The way the asks office is working now was a bit confusing to me. When the appointment system says that appointments open at 6:30 am daily, I think that means you can't make an appointment before 6:30 am on the day you want to go. That has its ups and downs--not having to wait weeks to get an appointment being one of them, but it's annoying to have to wake up so early just to do it. I know their system if having various stations must work for them since they've done it this way since time began but it's super annoying as a user if the DMV to have to stop here, then go there, then sit over here and wait to be called by those people, etc. Having said that, I was in and out of here within probably 30 minutes or fewer, which was nice. The folks were not overly friendly, but they got the job done. This location is in what is or was a shopping center, so parking is plentiful.

I finally went, and thankfully, this location was close to work, which made it easier to stop by during my break. The wait was short, and the whole process was pretty quick and smooth. That part was a plus. Now the service. I don't expect friendly greetings or big smiles, but the person testing my car seemed completely over it and made me feel like I was a nuisance (like, trust me, I didn't want to be there either). He was mumbling the entire time, and I genuinely couldn't hear what he was saying. He wanted me to put my key on the dashboard, get back in the car, and roll down the window, but I had to ask multiple times just to understand his instructions. I get it. It was cold, and I'd be miserable working outside in that weather, too. Still, clearer communication would've made the experience much better. In the end, I'm just thankful it didn't take long and that I didn't have to be there for very long.
