Always accomidating and on time. Drivers have always been extra helpful getting my son from the airport to NMU and vice versa. They even stop at the storage unit if needed for him to bring or pick up his belongings. I'm very apprecative of them. read more

Worst cab company ever. Waited 30 plus minuets for them to tell me they were at the wrong bar and walked there to never get picked up. The drives never called to make contact. I asked what make and model and later realized I saw that car get pilled in with people leaving the bar. A girl walking a mile through winter.. what the crap is wrong with this company. Update: made contact with an operator and no remedy's were made. Simply told to have a good night and they will take care of it. No care for rafters of cusp yet service. read more

Never on time. Never answers the phone, jacked up their prices by $3 a ride because they bought a Tesla! Why the f#*k would you do that?????? THey lose my reservations often. I get charged for rides that are supposed to be free. If I were not dirt poor I would NEVER use them again. read more

Our touring company has used Checker Transport for the last two years and we can't say enough great things about them. The person who manages our leases is the best! He also drives. He is friendly, accommodating and very skilled. When he's with our group he is part of the family. The rates are very reasonable and the service is always prompt and without fail. Worst cab company I've ever used their drivers don't show on time if they show at all, they roll through scheduled stops and drive off on you if they don't want to do a run, they are twice as expensive as uptown used to be, and apparently if you don't live in marquette they want you to pay with a credit card. Dispatcher seems to spend more time away from the phones than answering them. Drivers pick up anyone near the scheduled pick up spot instead of double checking to make sure they have the right person, if you're not there on time berry few even bother to call you, you are required to provide a contact number if you schedule online, to see where you are. read more

So we had a reservation for their bus to pick us up after our wedding reception. They decided not to show up and left the entire wedding party standing outside with no ride. When we tried to call to see what was going on they would just hang up on us. Will never do business with them again nor will I recommend them. read more
