This is a good place for a big, Instagram-ready burger. My son really wanted to try TNT burger having heard about it from friends. We went, hoping to have a great burger and support a local business. They don't serve alcohol, and they only offer one flavor of milkshake (Nutella on the day we visited). You order at the counter if eating out, or the server will take your order from your table if you are dining in. There are only a few seats in the whole place, and the largest table is for 6. I ordered a nacho burger. My daughter ordered a side of fries and the quail eggs. My son ordered the COVID-19 burger. My husband ordered a classic cheeseburger with a side of fries. The food took a reasonable amount of time to come out. The server was running the cash register, taking orders, and delivering food, so the food came out one plate at a time in between his other work. My daughter's quail eggs were overboiled and served cold. She ate them all, but they were pretty blah. The fries were good. We only received one order, rather than the two. Not sure where the miscommunication was in the kitchen, the server was surprised and confused when we pointed it out when the check came. My burger was excellent. It was salty and crunchy and cooked to a medium as requested. My only complaint was that the bun was served cold. If you can't grill or toast it, at least steam it so it isn't cold? My main complaint is the price is closer to a real restaurant price, but the restaurant setting is more like a fast food place. I'm not sure that sitting in very uncomfortable seats while ordering from a folding paper menu justifies prices double that of Shake Shack or BurgerFi. My stomach growls as I reflect on my experience at TNT lol. I ended up here as a last resort after an overcrowded Water Street Tampa deterred my date and I from waiting anymore in lines for food. This is their second location. The original is more a food truck with outdoor seating located on N. Dale Mabry. This location (S. Dale Mabry) has only been open about a month. Clean, rustic atmosphere. Loved the smells coming from kitchen as lunch was being prepared. I had the Waikiki burger and fries and yum! Burger was loaded with bacon, pineapple, lettuce, tomato and the melt cheese was oh so gooey! The seasoned fries were hot and crisp. They told me how long my take out would be and they delivered it promptly, boxed and ready to go. Staff was was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Who came up with these burgers? AMAZING! One of you decided to put some Zing in the everyday Burger! Bam Baby you hit the mark! Can't say enough about your service, she is amazing don't let her go EVER! We had the Covid 19 Burger super flavorful and the Smokey sauce syringe hysterical and tasty. The second burger we tried was the Bella Ciao so much going one the freshness of the barata and the herbs I couldn't handle it, I was in heaven. Ps for those of you cutting carbs they will do a lettuce wrap but good luck while you sit and smell those amazing fries. Next time we are going to try the hotdogs.... qual eggs? What ?? we decided to try this place on a whim after the family was craving burgers and boy were we impressed!!! we have not yet had the chance to visit their food truck spot but their new location is in a familiar area, and they did a great job making it their own. the menu has plenty of fun choices, so many that we needed several minutes to narrow down what we wanted. I had the waikiki with fries, one son had the classic cheeseburger, the other had the double trouble and my husband had the la gaucha. the fries were crispy with great flavor and each of us loved our burgers! all of the toppings on mine meshed perfectly together and it was the right amount of messy. I saw the menu and decided to get something easy to compare with other burger places. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. The purchase price was $16.67. It took approx 20 minutes to come out. It was an order to go. I opened the box and the fries were barely room temperature, not hot at all. They also were a pile of 1/2 inch to 1 inch fries. Fry crumbles. The bun was not toasted, grilled, warmed up or steamed. I took one bite of the burger and the bun was awful. Cold and straight out of the bag. You want to charge high prices? I'm fine with that. For almost $17 they, terribly under preformed. Nowhere near worth the cost of a burger n fries. Not going back. read more
