and skill performers. Cons: - When you first go in and doors open, there's a "waiting" area with a bar that you have to wait in until the staff let you into the main seating area. This area was EXTREMELY stuffy and hot, with very little air circulation, and bodies packed pretty close to each other while waiting to get drinks at the bar or just waiting for the show. I really didn't like the 15 mins we waited in this area and would have just preferred to wait in the casino hallway outside the venue. - The comedy, while raunchy and entertaining, was a little too cheesy for me at times. Especially the jokes from the matriarch Irish lady who acts as the brothel owner - I felt like those jokes were very dad-ish and way too cheesy. - I personally really dislike crowd participation or being touched without warning so this part wasn't for me LOL. But I'm grateful we sat in the back. If you are super into this sort of thing, you will love it and you should sit in the front pew area or in the main circle area. Definitely don't bring your kids lol. I think I would be open to coming back and seeing a different variety of actors, since they say they change it up sometimes. Also the show is early enough in the evening (we went to the 9:30pm showing) where you could totally still go out to the club after. I don't regret this experience haha.

I have seen this show 8 times so far - every time I have guests, I take them to see it, and I enjoy…read moreit all over again as I have never seen it! It is truly a WOW! There is nothing in town that compares to it, when it comes to value and level of performance, it is an incredible production where the theatre is not too big, but the stage is semicircular with 3D background on large screen, and the projections are so well incorporated into acts, so it gives the impression that it is one large theatre. I love the closeness to the performers, everything happening right in front of your very eyes... It is so much fun for children and adults! Performers are so adorable, acts changing quickly, there is even water on the stage! What an incredible production of Titanic story; gives me chills every time I see it! This one show represents the good old Vegas variety show and brings some nostalgia ... Do not miss it!

Wow? Yes. Vegas? Naturally. Spectacular? Often enough…read more WOW - The Vegas Spectacular is a variety show that has been anchoring the Rio Showroom theater for almost a decade. I've been a Rio Rewards member recently, and their 2nd tier and above grant you free annual show tickets. I decided this year to try WOW. You probably wanna save the incentive until the day-of, printing it out from the kiosk then directly taking it to the box office. Then you can pick your seats. The tier of seating available to me was the same as the Pepto-Bismol colored section on the chart visible online when you try to make a purchase. These appear to have a retail value of $86.32 each w/ fees. You can get in pretty easily with your tickets, but you can't bring all that much stuff in. They do have a table where you can leave stuff and pick it up afterward though. They also seem to compensate for disallowing water bottles by setting up free cups of ice water at the bar inside the venue for anyone to take. The show is not Cirque-level, but it's got quite a few exciting acts dispersed over the 1.5-ish hours. And when they set up shop on the protruding circle of the stage, it feels really, really close to the seats. For specific highlights, Silvia Silvia, the crossbow-wielding grandma, does feel world-class. So do most if not all of the acrobats. The main character / "clown" does a solid enough job with interstitials and comic relief overall. Some of the comic stuff and juggling is not all that exciting, and the dancing feels a little tame and sometimes totally unnecessary (not even as a delaying tactic). It'd be nice if they could add a little more intensity in the middle third (before Silvia Silvia), as well as more examples of showing off words and graphics in the falling water. Production-wise, they could certainly make improvements. I'll excuse the old screens/videos, but they don't seem to have heard of surround sound. Instead, the speakers blast at you from one direction, mainly into my right ear from where I was sitting. If they improve the sound, and maybe fade some of the music instead of abruptly halting them before moving to the next track, the show would feel more polished and maybe only half a tier behind the big shows rather than a whole level. Overall, WOW is a good but not great show, better at least than tired old Blue Man Group and maybe some really random stuff at the cheapest Strip properties. You could probably do quite better if spending actual cash, but Rio Rewards regulars should have this show on their checklist.
