Most recently my business account that I had was hacked and I was told by the bank we needed to create a new account because of the fraud. I understood but the difficulty is made worse since I can not visit the branch because I now live in Florida. Additionally I need to be able to use this account for my business so I need to get this change completed quickly. I was first told by Morgan an assistant to the branch manager that we could fex ed the document's needed and we should be able to have everything complete within a time frame less than 2 weeks . I was ok with that. Days later she called me to tell me that they cant open the account until I file a new fictitious biz filing.. why I had to do that since Ive had the old account with the same business for 6 years I dont know. I told her if thats the case then Im probably closing my accounts since I no longer live there. She said she would get back to me . Days went by and no call .. I finally called her 2x and never received a call back . Finally I called the main line and the customer service rep sent her ( Morgan ) and the branch manager ( Cameron) a note to please call me so we can move forward. I eventually heard back from Cameron and after 2-3 days of discussion he agreed to not have me file a new fictitious biz filing and we can move forward and he would e mail me the paperwork to sign and then once signed we can open the account and order the new checks . The new paperwork arrived and it was incorrect .. so they had to resend .Once received i signed ande mailed back per their instructions. Now I find out 3 days later that Cameron is now requiring the original signature to open the account and I need to mail him that . So the 2 week time frame is almost now past and I need to mail him the original will be at least another 5 -7 days from Florida until they can even order the checks.. meaning the 2 weeks will be at least 4 and it causes additional issues with me doing my regular business. Thats not good communication or follow through . I guess by looking at all the 1 star ratings Im not alone.

If you work a 9-5 pm job, the branch is not available to these customers and this does not serve them well. If the advantage of banking here is having a brick and mortar building to do your banking, this lack of availability has created a lost of incentive to remain a Wells Fargo customer. The many on-line banks are becoming much more appealing plus their high yield savings accounts offer much more interest on your savings. After 35 years of banking at WF, not sure it makes sense any more.

Chase Sapphire Reserve Card: When we went to San Miguel de Allende in November, someone made a…read more$2003.10 charge on my credit card for hardware from Comer Neggler Company, which appears to be a Mexican provider of cleaning chemicals. I immediately cancelled the card and reported fraud to Chase. They "investigated" and 62 days later contacted me to say I was responsible for the charge. I have since three times challenged the charge. Each time they come back a couple of days later and tell me it's legitimate. I asked them how they decided. They said because the charge was made on my card. They have not called the vendor and asked for a receipt with a signature. I have complained to a state agency, a federal agency, the state attorney general, etc. I now have their attention at least. Next step is I am going to take Chase to small claims court and force a company representative to explain how they could go along with this fraud. Card holders beware. Chase is not a reliable partner. I am going to cancel this very expensive card; $700 per year fee, and for what? They don't stand by their customers. Take your business somewhere else. I would give them a less than one star if possible.

At 85 years old she doesn't get out much. I went to try to deal with some things for my mom's account with what I thought was the appropriate paperwork. Someone from management came over and I have to say she was awful the way she talked and dealt with me. When dealing with illness and death in our family, the management should be a little more soft maybe saying we understand you're going through a difficult time. That would've calmed me down considerably the way she talked to me was completely unacceptable and I will never step foot in the BMO in Rohnert Park again. No one seems very happy there except some of the young tellers.
