    Tangy

For a burger joint, fenced windows and limited parking are exactly the kind of gritty charm I like to see. THEM ONION THANGS THO?!?! Oh man. I ordered the Tangy Burger and loaded fries topped with onion thangs. While I was slightly underwhelmed by the burger due to the hype I had heard, it was still very tasty, with an authentic patty flavor and ingredients that meshed very well. The real star of the meal, though, was the loaded fries with onion thangs. Those alone are worth coming for, and adding them to the burger takes the whole experience to another level. Amazing price for what you get and a patient and funny host ready to take your order. Top 5 burgers spot for sure.

Always slaps. Every single time. Never misses! When I'm in a hurry, I place my order to pick up and they always have it right on time. Taste is always great and customer service is top tier!

    Big Smack + bacon

I've heard rave reviews about Thee Burger Spot and decided to try it since I was in the area. I was immediately greeted when I entered and the inside gave me car garage vibes. However I proceeded to order when it was my turn in line. I decided to order the Big Smack add bacon and an order of fries. It took about 10 minutes for my order to be ready and I decided to take it to go. The accoutrements on the burger (bacon, sauce and fried onion) gave it floor because the beef tasted unseasoned. The burger also was lukewarm. Thank goodness the hand cut fries were fresh and hot. BL: it was ok, reasonably priced but it didn't wow me like the reviews hyped it up.

Thee Burger Joint in Tampa was so good and very affordable. Such a great spot if you want quality food without spending a lot. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was delicious; perfectly cooked with BBQ sauce and fried onions that added so much flavor. My parents both got cheeseburgers and absolutely loved them. We also tried the fries and onion rings, and both were really good. Simple, classic, and done right. Overall, a great local burger joint with tasty food, fair prices, and awesome service. We'll definitely be back.

There is something for everyone on the menu. Food is always fresh, portions are very generous, and their staff are incredibly attentive and fast. Their prices are incredibly reasonable. There is plenty of parking, the location is a bit small, but I manage to always get lucky and get a table every time I've gone. Seems that a lot of customers take their food to go. I have seen a diverse group of customers every time I visit. I always recommend this location to friends and family.

    Mango kush drink

I ordered food to pick up; it was ready on time and had a clear, easy pick up process with friendly service at the window. I ordered the mango kush drink, bacon cheeseburger, and fries. The fries were not crispy so that was the only negative for me. However, the fries were perfectly seasoned with a great taste overall so if you prefer soft fries, this will be a positive for you. Their burgers come with American cheese but you can substitute for cheddar, white cheese or pepper jack. My burger was perfectly cooked and had balanced ingredients. My drink was refreshing with a strong mango flavor without being too sweet.

Those onion Things need I say more? This Spot reminded me of those Burger Spots back home in Cali that are in abundance but seemingly forgotten across the rest of the country a small DIY Spot doing it their way with every bite! Of the burgers I went with the Heated One and I will say it was good but definitely not the best spicy burger I've had it left me looking for the heat while that was non existent I will say the rest of the burger was yummy and definitely hit the spot for the day but I wouldn't get it again. The Onion Things now that's where it's at a pile of onions battered and fried and super good like these alone are worth coming here so do yourself a favor and just get them they are soo good! They have a variety of juices the mango one I got was really good just think sweet and unique and that's the best way I can describe it! Overall awesome Spot that I hope to visit again at some point to try a different burger and to get those onion things because that's what really spoke to me here those were just too good!

Ok, this place is FUN! It's a true hole in the wall - best French fries in town and the burger travels very well. Picked up lunch for the office (:15 mins away) and the burger was still hot and tasted great! No need to order the fries crispy - they are cooked perfectly every time! The burger Spot is at the top of my list for burgers in Tampa! Plus the guys that run the place are really nice

Best burger spot in Tampa, and rivals Engine No. 9 in St. Pete. The burger here is juicy with great flavoring. I liked the $10.25 Double Cheeseburger better than the $9.25 Tangy. And boy oh boy, was that $5 strawberry shake excellent. There's very little seating inside. Mostly people sit along the wall and wait for their order to be called, then eat outside the restaurant. I was able to snag one of the booths and wait for my food. It took about 15 minutes from the time I ordered until my food was ready. I certainly will be back and want to try their pizza burger in the future. I make burgers a ton at home myself, and I really enjoyed the double cheeseburger. The patties are thick!

Solid. You can taste the quality in this mom and pop, independent long time establishment. Beyond friendly service. The burgers are a good size, so bring your appetite and ask for the right dressings - BBQ sauce, mayo, mustard, etc. They also have a wicked sense of humor. Next time, I'll leave some room for dessert. Plenty of parking up front.

Best burger I have ever had! Definitely a must try! fiance and I ordered the big boy and a bacon cheeseburger and oh my goodness! 10/10 cooked perfectly, great flavor, and great price! The fries look homemade and they are seasoned so good.

Would love to try this place. Is there a reason you don't open for dinner? We generally don't eat burgers at lunch.

    Do they offer lettuce buns?

No, sorry our lettuce is shredded. We can give you a hamburger on lettuce if that’s what you prefer.

    Do they have GF buns?

Hello, thank you for the email. At this time we do not have Gluten Free buns.

We went, hoping to have a great burger and support a local business. They don't serve alcohol, and they only offer one flavor of milkshake (Nutella on the day we visited). You order at the counter if eating out, or the server will take your order from your table if you are dining in. There are only a few seats in the whole place, and the largest table is for 6. I ordered a nacho burger. My daughter ordered a side of fries and the quail eggs. My son ordered the COVID-19 burger. My husband ordered a classic cheeseburger with a side of fries. The food took a reasonable amount of time to come out. The server was running the cash register, taking orders, and delivering food, so the food came out one plate at a time in between his other work. My daughter's quail eggs were overboiled and served cold. She ate them all, but they were pretty blah. The fries were good. We only received one order, rather than the two. Not sure where the miscommunication was in the kitchen, the server was surprised and confused when we pointed it out when the check came. My burger was excellent. It was salty and crunchy and cooked to a medium as requested. My only complaint was that the bun was served cold. If you can't grill or toast it, at least steam it so it isn't cold? My main complaint is the price is closer to a real restaurant price, but the restaurant setting is more like a fast food place. I'm not sure that sitting in very uncomfortable seats while ordering from a folding paper menu justifies prices double that of Shake Shack or BurgerFi. The burgers were good, but I'd also like the ability to drink a beer with my burger, which I can do at Shake Shack or BurgerFi.
