The manager is an absolute sweetheart, every single member (except one) provided amazing service to me. There's one that is probably having a bad day and is taking it out on me everytime I visit. The black women are sweet and beautiful souls. There's a fat cross-eyed white lady that I wouldnt recommend talking to, she is disgusting to customers, including me. Let's be honest checkers isn't that great. Today I was starving, my appointment ran late and I just wanted something cheap and fast. I was in that right lane, so I indulged. Now I'm struggling, I cant seem to think of a reason to give them 2, 3, or even 4 stars. The guy at the window was super polite and having a good time, the food came out quick and hot. I got a drink, a fry, and 2 checkerburgers, just the right amount to fill your stomach and not feel gross, and it was $5. You cant get anything for $5. One of those little chicken bites even made its way into my fries. You know the little things. Worst experience ever. I had a mobile order and it took almost exactly 1 hour before I finally got my cold food that was ready sitting on the counter. I wish I was exaggerating. I had 2 cars in front of me for 30 mins. When I got to the window no one would acknowledge me. No one asked my name or order number. After another 10 mins I finally got the one person who was actually working attention. I told her my name and she said they were working on the order. Then the guy on mobile orders obsessed with taking 30 seconds to add 4- 6 stickers to close bags for the mobile orders (I had to tear mine open from the side), and moving the same 2 drinks around to 3 different counters to waist more time, delivers a mobile order out the door to the car behind me, who is currently block in my me and the cars behind him. This guy has still not acknowledged me, or asked my name and I've been in line for 40 mins. Then he locks himself out which took up another 5 mins. 1 girl literally kept just standing there like a deer in head lights why the other 2 workers bump into her. Then he finally comes with what I thought was my order, but it was someone else's. Then he finally calls the only person actually working(I feel bad for the 1 lady holding that place together it is already unstaffed as is) and she finds my order sitting on the counter now 54 minutes after I placed my mobile order. It was stone cold, she did give me hot fries since I didn't want to wait for a new burger, even though she loudly complained as if it was somehow my fault they failed to even ask my name and lost my order on the counter and her co workers have 0 common sense causing a huge line out the street because she's the only one actually getting stuff out all 3 windows at what was now almost 2am at this point. At least the guy that was blocked in for 20 minutes got to eat hot food in his car. Needless to say I would rather go hungry after work than resort to coming back here. Time to find a new checkers location that hopefully drug tests and has some common sense. read more

I will never eat here again. I ate here 3 days ago, and still feel Horribly ILL, I haven't had the appetite to eat anything besides small amount of fruit since my meal. Tested negative for Covid, so that rules that out. I ordered food early in the morning, and after work that day, I still can't get out of bed. I ordered the chili cheese fries and chicken and fries box, they forgot the sauce by the way..do yourself a favor, unless you want to get sick on purpose, don't eat here. The vibe I received from these workers after other previous experiences ordering here, is they do not wish to provide you with good food or customer service, and will drive customers away on purpose to make the location less and less busy over time. I ordered the 6 piece tenders combo and the fries were good. The tenders were atrocious.... They were tough as if it was still frozen or just not fully cooked. I come here through Drive-Thu sometimes on my lunch break. "Go ahead with your order" is how they greet you. The black girl in the window always has an attitude. On my receipt her name is Raushanah. She needs some training on how to talk to ppl. Her job is really simple, take the orders and give out the food. It's not rocket science working at a fast food chain. I have always loved Checkers food but I don't indulge much. On my way home from work like I decided to order a 2 for $5 deal. The line wasn't too long but it was taking forever. Once you are in the line there isn't any way to get out.. . You must endure. The young man at the headset didn't take orders at the speaker, only at the window, despite the speaker working just fine. I was in line nearly 30 minutes for two items. The burger was fresh but I witnessed the cook take two chicken patties and put them back into the oil from the warmer drawer. I know, before you say you get what you pay for or what do you expect from fast food.. . I expect the establishment to provide fresh food and not cut corners. As I began driving I took a bite and quickly realized something wasn't right. There was a Palmetto bug aka big ass roach and I took a bite out of it. Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at around 2PM, I had the absolute WORST, MOST DISGUSTING service I have EVER received from ANY type of business establishment. First off, the man taking our order took it down incorrectly, and when we told him it was incorrect, he came back with an attitude and said, "You ain't gotta do all that." Then we pull up to the window, and charge us for the wrong order, and we receive the wrong order and tell them it's wrong, we were told "No, that's what you ordered, it's not wrong." I didn't catch his name. But then a woman named Shauna (Shaun, whatever), then proceeded to raise her voice and tell me, "You best not come at me with an attitude." And acted like she would physically do something. And then when I she was told, "I'm sorry, I'm sitting in a car and you're standing at the fryers (ignoring what I'm saying) and I can't hear anything, and want to make sure you can hear me correctly, her response was "Mhmm, that's what I thought." And proceeded to then walk away and ignore us. We ordered a large #1, a medium fry and vanilla milkshake, and a small fry. We received a chili dog and another sandwich. After they fixed our order, they then insisted that we never had a medium fry, and insisted we pay. Even the shift manager, Brenda, insisted we pay without even asking what happened or why we were having an issue with her employees. We left without our fries, very angry and appalled and IMMEDIATELY called corporate and reported the employees by name. I really hope there are consequences, because based on other reviews, this isn't a first or one time thing. I've been going to this checkers for 10+ years and am so disappointed and shocked at how horrible that place has become. It used to be a family favorite, and now I will never go to that location again. I suggest retraining your staff in customer service and basic manner and respect for other people. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I'll start by saying I rarely write reviews, but I thought this was necessary. I also don't eat fast food that often, but I didn't have a choice today. At this Checkers, the woman who took my order in the drive through acted as if I was inconveniencing her. No "thank you," "have a good day," etc. she yelled at me to repeat my first kids meal order, than just said, "ok." After a few seconds of silence, I asked if I should move forward and she just said, "yeah." I had to ask her to repeat my order once I got to the window because she didn't do it on her own. I had to park while my wings cooked (at least they were fresh...) and the man that brought out my food was actually polite, so that was nice. Overall, I would not recommend this place... read more

Let me start with 1 star is being gracious! We went there last night, and ordered food for 4 people. Ordered 4 cones, 4 pies, two meals and two burgers. Started off with only receiving 2 cones and window closed. After waiting for about five minutes for somebody to come back to the window so we can ask for our other two cones and that's where it all went south. We were asked to please pull forward and park. We did and sat and waited for almost 40 minutes waiting for our food. Finally came and we checked our bag to find that two pies were missing and our receipt. The guy went back and brought our pies and our receipt. We left but didn't notice until we got home that our drinks were missing as we were so frustrated. We divided up the burgers out of the bag to find it they were ice cold. I called back the store several times, as we are not close to their location and of course nobody answered the phone. I took two bites of my mushy cold burger and threw it in the garbage. So my dinner consisted of an apple pie and ice cream cone, obviously this store was very short staffed but the irony was the store wasn't even busy. A waste of 20.00!!!!
