Great location on the side of the road, it could be easily missed but such a great spot for lunch! Grilled cheese sandwiches were all delicious, I shared just a plain grilled cheese with my son and the cheese quality was amazing. You could taste the quality with just a bite. The person who rung us up was nice and informative and the food was quick to be prepared. We sat outside since there is ample seating around and enjoyed our grilled cheese sandwiches and the tasty chips. Lemonade was great! Everything was enjoyed for sure

Combo Lunch! Grilled cheese special, chips, small Farmer's salad, homemade blueberry-raspberry lemonade. Yum!

Oh, such an awesome place to stop for a grilled cheese. I had a buffalo blue cheese special. My wife had one with pulled pork. So good!

I've always wanted to try this place! I didn't know they started here, I only knew about Portsmouth. We got three sandwich's, they were out of Mac and cheese unfortunately. The steak and cheese grilled cheese was the standout, super tasty. The bacon one was a tad bland. The Buffalo chicken was good but needs more spice! They were out of a bunch of items which was kind of a bummer but we enjoyed what we got!

I love a good grilled cheese! I love bacon! I love Vermont cheese! The Baconator had my name all over it. Not gonna lie, though: I was disappointed. That was one skimpy grilled cheese for $12. All bread and little filling. There's no way I could give it five stars. If not for the chips with a great dipping sauce and fresh lemonade? I'd probably only have given three. I'd hesitate to return since the meal was $17.90. Staff is friendly, though and the shack is cute, & right off the Kank.

First off - vegan grilled cheese?! Yum!!! So hard to find a place with a simple vegan grilled cheese. Added tomato and fresh basil. Not sure what the sauce is for the chips. Was afraid to try it incase it had milk in it. My boyfriend loved the meatball special too! $27 for two grilled cheeses....pricey. Worth it though just for the comfort of having a good vegan grilled cheese!!! Will be back for sure.

Home run grilled cheese! Absolutely hit the spot! Server was polite, place was clean, vibes were cool, all the boxes were checked!

A little overpriced but very very good grilled cheese! I like supporting the locals for sure and it's fast and easy! The chips were not homemade but the lemonade was and we all enjoyed that :)

Food was good but personally not worth the money. Chips and sauce were great. It is way cheaper to make a better grilled cheese at home.

The service was great. I had a couple of drinks which were made well. One was essentially a spiked Arnold Palmer, delicious. We had Philadelphia sushi roll for an appetizer, random but fresh and delicious. Then I saw another patron eating wings so I was influenced. Those wings were so good! Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My family also enjoyed their meals. I definitely recommend this spot!

As a nice joke on the name, there is a small hole in the wall that is enclosed that you can see from the outside. The walls are filled with old decorations, TVs, Conway signs and decor. The food was overall good. We started with the Thai salad. It was enormous and comes with pepper, sunflower seeds, cranberry, sunflower seed dried, almonds, and more. This salad was so good that we got it to go the next day! For entrees we got the Texas Tornado sandwich (boneless chicken breast with bacon) and the Surf and Turf Burger. The chicken wasn't dry and the sweet potato fries ($2 upcharge) were good. For the surf and turf, I didn't feel like the lobster blended well with the burger so I took it off and ate it separately. The French fries were finger licking good! Our waitress was really nice and friendly and make some good conversation and recommendations. The wait time for our entrees was a little slow.

I want to start off by saying if someone comes into your establishment 1. Don't assume they are door dashing 2. Treat them like the client before or after them. Once seated it took over 5 mins and two walks past from the server before she even acknowledged me. She comes over ask for my drink order and at no point asks me did I want an appetizer. Also I tried being polite and make conversation by asking which of the bourbons cocktail would she recommend. She immediately gets an attitude and goes well they're all good. I'm like ok. The drink comes and I have to go can I order a couple appetizers. I order them and she never comes and ask me did I want to order an entree. The poutine fries were so soggy and fries weren't even fully cooked. The duck was highly chewy. After 22 mins with my appetizer she finally comes back. I ask why time do you close she goes kitchen closes at 8. It's currently 746, I then ok can I order my entree. I order the grilled Caesar and brink chicken. Not sure why they didn't bring out both at the same time because they immediately brought the salad out and took another 15 for the burnt chicken. The chicken was the most disrespectful thing ever. In what world would you think it's ok to serve that. Then go oh they like to get a crust. Ma'am that was burnt. Then not to even get offered anything instead. I just asked for my bill and left. I honestly felt because I was the only person of color they treated me like I wasn't important at all. I felt disrespected, and like they didn't want me there at all.

VERY BUSY - There was really nowhere to comfortably wait without feeling like you were in they way. We ended up standing outside with the Easter Bunny. LOL The Interior dining near the bar does not have a view. Most larger parties (6+) were on the interior side of the restaurant. Nice ambience with the piano player. They had a nice buffet - breakfast / lunch sweet and savory options. Favorites- Prime Rib Waffles Bacon Sausage Salmon Kitchen provided pancakes and eggs benedict if asked While we waited for our table we got a couple of drinks at the bar and the staff was both nice and funny. They had a funny banter with each other. Host/manager - very stressed but kept her focus and was sincerely thankful for people being patient. It was a bit further away than we anticipated - we were staying by Settlers Green outlets and it was a 15-min drive. But the grounds looked spectacular, even in March (Smarch!) and the White Mountain Resort looks so beautiful. I would definitely look into staying there on a future trip! We loved the restaurant too! Beautiful decor. It is attached to the pub next door (Tuckaway Tavern I think?) - the whole area is open and sort of separated by the piano. I loved that there was a live piano player! Love live music with dinner. The views of the mountains were amazing. Unfortunately there was a glare from the widow glass so we couldn't really see anything when it got dark (cue Boyfriend going on for 10 min about how this could be improved by redesigning the windows on a slanted angle blah blah ). We loved the food too! They offer wine flights which was really interesting. Boyfriend had a Caesar salad and I had the French onion soup to start - best French onion I've had in a while, with quite the cheese pull. Very flavorful. He had the 14 oz steak with fries as main course and I had the lobster mac and cheese. Boyfriend *loved* his choice and was super impressed with the steak, very well cooked with a charcoal-y flavor. My dish had lots of big lobster pieces and was tasty, but a little too "saucy" for my taste. I would try something else next time. We ended the evening with a brownie with ice cream for Boyfriends birthday - our wonderful server Miranda even put a candle on it - she was great all through dinner and very professional. Overall we loved this place! I was a bit apprehensive given the reviews and because I've never been impressed with North Conway dining in general, but the only two negative about this place were the bread served early on (multigrain - we couldn't eat it) and my Mac and cheese being a bit too liquidy. Other than that - perfect evening and we would come back!
