The Pad Thai had a sticky sauce which is not what I expect in a Pad Thai. I give it 3.5*s. The curry was just okay. I also give it 3.5*s. The tie breaker was the fried dumplings which were over fried and had too little filling. I gave them 2.5*s, giving me an overall rating of 3*. read more

The food is excellent! We had massaman curry with tofu and shrimp with vegetable stir fry. The food was fresh and arrived quickly. The staff are friendly and efficient. It looks like most of their business is take out as there were customers coming in to pick up food and ordering by phone the entire time that we were there. As for what I ordered Crispy Chicken Pad Thai ( extremely good ) and Chicken Fehr Soup ( great ) there is only one thing I can say to improve and that would be to cut away gristle or fat knuckles from the chicken better found them to be annoying . Address this issue and you get 5 STARS. read more

Tried Cilantro for lunch with the family. Ordered chicken pad see ew, shrimp pad thai, tom yum soup with shrimp, house fried rice, chicken satay, and basil chicken. The basil chicken and the noodle dishes were all excellent. While the fried rice was very tasty, for $15 (they inadvertently charged me $16, which I paid without saying anything), the portion was way too small. The rest of the food was good but didn't stand out. The jasmine tea we ordered was reasonably priced but was of poor quality tea bags. $2 for a small cup of steamed rice is also on the high side. Cilantro also did not have the sliced peppers in vinegar, something I am used to at every Thai restaurant. I came here on a random Tuesday afternoon and it was completely dead which to me wasn't a good sign, but because of all the good reviews I had to try it out. Service was quick and very helpful. I got the pad Thai which is my favorite Thai dish and literally 2 bites in and the shredded chicken had a piece of bone in it (very uncommon) which turned me completely off, but I forced myself to continued eating and it was good to be honest. I would come here again but hopefully the chicken won't have pieces of bone in it. read more

We got the spring rolls, zucchini sticks (superb), mango curry (perfect), Khai which is like egg foo young and delicious, and massaman curry. Their spicy basil stir fry, pad see ew, Masaman curry and panang curry all take me back to my days of eating on the streets in Bangkok. To say this is a jewel in this area is a massive understatement. The twin owners are absolute angels and will cater the dishes to your preferred taste, mine tends to lean to a "Thai spicy" level. Beads of sweat will drip down your forehead. I recommend everyone who is willing to try an authentic Thai experience to come. Good ethnic, specifically Thai, food is hard to come by in Marion, but Cilantro is the exception. I generally do take out because they're quick and it's easy, but the restaurant itself is also very cute. Parking is definitely not the best or most expansive, but I've never not found a spot. I highly recommend the cashew nut with chicken or yellow curry with chicken. They both come with white rice and are just a bit spicy but not too spicy by any means. Everything is always hot and freshly made. Take out usually doesn't take longer than 20 minutes from when you place the call! Service has always been very kind, and pricing is reasonable. Slightly more expensive than the typical Thai food place, but that's par for the course in Marion, and it's well worth it! read more
