Blown away!!! I wasn't sure what to expect when coming to this show, but it exceeded expectations. I had a smile on my face the whole time & my face hurt from laughing so much! Cheap Shot is a great new addition to downtown! They did an amazing job remodeling the place. Has to be the nicest place in downtown entertainment district. I own Therapy across the street and I am really happy to see such a wonderful place added to the Downtown roster! Staff was super friendly and the drinks were very tasty. Even the $3 Cheap Shot was very good! Very intimate venue to watch the show! Old school Vegas vibes with a modern twist! The sound system on the rooftop is incredible... HVAC went out around 2 so they had the information available in order to advise guests prior to roll call and scanning tickets. Instead we were seated and told later that the air was out and the choices were to sit in 100 degrees to watch the show in a crowded room or not. Even asked them to leave the doors opened for airflow and basic human health but it would supposedly take entertainment manager approval. Instead the doors were closed the humidity was unbelievable and the temperature rose above 100. No compensation besides a bottle of water. read more

Tried to enter with my REAL ID Bouncer with beard took it and said it was fake. I tried to explain to him if he scanned it he would see it was real and he refused. I then explained to him that I needed it to go to a show the next day and my plane ride home and still no remorse. He told that if I wanted it back I needed to get an officer. But In order to reach the officers I had to go through security check which would not let me in without id. I begged one last time and the other bouncer present told me I could get it back if I gave them bl*wjobs. Anyways ig I will be missing my show tomorrow to get a new id at the Vegas dmv so that I can fly home. Terrible place should have their liqour license taken away! If they just took 10 seconds to scan it they would've seen it was real:(( a whole lot of commotion for being the emptiest bar on the strip if u ask me read more

Miss Behave's MAVERICKS - I was excited to experience this show in 2022 when the buzz first started. They offered an intimate cabaret variety show at an affordable price for low income locals that's not in a casino or a dive bar. Yes please! Being connected to the performance art, cabaret, and circus communities, but still new to Vegas - I had a lot to learn about what Amy Saunders AKA Miss Behave had to offer. Familiar names started showing up on the bill along with talent I had yet to experience. With burlesque being my primary art, I was excited to see heavy hitters who tour the world doing limited runs as well as local tastemaker Elyse Elaine in a permanent residency. I was able to attend three times in 2022 and I loved every moment! The venue: It's gorgeous. An intimate space nestled among the other small bars and clubs on Fremont Street across from the historic El Cortez Hotel. It is dark and velvety and cozy and very, very vintage. The small round stage and creative seating areas are complimented by weird art and moody lighting while a super babe staff behind the stunning bar create delicious cocktails. Being a recent transplant from Seattle - it was as if the Palace Theater, The Pink Door, ReBar, The Rendezvous Jewel Box, and Knee High Stocking Company had a fancy cousin that went to Vegas and stayed there. Seattle peeps...if you know, you know. To be honest, I was almost the most impressed when I went to the bathroom. The walls were lined with old photos of entertainers of the past. Specifically many were of Black burlesque performers. I really appreciated this opportunity taken to showcase a history that used to be looked over in mainstream spaces. The show: When Amy greets the line outside and starts checking us in, you really feel authenticity welcomed. We all cozy in and sexy the bar staff gets us set up with fabulous cocktails. Amy hosts the show with a fluidity and excitement that really doesn't give you time to question your choices that brought you here. She thanks you for coming together in this beautiful space to witness and be entertained by her varied and superb cast and crew. As I watched all of the super talented burlesque stars cycle through last year, I was really excited for each and every audience member who got to see this show. On top of that - the circus, comedy, music and general variety of talents just blew me away every single time. I know that Amy Saunders is a magic maker and one hell of a show curator. I highly recommend anything she creates. There is also a wide variety of events happening at Cheapshot that are worth checking out. The sound of live music on Fremont East brought me through the doors tonight, and I was not disappointed. DJ and Kirsten were AMAZING, and had the room rocking the whole time I was there!! What a fun team they make. They were taking requests from the audience, and killed every song that came their way. The bar staff was just as fun, dancing along with the crowd throughout the night. The room itself is stunning, and drink prices were reasonable. I'll be back for piano night again! read more

Don't go here unless you want to be kicked out for using the restroom with your significant other. I wasn't given a warning and no signs posted anywhere stating that the restroom is for one person at a time. It actually states that the restroom is for "people" which I am pretty sure is plural and if there was a notice that said one person in a restroom at a time I wouldn't have told my boyfriend to come in with me so we could save some time. Performers are amazing though and should receive 5 stars. I honestly had a great time up until this shock and embarrassment of being kicked out. Like the announcer said "it's f-ing 2022". Not everyone using the restroom together is doing the deed or other activities. Some people in Vegas are sober. Some people just go to the bathroom together with their partner. Put a sign or a bathroom attendant stating your rules so people, yes people meaning plural don't break them without knowing. As someone who works in the event and hospitality industry, do better. Here's your review that y'all begged for. 5 stars for the performance and the server and 1 star overall. read more

Went last night for their open bar event. My friends were a bit late, so I was standing at the end of the stage near the front of the hallway. The bouncer who was all the way at the end of the hallway came up to me and said something to me, due to it being extremely loud I thought he said "you know you can go back there..." and that what I tried doing because I was under the impression that it was okay. Nope. He literally almost pushed me all the way back to bar area and screamed at me that he told me I couldn't go back there. At this point I was extremely confused, scared and uncomfortable because of his attitude and actions. I tried to explain myself/ apologize for the confusion. But he still assumed I was trying to get into "We all Scream" next door (that's when I realized that both bars were connected from the outside). At this point, I just gave up waited for friends to find me inside, we stayed because we were there for the open bar.The bartender was nice, but the drinks were not good.To be honest I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time though, we left shortly after. I don't think I will ever come back because of this incident that happened to me. If I could give 0 stars I would but the bartender was super sweet, and I loved her attitude she made me feel a little better. read more
