Teri was so responsive, kind, and helpful with all of the questions I had. I had to reschedule our appointment day of due to an unforeseen circumstance and was able to get on her schedule later that week, and she was so understanding. I stopped by her office for my appointment and was out the door less than an hour later. I sent her some documents later that evening, and she messaged me within a couple hours saying they were completed. At no fault to them, our tax return got delayed and we got a letter from the IRS saying we were only getting a portion of our refund. The amount of time I spent on the phone following up after not getting responses was much more than it should have been. I also was verbally told that after I put my banking information in and signed the forms everything would be paid for by Scofield, and I wouldn't need to do anything. Fast forward to three months later and I get a bill in the mail saying I hadn't paid my state's income tax. Now I have to pay that along with three month's of interest, all because there was a miscommunication. I called them and they said there was nothing they could do...not even pay the interest, and they didn't own up to making a mistake. If I had known the trouble this would be I would have rather spent a few hours to do my own taxes.
