Our initial experience wasn't great, getting the first visit scheduled took forever. That should have been my clue. Every appointment since has been very difficult to schedule. When my child is due to be seen, they have one appointment to offer. If that doesn't work, they will suggest something two weeks later. Well that adds two weeks to the treatment time - nobody wants that! Their appointments are only available between 8:20 and 3:20 (and I don't believe they are open on Fridays), so your child will always miss school for this (and you will miss work). Maybe this is a small sacrifice to make, but I wish I had known before we started here or I would likely have gone elsewhere.

During that process, I was also working on sleep apnea and failing CPAP. Apparently double-jaw surgery is a highly regarded although intense surgical option for sleep apnea if you're a candidate. Ended up pivoting that way and changed Invisalign to braces and Dr. Walton helped me find some great surgeons. It was a long process but I'm so grateful!! I'm 10+ weeks post-op and it's been incredible. Still have several months of braces but hopefully will be down with them this year!

They also send text and email reminders of appointments. I'd like to see a more personal touch from the rest of the staff. Sometimes they don't even explain what they are doing as if I can read their minds or I don't need to know. I am not finished but am thrilled with the results so far and the payment plan is greatly appreciated.

After having braces for 3 years as a kid, I was very frustrated to need orthodontics again as an adult. I first got a quote from a different orthodontist recommended by my dentist and was very upset about the high estimate. He told me I needed a $1,000 at-home device to make my retainers fit tightly, and 4 tooth extractions, on top of the cost of the orthodontic treatment. I found Zaytoun online based on the great reviews and Invisalign track record. I considered them my second opinion. Despite coming into my consultation very emotional after that first estimate, they treated me with respect and professionalism. Dr. Henry was generous with his time and gave me a much more reasonable quote. He even spent another 20 minutes on the phone with me when I called back with more questions after talking to my dentist. So I felt confident when I committed to treatment. I was told to plan for 18 months of Invisalign. 10 months and 2 rounds of trays later, I'm completely done! I did not need any teeth pulled. I did not need to buy some ridiculously overpriced device to vibrate my retainers into place. Instead, they give you free plastic straws to chew on that accomplish the same thing. I've been pain free for about 6 months. Yes, it was expensive, but I saved a lot of money compared to my first estimate and I feel it was a wise investment. The staff are all kind and knowledgeable, from the front desk to the doctors to the team of assistants/hygienists. I even had some insurance billing issues that the finance manager helped resolve. Yes, it's a bummer to need orthodontics. I would have greatly preferred not to need to work with anyone. But if you have to go to someone, go to Zaytoun. I've never been so happy with the outcome of something I dreaded so much...which, if you think about it, is pretty high praise.

My initial consultation with Dr. Laster…read morewas due to an interest in Invisalign after my teeth moved from losing my retainers as a teenager (when they say don't put your retainer in a napkin at a restaurant, it's for good reason...). However, I ended up choosing to do a Laster Perfect Smile (LPS) treatment instead and I am absolutely thrilled with my decision + the results! The LPS treatment is basically the same concept as Invisalign (clear plastic aligners) except they are made on-site and created using a 3-D scanner and printer! It was much more affordable, the quality was much more controlled, and if I broke an aligner (from grinding my teeth in my sleep) then I didn't have to wait for it to be sent to an off-site lab. You can tell Dr. Laster loves what he does and it shows! I will definitely recommend Dr. Laster to anyone I know that needs aligners or braces! Thank you, Dr.L and team!
