Wish they had a zero stars for this one... sadly, this review is not how I anticipated it was going to be. We heard so many good things about this place and drove 45 minutes to get here. Was surprised how small it was on the inside, but it was cute. Started with steamed dumplings and fresh rolls. Loved the dumplings, the rolls were ok at best, too many greens, no vermicelli noodles... flavorless shrimp, just ok... Had the Shrimp and Chicken Pad Thai for my meal and it was really good. I left there thinking 4/5 stars. Well, after getting home and several hours passing the pains and uncontrollable "bathroom runs" were out of control. I was SO sick and uncomfortable. This persisted for hours. My leftovers went straight into the trash and sadly, we definitely won't be back. read more

Nice, clean, and decorative place. I came for lunch while on a work trip and ordered the fiery pad Thai. It wasn't too spicy at all and the food came out quickly. It's probably at a 5 or 6 level of spice on a 10 point scale. I also had the Thai iced tea which was tasty and refreshing. I might come back for dinner for another noodle dish. Very good Thai. This is my go to If I don't want to drive all the way to Siam in Middletown. This is basil fried rice. Default is chicken and shrimp for protein. Very good, I would have them dial down the spice the next time. Still recommend the good. Very good read more

We stopped in cold and hungry after visiting Edaville and it did not disappoint! We had the shumai and scallion pancakes the portions and flavors were perfection. We had the Tom yum soup and the wonton soup. The wonton soup was perfect for the kids, nice clean broth and not spicy for them. For dinner we had the incredible pad Thai with tofu and vegetables. I know this might sound crazy because it's in a strip mall in Middleboro, but Check In Thai might be the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to. The inside is actually very nicely decorated, and it's small so it's never loud. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. I have never eaten anything that was less than perfect here. My personal favorites are chicken satay, basil fried rice, pad Thai, crispy basil chicken and pho... But honestly everything else is amazing as well. The food is bland and tasteless as is the peanut sauce. The dumpling sauce is oversweetened. The meat is tasteless and not tender. The service is good and the restaurant is clean. However, compared to other Thai restaurants I've eaten in, Check-ln's food is not up to par. I've eaten there numerous times and it's been the same. My One and I went here on a whim seeking a healthier option than our usual... You can't judge a book by its cover any more than you can judge a restaurant by its facade or location. Check In is on a blah road and has a blah facade but rest assured everything is A-OK on the inside. Very clean and decorated in a non-Thai but cohesive and simple bohemian/granola-type manner. Check In offers the usual Thai faire with nothing too mental but they did have soft-shell crab and other interesting stuff not always found at "the usual" Thai places. The waitress was wicked nice and low-volume soft pop music was playing. We kicked it off with the Thai Iced Tea which is always a crowd pleaser. They came in nice glasses with real flower garnish. The coup de gras was that the straw wrappers were "origamied" into little rose flowers. Very slick. My One got the 'Goons which were quite teenie but krisp and not the usual greasy Chinese type. These also had a flower garnish. Very light n' tasty and delicate. I ordered the Chicken and Beef Something or Other and asked for it extra spicy and my One got the Pad Thai Shrimp. My dish was quite copious and had TONS of meat nicely sliced in thin pieces and all hot n' fresh and nice veggies. Very good flavor. My One's Pad Thai was excellent and a copious portion to boot. Check In Thai Cuisine was absolutely phenomenal! The restaurant is clean and well kept. Our host and waitress were extremely welcoming, kind, and attentive. Our food was delicious and fairly priced, and the playlist that was playing was SO GOOD! Lastly, it was my friend's birthday and they acknowledged this and not only wished her a happy birthday, but they brought out fried ice cream and sang happy birthday to her. Spent a few hours at Horse Neck Beach. Was driving around Snipatuit a pond I will someday Windsurf maybe. Came here on the recommendation of a nice couple I chatted with who were driving around the Pond. The Sea Food Pho was fairly good and Lemonade excellent. Small cozy place with excellent service even towards the family that got there 24 minutes before they closed. It's crazy that the best Thai food i've ever had across the county is in Middleboro MA of all places. Since moving up here, I go about once a week, the food is amazing, the workers are very attentive and friendly and have even hooked me up with free egg rolls on the house before.
