Today my wife, son, & I decided to do a blind taste test of 3 local sub shops we've never had before that we've heard great things about: Cheba Hut, Jersey Mike's, and Inga's. Our results were all similar; we all agreed that JM was the best of the bunch. My wife and I liked Inga's more than Cheba Hut, while I preferred Cheba. I really wanted to like this place, but after my 3rd visit, I don't think I will return, for 3 reasons: 1. The food is quite overpriced. I paid $10+ for just a sandwich, no chips, no drink. 2. The food only tastes average. The quality of the chicken seemed equal to Subway. 3. For my takeout order, they would not let me have a water to go. This was a new one for me! I tried the spicy club, Buffalo chicken, chicken bacon ranch, ham swiss pineapple, teriyaki chicken and the BLT. All of these were great and I do not think I can choose a favorite.
