I hired the Chef Adair team for a private 3-course dinner for my bachelorette. We had chef Ryan who exceeded our expectations. Then menu consisted of 1) Comte & Parmesan Cheese Tartelette with Citrus Salad & Crispy Prosciutto, 2) Cabernet Flank Steak Chimichurri & Wild Mushroom, and 3) Flourless Chocolate Torte. All incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The dinner service in itself was elegant and professionally done. We opted in for breakfast the next day which was fresh fruit, bacon & sausage, a vegetable frittata, breakfast potatoes, and croissants- all fresh and easy to reheat. Food, service, presentation, 10/10!!!!

We had so much fun with Chef Nancy! Everything was amazing and we are still dreaming about the delicious food and fabulous service. I can't think of anything that could have been better. We definitely recommend the food and wine course pairing! So happy we selected Chef Adair to be a part of our special night.

Chef Adair's team created a perfect dining experience for our New Year's celebration with friends in Bodega Bay. The collaboration on menu was exciting and the execution of food was perfection. Thanks, Chef David!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with chef Nancy and our server Casey! We used Chef Adair services for a dinner in Bodega Bay for my mom and her twin's 60th birthday and it was the highlight of our 3 day trip! Nancy is warm, friendly, and an excellent chef. Her creativity and passion really stand out. Casey made us feel like queens, we didn't lift a finger and just got to relax and enjoy. The whole process leading up to the event was a breeze with the help of Katherine. I would highly recommend Chef Adair to anyone looking for a personal chef experience. As a side note - add on the charcuterie board to whatever package you choose, you won't be disappointed! We will absolutely be reaching out to them again!

We had a group of 8 of us and were having trouble getting reservations at some of the big name restaurants. We had a friend recommend Chef Adair and decided why not! After a day at the wineries, it was so nice to come home to a cooked meal. The food was delicious, the Chef was amazing and our server was so friendly. We had some amazing and filling food. Would definitely recommend. Was so nice to enjoy wine, good food, good company at the comfort of our friends home.

We hired Park Avenue for the dinner, bar, and dessert which included excellent food, service, and details (spa water!), all of which we received multiple compliments about. Beyond the quality, working with Anthony and the team was so seamless. They were probably the most professional vendor we used, always on top of the timeline and details, but they also approached the process for what it was: having a party! We were able to provide the alcohol, beer and wine, to save a little, and they helped guide us on that too. They were so great, we'd recommend them to anyone.

I really appreciated his expertise and responsiveness throughout the process. The tasting alone was truly a memorable experience and I knew right then I wanted to work with them. Their focus on sustainability sets them apart from most vendors I've come across and was one of the reasons I wanted to support them. The food (everything from the apps to the mains to dessert) on our wedding day was so delicious and intentional. We had our dinner served family style which is something you don't see at most weddings and i'm glad that was an option because it created a more intimate space for guests. The presentation was very important to me and they delivered perfectly. It was also great to hear our guests raving about the food (the tri tip was a fav). Thank you to Anthony and the team for being a part of such a special day and for bringing my vision to life. You are the best!

The buffet was very good, with roast beef with horseradish, grilled chicken with a cream mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, green salad and rolls. A chocolate brownie cake was served for dessert, however, i didn't try it. The setting was warm and elegant with the round tables and black tablecloths. A stage was set up to announce special awards and to honor our fallen and those we lost in the last year. It is pretty certain that the reunion luncheon will continue to be held a Sally Tomatoes, and they have never let us down.

Pick up is a little challenging because they don't answer their phone so I couldn't ask if I should park on the yellow or not. Second, when I walk in there was no one their to greet you or a bell to know if someone was there waiting. There was a group of people sitting down, looks like they're food tasting the owner is one of them. He took awhile to acknowledge me but he saw me walk in. Then proceeded to ask if someone is helping me (not very friendly), no sir, you saw me walk in a bit ago. They need a bell to let know a customer is waiting. I ordered chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan and polenta. Food is good but not sure if it's worth all of that trouble to be a returning customer.

Matt and Patrick were extremely friendly and the food was to die for! We celebrated our microwedding in Mill Valley and I have always selected new restaurants based on yelps top reviewed restaurants. I figured this would be the best way to go to select a catering option for an area we're not local to or able to try before in person. The reviews did not steer us wrong. We would love to book again after experiencing the food and stellar service. Appetizers: We ordered the heirloom tomato bruschetta which was one of my favorites! The tomatoes were fresh and every bite was memorable! The goat cheese croquettes were to die for and the braised pork shoulder had everyone coming back for more! Dinner: I'm not a huge kale person but we had an amazing kale Caesar salad that had me hoping I could recreate it at home. I honestly don't think there was any left over! It was accompanied by the grilled antipasto platter which complemented the lasagna dinner we had perfectly! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection! We had the classic bolognese lasagna and red wine braised boneless beef short ribs for our dinner option which were gone in the blink of an eye. Dessert: To top it off, we finished with the mini amaretto panna cotta and blackberry coulis. They were as delicious as they were aesthetically appealing!

Think twice (or more) and don't do it!…read more A group of four couples (hailing from Michigan to New Mexico) were flying into Napa for a long-planned get-together. We rented a home through VRBO and thought it would be a treat to have a catered meal from Epicurean Escape. The price was over $1000 but seemed well worth it and we paid the bill 10 days prior to our arrival. Unfortunately, if not unbelievably, we were alerted by VRBO the very next day that our contract was being cancelled as the rental house had just been purchased by a new owner. Thinking we might have to cancel the trip as VRBO might not have an alternative (they did not), we immediately contacted the caterer that we would have to cancel plans. This was 9 days prior to the planned dinner. The caterer then informed us that this was beyond their normal 10 day cancellation policy and there was nothing they could do other than a (hold your breath) 25% refund!! provide a 'credit' - a great idea for a group of 8 with most of us living thousands of miles away, or assisting us in relocating to a new venue. We eventually located a hotel where we could stay and proceeded with the trip - still very much disappointed with the caterer for not refunding our money with 9 days prior notice (along with forwarding them the note of cancellation from VRBO). With a $150 delivery fee charged by the caterer for delivery to our hotel, and no way for us to warm the food in our rooms, we anticipated the meal would arrive on serving trays with sterno heaters. But of course not.. The server who delivered the food was very nice and accommodating (we tipped them as well even though the paid contract already included an 18% gratuity fee). We began eating immediately, only to find all the food (fish and beef main courses) at room temperature. Perhaps everything would have tasted better had it been heated, but classifying the meal as 'mediocre' would be overly kind. Making matters worse (if that's possible), we have been promised a 'final' contract as three of the planned attendees could not attend, and the caterer agreed to 'adjust', only to never hear back from them almost 2 weeks later. Inflexible policy + less than thrilling meals = at least in my book, an experience worth avoiding at all costs. Caveat emptor.

Outstanding Catering Experience with Up In Smoke BBQ…read more Up In Smoke was recommended to me by my girlfriend who lives in the Sebastopol area, where she's tried their food multiple times. Although Rob, the owner, generously offered a tasting session before a few catering jobs in Novato, my schedule was too hectic. I took a leap of faith and booked them to cater my husband's 50th birthday--and I'm so glad I did! The food was absolutely off the hook. From the moment they pulled up their 20-foot BBQ rig in front of my house, it was an experience. They set up tables, provided linens, and had 3-4 people BBQing on-site, which really added to the party's vibe. My guests loved chatting with them as they came in. The honey butter and bread were so flavorful, and the chicken was incredibly juicy. Being Italian, I was initially skeptical about the pasta salad, but it exceeded expectations. And as someone who's never been a fan of baked beans, theirs completely converted me. All future beans will have to measure up! What really impressed me was how seamless the entire service was, from set-up to clean-up. They made the entire event feel effortless, and the pricing was very reasonable. I couldn't recommend them more--top-notch food and service. Thanks Rob and team!!!
