We'd give it more than 5 stars if it was an option. Great soundtrack and typical Cirque Du Soleil surprises abound! Storyline was a little lame, but that didn't take away from all of the talent. We sat about 6 rows from the front. Could have sat further back and would still be great seating.
Finally got the chance to go see Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil at Mandalay Bay, and overall it was a really fun Vegas show..... especially if you're a Michael Jackson fan. The production value is exactly what you'd expect from Cirque: incredible lighting, visuals, and special effects. The whole theater feels immersive, and there's always something happening on stage or above the audience. The dancers are insanely talented and they do a great job recreating some of Michael Jackson's iconic moves like the Smooth Criminal lean and other classic choreography. Hearing hits like Billie Jean, Beat It, and Thriller with the energy of a live performance really makes the show feel like a tribute to MJ's legacy. One thing to know going in is that this show leans more toward dance and music than traditional Cirque acrobatics. There are still aerial acts and stunts, but it feels more like a high-energy concert combined with Cirque visuals rather than a full circus-style show. Overall though, it's a visually impressive show with great choreography, great music, and a lot of nostalgic MJ moments. If you love Michael Jackson's music or want a high-energy Vegas production, it's definitely worth seeing.
It was a great show. I am not a big fan of Micheal Jackson but I enjoyed the show. The opening was very nice with drones. I liked thrillers parts. Everyone dance like the music video. I didn't much understand the story line. I wish that was more clear. I recommend this show.
What an amazing display of talent and tribute. Always down for some Michael! Music selections and artistic interpretation of each song is so unique and an enjoyable production. Located inside Mandalay bay hotel. Entrance to theater is right where the W hotel and mandalay connect. Lovely theater I've seen this show a few times and tried several seating locations. All with great views from every section. Staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. Performers are so talented and bring the music to life. Pre order tickets online or at the box office check hours of operation. Get there a little early to have your group photo session. Great memories to capture with option to purchase photo booklet of two poses. Pick up after the show at the tables just outside the entrance. It'll be where the crowd is gathering. Restrooms are also located just outside the theater entrance. From the parking garage I would maybe enter through the W hotel and just follow it towards the mandalay connection. Pass the coffee shop make a right. Follow the long hallway on the right you'll see restaurant seating, it'll be right after the sky fall lounge reception & elevators.
Some of my family went to see the show a couple of years ago and I had always wanted to see it because they raved about it. Surprisingly enough, this was a different show than back in 2021; however, we thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a good mixture of acrobatic acts, dancing and videos, to really pay tribute to the iconic Michael Jackson!!! They have a really nice gift shop and we purchased a few items. They also have nice posters and outfits to take pictures and view. The only thing I would recommend is to probably sit around row 10 so you can have a good view of the entire stage, the ceiling and the sides because there is stuff happening everywhere!! I can't wait to go back in a couple of years to see another new version of this show!!
I just cannot adequately express what a fantastic experience Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soliel was and I want to say the trip to see it is 100% worth it! I only try to write meaningful and high quality reviews, so let's see if I can dig deep. I loved the way the show first captured the attention of the audience without going straight into a big bang with the appearance of actors flashing their cameras like paparazzi, as if some big deal is coming by. It was cute and it was indicative of the show, how things kept slowly ramping up and up until an explosion of a finale! The show also became more and more engaging as it went by, with performers both on the air above us and along the aisles! Definitely stay in your seats for this show and keep your unruly children out of the aisle! Also huge props for a diverse cast, not something I would expect in Nevada, and even bigger props for using someone who was clearly disabled, but highly talented! It's not a sight I'll forget anytime soon and just shows you that anyone can shine and have their moment if they work hard and got the talent!

They played all of his biggest hits and my favorite songs including Billie Jean, smooth criminal, thriller, and beat it. They also played some of this more human interest songs like man in the mirror and they don't care about us. Overall, thought the song transitions were smooth and they had a good variety of dancing and acrobatic acts. One critique I have is that some of the sounds/music were way too loud. I've never had to cover my ears but at some points during the show I had to (please change this). It's a highly entertaining 90 minute show with no intermission (starts and ends on time). Located inside Mandalay Bay and they have a gift shop with merch for purchase before/after the show.
Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil is a high energy show that packs a lot of spectacle into every minute. The music is of course iconic, and it's fun to see Cirque du Soleil's interpretation of Michael Jackson's artistry brought to life through acrobatics, dance, and elaborate staging. There is so much happening at once that it almost feels like the theater itself becomes part of the show, with action unfolding above, on the sides, and across the stage. I was seated very close to the front and honestly found myself wishing I had been a bit farther back to take it all in, because there were moments where I felt like I was missing part of the picture. Even so, it was an entertaining experience and a great way to spend an evening in Las Vegas, especially if you already love Michael Jackson's music.

While it still features classic Cirque du Soleil elements, this show feels more like an energetic, celebratory dance party. The performers are incredibly talented and truly bring Michael's music to life. One cast member (Jean Sok per Google) performs with only one leg, yet he shines just as brightly as everyone else on stage. It was truly inspiring. We were able to snag last-minute tickets online for a Thursday 6:30 p.m. show. I felt a little sad when it ended; it was a beautiful reminder of how precious life is, and just how much we all miss Michael.

If you're a Michael Jackson fan then you want to see Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil. Michael Jackson RULED in the 80s! He was everywhere, Pepsi commercials, MTV rockin' with Eddie Van Halen and co-writing We are the World. (The 2000s MJ is not represented in this performance) Once seated and the theater goes dark and the music starts playing? You're immersed in the music of Michael Jackson. Acrobats flying in the air to Beat It! Thriller? Man, they rocked it! They had performers walking up the side of the wall! They even had a MJ Holograph singing. After the performance is done and you're back to reality. Just know for a brief moment in time, you saw a Michael Jackson Performance. Highly recommended
Michael Jackson won was amazing. The theater while being quite large does not have a bad seating the house . The lighting and sound effects are top notch. The performers were outstanding. Definitely had a great time .
**August 2025: Weekend Evening Visit** My friend and I attended this Cirque du Soleil as our original concert was cancelled. We bought our tickets last minute at Vegas.com for $155.81per person (Side seats, 2nd Row). I've seen a handful of Cirque du Soleil performances and also grew up as a dancer so when I say that this was THE BEST CIRQUE EXPERIENCE EVER - it's a really big compliment. Without spoilers I'll just say that there were so many surprises and I loved the choreography and song choices for each sequence. There was a section of the performance where I felt like I was going to cry because it was so touching and the costumes and energy of the performers were unmatched. If you're a fan of MJ's music and dance legacy you will LOVE this show. I don't usually repeat visits but this is one I would GLADLY watch again.
I finally got to see Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil, and WOW... what an incredible show! From the moment it started, I was completely captivated. Every performance had me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn't stop smiling. The acrobatics were breathtaking, the choreography was incredible, and the way they combined Michael Jackson's music with Cirque du Soleil's creativity was absolutely brilliant. Since I know all of Michael Jackson's songs, it made the experience even more exciting. I found myself singing along in my head the entire time! Every act left me saying, "Wow!" and wondering how they pulled it off. The energy was nonstop, and every performance was exciting, creative, and so much fun from beginning to end. I'm a huge Cirque du Soleil fan in general. I've seen almost every Cirque show that I could. Unfortunately, I missed a few that are no longer running, such as IRIS in Los Angeles and, in Las Vegas, R.U.N. and LOVE (The Beatles). Whenever a touring Cirque du Soleil show comes to the Bay Area, I always make time to see it. If you're a Michael Jackson fan, this show is an absolute must-see. And if you already love Cirque du Soleil like I do, you'll have an amazing time. It's definitely one of the most entertaining shows I've ever seen! read more

LOUD!!! Dangerously loud! Mandalay Bay must reduce the volume of the Michael Jackson ONE show by Cirque du Soleil. The volume level of this show is dangerous. I had to leave the show early. I probably won't get my money back. However, I probably saved a bit of my hearing by leaving the show early. The volume level is so high, that I wouldn't be surprised if it is illegal, if it isn't, it should be. If it is illegal, a class action lawsuit should be pursued. This is outrageous. Is Vegas so unprotected by by health and safety regulations that Cirque du Soleil producers can get away with this? read more
This was a great and entraining show that featured many Michael Jackson songs and it took you through his time line! Great Acrobatics and dancing and a fabulous solo guitarist! We had seats in the 2nd level and you can see everything ! If you're in Las Vegas go to Mandalay Bay and Enjoy Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil. read more

If you love MJ then it's a great show. I wish they would have stayed to playing his hits and not other slower songs that are not as well known. The storyline started off strong but then kind of went all over the place. Overall entertaining, but not worth the $$ and would not see again. read more

This is my favorite Cirque Du Soleil show since now the Beatles Love show is closed! I have seen this show 4 times and there was an updated version which included drones! As usual the dancers and stage presence was incredible and MJ would be so proud! The drummers were incredible but the most memorable dancer was a guy with one leg! He was amazing and so talented! A great ending was I was able to share an elevator with some of the dancers and the guy with one leg was there! The dancers were very nice and were gracious to pose for a photo! Highly recommend this show as it's off the charts! read more

Talk about being late to the party. Cirque du Soleil's "Michael Jackson ONE" has been playing at Mandalay Bay for over twelve years. The bf & I finally caught a showing on our most recent visit to Vegas. "ONE" has more choreography & less circus elements than a typical Cirque production, but it still starts with actors heckling audience members pre-show. The plot follows four people who find pieces of MJ's iconic wardrobe -- his hat, sunglasses, gloves, shoes -- & discover they're able to release the magic that was always hidden within themselves. I loved seeing the dancers do the famous gravity-defying "Smooth Criminal" lean, & the hologram of Michael performing "Man in the Mirror" brought up so many emotions (I'm not crying, you're crying.) We were a few rows back from the stage, which was good for seeing costumes, dance moves, & facial expressions up close, but sitting further back would've allowed us to better see the action happening above & on the sides of auditorium. Talented cast dancing to hit after hit for 90 minutes. I'm glad to have been a witness to it. Better late than never. read more

Bought tickets for the same evening at the box office at Mandalay Bay. The employee who assisted us informed us that guests at the hotel receive a slightly discounted price, and she chose us great seats! Tickets are sent directly to your phone via text. The show was entertaining, a bit slow at times; but great overall. The only downside for me was that a tourist sitting next to me talked loudly to his companion the entire time, which was quite distracting. Also, please do not record or take photos! Employees WILL flash their lights at you and make you stop (I saw several people with their phones out trying to record). In order to get the full & best view of everything, I recommend any seats that are in the middle of the theatre, either in the back of section 102 or middle of 204. read more

The theater, memorabilia and aesthetics are just perfect. From the door you are surrounded by Michael. In true cirque fashion the acrobatics are stellar. Being set to the BEST of Michael's music seals the deal. It pulls at you heart to see the imagery of Michael at times... My struggle was the attempt of a storyline. Well, to be honest, the show started a little slow. This was our third Cirque du Soleil show. We absolutely love Michael Jackson. There were some amazing acrobatic moments, lighting, and music. There were a lot of high-level dance routines and the costumes were just as good as usual. Overall, this was a great tribute to Michael Jackson. it was very nice to take a walk down memory lane regarding his life and music. We truly love and miss him. Loved it. read more
I've never been to any Cirque de Soleil show but decided to go to the Michael Jackson One by Cirque de Soleil on this recent Vegas trip. My wife and I were so happy we went! It was so entertaining! All of our favorite Michael Jackson songs were played and the acrobatics, costumes, and integrated story were absolutely amazing. We highly recommend this show to everyone! read more

This show is absolutely amazing!! I definitely recommend it's 10/10!! When arriving for your show, show up on time. This show started exactly at 7PM, and you don't wanna be late because as you enter the theater, they have snacks and sodas and refreshments available for purchase before the show starts. You also want to be on time, because around the theater they have some of Michael Jackson's iconic fashion displays to observe and admire. I KNOW I 100 percent did! The show was modern, colorful , vivid and exciting! I loved the mixture of choreography and gymnastics mixed in with some of Michael Jackson's iconic songs. Once Billie Jean started playing, it had me dancing in my seat. I do recommend this show for children (5+) it is also respectful if you have your children sitting in their seats and they are supervised. The Theatre ushers are very vigilant during the show. There is no flash photography allowed inside, as requested prior to entering the Theatre. Again, the ushers are vigilant. There is a bag restriction as well. Make sure you check the bag measurements prior to arriving. They have great nice merchandise to purchase after the show. Hands down I scored this Thriller hoodie!! read more

If you're a big fan of MJ, you're going to love this show! Very nostalgic because they played a lot of older classics as well as his new ones. The songs, the choreography, the costumes, the acrobatics... such an amazing performance! I'm very impressed over their high tech hologram and dancers in harnesses. The employees there are very nice and even upgraded us a few rows closer for free! Btw, there is a free photo op spot of the MJ One backdrop box by the Uber/ Lyft drop off entrance. read more

What an AMAZING experience! This experience was well worth every single penny as each performer put forth their best foot, therefore, delivering an excellent experience! Each scene/song was captivating and engaging, prompting smiles and expressions of amazement. I would recommend that every single soul pay to gain such as an excellent experience. FYI: this event took place at the Mandalay Bay Theater which is on the Las Vegas Strip. One can get here via the Deuce bus with an $8 all day pass or something fairly cheaper for 2 hours. read more

Huge auditorium, incredible lightings.They performed a lot of MJ's chart busters and you can tell these performers worked incredibly hard on their dance routines because it looked amazing! Everyone I spoke to about the 1.5 hour long "Michael Jackson One" show said it was awesome. I rolled my eyes, sighed and called it a day. I'm so glad my spouse got us tickets without my consent! And, in the third row no less. EXPERIENCE: Located in the Mandalay Bay, we had cocktails prior to the show at nearby House of Blues. Being Las Vegas, we got drinks to go and brought them into the show (no glass allowed). There is a bar inside the theater as well. The theater isn't large, so the show felt almost intimate. The performance began with cast dressed as paparazzi, coming up to a few guests in the audience snapping pretend photos and asking interview-like questions to get the excitement started. There is no Michael Jackson impersonator, thankfully. Instead, cast members dance and perform acrobatics to his music. One dancer in particular showed off impressive moonwalking skills and several others nailing the anti-gravity lean. At the end, you do see the king of pop for a moment in the form of an eerily realistic but tastefully executed hologram. OVERALL: Highly recommended! And this is coming from someone who is tired of Cirque acrobatic shows in Vegas. read more
I'm usually not the hugest fan of Cirque du Solei (although I do enjoy it), but I do love Michael Jackson. This show massively beat expectations for me. From beginning to end we were wow'd with generation defining music, spectacular acrobatics, and amazing dancing. Truely epic read more

I have been wanting to see this show for a while. Yes the tickets are a little expensive for good seats but it was worth every penny. My husband and I loved the show it was amazing. The music, dancing, videos and acrobatics. I throughly enjoyed it all. So much to see. I loved it. We could definitely watch this again. We loved every minute read more

Was it worth seeing?
If you're not a fan of MJ before this show, you'll be a fan of his afterwards. Enjoyed the fact that it was different than typical Cirque ahows.
How much are the tickets for two adults?
It's going to depend on what section and what location you order from expect to spend $100 on the lowest ticket
Can a 5 in a half years old go see this show?
If you think they would like going to a concert they would probably like this. I don't know if all 5 year olds would like it but some would. It is not specifically for kids. It might be a little loud so maybe bring ear plugs for them.
I'm planning on a trip in December to go out there- is the show open and how is the social distancing going there?
Is the first row center on Second level better than row J side stage first level?
No, the closer you are to the stage, the less you'll be able to see the "big picture." In this instance, sitting further back is better than up front.
I have Keratoconus (disease of the eye), and my vision isn't all that great. Where would be the best place to sit that is not to pricey? thank you.
The lowest priced tickets are at the rear of the auditorium. All other seats in terms of price and value are up for grabs. You'll have to consider all options: both shows on a particular day and all days you may go. The prices vary considerably!

Where is the quickest place to park?

How long is the show?
I would agree with Rick..it was about 2 hrs.. but felt less than cause it was so exciting.
Is there a dress code for the show? Can we wear shorts?
No dress code but lots of nice bars/restaurants/clubs around and you never know where you're gonna end up so I always wear comfy dress jeans and nice sneakers in Vegas just in case...
How are the seating? Is it stadium like where there's enough view to look at the stage? I'm 5'0 and afraid that the person in front of me will block my view. I'm undecided if I should get an aisle seat for better viewing or balcony seats 1st row.
It is stadium style seating. I sat in the last row and could see the entire stage. There's activity happening all over the venue, even the walls
What are the best seating areas for this show? I was told not to sit too close! Any recommendations?
We sat in the upper, 201 section it was great, terrific view, no regrets at all. However like someone else said.There is a little more interactivity with the show at lower levels. We plan to take our son next time we're there and we'd definitely…
