This review is long overdue, Bryan and his company absolutely made our wedding, during the busy wedding season of October, an absolute smash hit! The music for our wedding was so important to us. We listen to lots of different music, R&B, rap, old school, line dancing, hard-core, rock, folk..... you name it. We wanted to hear everything. Bryan was able to help us curate the music throughout our entire wedding so every section had a special moment and feel through the music. Because we have such a blend of music, it was really important to me to find a DJ who was able to play all the songs seamlessly and not have it feel like it was a random playlist on shuffle. Bryan executed this perfectly. Everybody danced all night long throughout all the different songs that we played. The dance floor seriously never stopped. The reception was pretty long and Bryan kept the energy going all night long. Even while Bryan was MCing event, he pronounced everybody's name correctly, followed the order in which was discussed between us and our wedding coordinator, we knew exactly what was going to happen and when and it felt so seamless. There was no bumps or hiccups throughout the ceremony or the reception. Everybody was mic'ed correctly and we could hear them clearly. I cannot emphasize enough, that Bryan and cheers Entertainment made our wedding an absolute night to remember. It's been almost 6 months and people still can't stop talking about it! If I need a DJ for any other event whether that be a birthday party or hell even a funeral, I'm calling cheers Entertainment!! read more

We had 70 guests and, like most weddings, we had a very diverse age range so it was important for us that the music be diverse too so that everyone would want to be on the dance floor! Brian was so easy and fun to work with during the planning process. He double checked he had the right version for special songs. He asked questions to understand what we like/don't like, our stance on requests, etc. He even checked in with us after the wedding! My husband and his family are huge Bruce Springsteen fans, so he sprinkled a few of his songs in throughout the night without overdoing it (although I'm not sure that's possible). For our last song of the night, we asked for a very specific version of a song and even asked him to do a silly announcement, which he did and it made for such a fun and memorable ending to the night. He played all the songs we wanted, making them flow perfectly, while working in similar songs that we didn't have on our list, but loved! After the very first call, I knew Brian understood the vibe we were going for and the different guest personalities we anticipated. He truly kept the vibes rocking all night during our wedding! However, he did more than play a selection of music of we picked. He had a really good read on our guests and the dance floor, and he brought a lot of creativity and thoughtfulness. He even made a custom father/daughter song cut for me! I also 10/10 recommend the Photo Booth + digital copies add on. Our guests LOVED the Photo Booth. We heard about Cheers Entertainment from another parent whose kid had them at a school party. Our 5th grade grad party needed an AMAZING DJ who could entertain a wide variety of personality types and also keep the kids engaged throughout the event.... Sure enough, they delivered and then some! I don't know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't what we got. We got SO much more, and the kids still say it was the most "epic" party ever! Wow!! We just hired the best DJ imaginable! Here's why Brian and his team were so amazing: 1. *They listened and catered to our vision*. Prior to the event (a party for our 12-year-old daughter), Brian talked with us at length on 2 or 3 separate occasions to understand exactly what our vision is and what we are all comfortable with. He was very attentive with our daughter, was incredibly easy to talk to, and throughout the whole process we felt really heard and understood. We had a candle-lighting ceremony, and they created a special playlist on the website for us to add songs. He wanted us to have the party *we* wanted. At our event, we got exactly what we had envisioned and more!! 2. *They are wonderful with kids*. Brian's personality was pitch perfect. He was gentle with the little kids and fun with the big kids. DJ Al was also fabulous. During the hour before the event, as our 9-year-old son was hanging out by himself while we sorted out last-minute details with our event coordinator, Al took the initiative to entertain our son for a long while by playing dome hockey with him and teaching him fun tricks. 3. *The speakers sounded amazing and looked great*. The speakers were sleek and futuristic looking, and they focused the music on the dance floor without sounding loud or hurting people's ears. (Before the party we had asked for lower volume and he totally accommodated!) He made it so that you could actually hear great music at a nice volume on the dance floor and comfortably carry on a conversation without yelling or shouting, even if you were standing right next to the dance floor. 4. *The DJ'ing and entertainment were top notch*. They ordered our playlist perfectly, and the timing of the music mixed with games was smooth. Brian was a fabulous MC, very fun for the kids and very conscientious of the safety of the little kids. The crowd really took to him, and our guests were asking for his contact info for their parties. Our event was a huge success and our guests raved about Brian and his team.
