I have the number to the woman in charge and she never answers or returns calls. Same happens with the main phone by the lobby. Workers say that they are busy helping customers but i have gone in when it is vacant and used my phone right there and it dose not ring. Apparently there is a computer by their work area and it alerts them to calls but they don't see them or check messages. There are like 3 phone numbers online to call but they are useless. I called one of them and it told me i had one a life alert button and went into a promotion. Then i called another and it was some guy about stocks. Then there is one with a virtual assistant that is worthless. All in all if you want to try and conduct business over the phone with them you are out of luck.....

When I spoke to Marlene at GLCU she did not understand that when Great Lakes ran the deposit the MICR line was read incorrectly and they would need to fix it. Nope they just wanted to blame me or the other bank where the routing number was completely wrong location. I also tried calling customer service, she was very nice but then I must have gotten the wrong email, because it was returned undeliverable. Lastly I verified with my bank and she agreed the MICR was encoded incorrectly, but she said sometimes you can't reason with people. I tried to go to bat for this customer, but unfortunately there wasn't anything I could do to help other than write another check and hope it doesn't get returned. Very Disappointed.

We were giving all this information as far as a new home, school, daycare and it seemed as it was all brushed off. We paid $200 for 20 min of her rushed time. My fiance just knew that our returns weren't filled out right so we took them to Delahoya tax services with Maribel and of course to our belief we were shorted a few thousand. Then, she looked at my tax form, asked me a few questions, then quickly accused me of lying about my Tax information. She went on to say I was not acting in good faith and then accused me of 'attacking' her because I said I didn't agree with her assessment. I spent the money on the Tax insurance and simply asked if HR Block filed my taxes incorrectly, I will pay the government what I owe and HR Block should re-imburse me the cost of the insurance, if only because they messed up. That seems reasonable. Barbara took that as an attack on her. It was the strangest experience I have ever had. Barbara Ridder's conduct was nothing short of cruel and irresponsible. I won't say you shouldn't work with HR Block. In the past they've been really great to me. However, I would strongly suggest you select another location, at the very least, in order to avoid being treated so poorly by this particular employee.
