It's August 2021, how does this place only have 5 reviews. This place is Excellent! Right now they…read moreare still doing the order online and pickup outside. Didn't realize that when I showed up but that's on me for not checking. Also didn't know that the Ribs and Brisket were specials on Thursdays only. So my first time around the only real BBQ that kind of matched what I wanted was a BBQ Sundae which I usually hate. Also the sundae had a choice of a Base and one of those choices was mac and cheese which I got ... but Mac and Cheese wasn't available as just a Side ... I don't know what was going on there. Also the second time I went in they told me that the Ribs were on Special on Thursday And Friday, Brisket was now Everyday, This and that on That Day, But that and This on those two days ... All Im saying that I was told something different than what I read on their online menu, So CALL and ASK! So my BBQ Sundae came in an oversized Chinese Take Out container and it was classic. Slaw and Pickles on top, pickles were awesome! Pulled pork in the middle and Mac on the bots. Pickles were like bread and butter style but had a bit of a fun heat kick to them. Slaw was super colorful and seasoned like crazy, not my favorite slaw personally, a very dilly type of slaw but I can see a lot of other people liking it. It's definitely made well. Pulled pork looked a bit more like burnt ends to me, some parts were tough but most of it was soft and moist and tasted good, good amount of sauce. Really didn't want to eat all the slaw and pork to get to the mac so I tried to brush that stuff away, but the sauce got all over the mac so I had to keep brushing it away till I reached the very bottom. And then I got to the real Mac and it was REALLY REALLY GOOD! Gritty Sauce, Black Pepper Seasoning with Other Great Spices almost like a cool ranch kick to it. It was easily in the top 5 best Mac and Cheese of New England. Second visit I got Ribs, looked incredible, good amount of meat on them, not too slathered in sauce. Meat was just soft enough and still juicy, meat was smoked perfectly so that the flavors of both the smoke and pork were still there. Rub was a tiny bit on the sweeter side, not a crazy amount of the rub, although it looked like there was. Sauce itself was on the sweet side too. Very good ribs Brisket had a great amount of Bark on it, looked a bit dry for me, a bit more like tough jerky parts. At least the bark was that nice black pepper rub taste like any great Brisket Rub is supposed to taste like. Had a part with no bark and it was a bit dry, not that smokey, came with a cup of BBQ sauce but the ribs didn't for some reason. Brisket seemed like it might have been smoking for a bit too long. So much flavor in the bark you have to eat that bark with the beef. "OMG" Grits. These are like cheese infused grits and probably some of the best grits I've ever had too. This was practically a dessert it was so good. I could just say white cheddar and something else with some butter and salt. Whatever the hell they have in them it's legit "OMG" BBQ Beans had a LOT going on. 3 different beans, Bell peppers, Onions, garlic. It was Extremely BBQy, to me I think this stuff belongs on top of something like rice or pulled pork or in a burrito or something. It shouldn't be on it's own, there is just so much flavor it's like a sauce that hasn't had the ingredients blended into a sauce yet. It's very good though, just very powerful on its own. Almost like a fun sweet heat banana pepper going on. Cornbread cube came wrapped in Saran wrap which usually means it was made awhile ago. Couldn't taste any sweetness, nothing special at all but that's okay. Potato Salad. Not overly seasoned, cooked perfectly as they break apart in the mouth super easy, red bliss style, tiny tiny kick, celery and red onion, just great traditional potato salad. Chocolate Ganache. I just got it cause it said it was low in stock. This looked like a twinkie made out of a tougher chocolate mouse. If you are addicted to chocolate you will love this thing. Strawberry or Raspberry sauce all over it, so powerful. Buckeye Brownies ... Good Lord YES! Rich chocolate brownie, Peanut Butter Mouse, Chocolate Ganache fudge top. Yes Yes yes YES! So really my only complaints are the communication on the online ordering, the beans being a bit too powerful but still amazing, and the brisket not meeting my own standards of what extremely good brisket is supposed to be. And on our second visit, Charcoal Charlie was loading up his trailer with food to bring to the Free Movie Night at Fuller Park right down the street. He was a cool dude! Definitely going back, this place might be in the top 10 best BBQ joints in New England.

The food is "good enough" for me to give it another shot, so I'll update this review next time I…read moreeat there. There's room for improvement. 1. Mac n Cheese: B+. Pretty decent, good flavor. I only know this because I tried my friend's. I ordered some, but I got mac salad in my order. I think the mac n cheese would do a little better with a creamier cheese sauce. Good chefs hate it, but the fact is that Velveeta makes a creamy basic sauce that can be doctored without limits to greatness for the application. 2. Mac salad: B+. It's pretty basic mac salad, no surprises. The pasta was a little al dente, though. I suspect that the dressing was perfect when they made it, but over a few hours the al dente noodles soaked up whatever moisture they could, leaving a dried out dressing. The remedy for this is to re-mix the batch with a little water, or buttermilk for extra points. 3. Potato salad: B+. This is a good, basic potato salad. No surprises. 4. Creamy slaw: A+. GREAT! SLAW! This is almost like my slaw, and I'm picky about my slaw. 5. Regular slaw: A. Bright and fresh flavored slaw. This slaw screams "put me on a killer California Reuben!". 6. BBQ beans: D. Insanely good sauce. Beans heavily undercooked. Insanely good sauce. Fix these, and I will eat them by the half-gallon. 7. Brisket: A. Solid brisket, great smoke, perfect cook. 8. Spare ribs: A. Good and smokey, falling off the bone (but the cartilage hangs on, which makes them perfect in my book). 9. Pork roast: A. I'm not sure what cut was used here, but it's a great cut for this purpose. Moist and flavorful and very smokey. 10. Pulled chicken: A++. Next to what the beans *could be* and what the creamy slaw is, this chicken is an absolute all-star. Whew! Wicked smokey, super moist, pure heaven. I could eat piles of this chicken! 11. "Kicker" sauce: sweet and delicious BBQ sauce. I have a feeling, after the beans and this sauce, that sauces are this place's strong suit. Truly great stuff. Summary: this place has some easily fixable problems. Easily fixable. Mere adjustments, and I can't wait to try them out again and bump this up to 5 stars.

Really want to give this more like a 3.7 but it's hard to give a real honest review on food trucks…read more Looking at the few other pictures posted here I can tell that some days are a little better than others, probably not by too much but still. Seems like these guys are usually parked in the parking lot of Froggs Brewery in Marlborough NH. Frogg's has a few snack food items themselves but these guys are there on weekends, or at least most weeks at the moment. Check their facebook page for updates. It was nice to chill at Froggs too while we ate, grabbed a watermelon beer to wash it all down, pretty darn good. Their regular and spicy BBQ sauces were very good to taste. Obviously some minced garlic and some chili flakes for seasoning in each of them. More thick than I like though, probably typical sauce texture almost anyone would expect but I've come to appreciate the more runny vinegar authentic style sauces. Sweet Maple BBQ Sauce was excellent! Not as much minced stuff in it as the others and I don't know if I'd guess it was Maple flavored if I didn't know. More of like a pineapple sweetness to it, but it's actually really good. Pulled pork was almost perfect! Definitely cooked in a sauce at least for a little while but it was still distinctly the great natural taste of pork. Wasn't till I got to the bottom and tasted a giant slab of fat disguised as regular pulled pork (hate it when that happens) but the rest of it was some of the best pulled pork I've ever had. Ribs are smoked like crazy, almost all the meat was red and delicious. Meat doesn't fall off all over the place, texture was pretty good if anything it was a tiny bit on the tougher side but still easy enough to chew. I could taste the seasoning rub on it well enough but it still wasn't that powerful. Sausage was good, definitely the type that fits better as a sausage and peppers and onions sandwich. Lot of that smokey redness to it, very enjoyable. Brisket looked drier than it actually was but still not as juicy as I particularly like them to be. Tougher cut of Brisket, not as flavorful as I'd hoped, the fatty part had a little bit of seasoning flavor to but not much. Brisket was still okay, too many different types of Brisket out there to judge accurately. Chicken was smoked very well and tasted great too, especially with some of that Maple sauce! Hate to say it was a teeny bit on the dry side though but still very yummy. Can't say much about the seasoning on the skin though, not much flavor their at all. I appreciate that the Cole slaw is vinegar based. I prefer that over the mayo based stuff (unless it's super tasty). Didn't pack a ton of flavor though, but it got the job done. Beans were Black beans and Kidney beans in a sorta sweet and savory type of sauce. I really liked the flavor and the beans were cooked well enough but the sauce was very drippy. Not that that's a terrible thing but I'm just use to baked beans that hold onto a lot of that gravy. The beans I had here just kinda felt like they were 2 beans boiled down with some mildly sweet brown sugar juice. But as I said, flavor alone the beans were actually very tasty. Mac and Cheese is Ziti pasta with a blend of cheeses that haven't had the right amount of time to become gooey yet. Ziti really could have been boiled for about 5 minutes longer because it was still tough. Cheese din't have much taste to it and it felt more like a gritty cheesy paste wrapped around the pasta. Not sure what the deal is with this Ziti substitute, this is like the eight place I've been to that does it and it's really getting old but if you have a good cheese recipe then I guess it don't matter what the pasta is, but for some reason none of these ziti places have had it that good. Cornbread is a small cube of yellow cake. Wasn't cornbread at all. Not complaining about the yellow cake, it's yummy enough, but it A'int no damn corn bread.

Such delicious food, wonderful tea, and a really lovely set-up. I liked it so much that I thought of them to cater my mother's 60th birthday party. They came to the house, brought flowers, decorations, everything, really, and made the party memorable. My mom was thrilled and the party was really wonderful. Everyone loved the food (the scones with clotted cream and hat cookies were my favorite) and the house looked amazing with plants and flowers brought inside as it was raining. Really great company and amazing events. Thanks, ladies!

While many companies have been more than understanding with clients and providing refunds at some agreed percentage, including wedding venues, it was unfortunate one of my girlfriends did not have experience that with private chef, Maureen. Instead of offering sympathy, Maureen instead declared the deposits were non-refundable (this was no where stated in the contracted) and since the notice was given less than 30 days, she was not obligated to refund at any measure (another policy that was no where stated in the contract or her website). While my friend continued to try and work with her, Maureen had went on to call her, "entitled", "close-minded" and "immature." I don't think it's immature to want to keep a group of people, including Maureen, safe from the virus. Telling us our only option is to reschedule within a 90 mile radius when we have no idea when this pandemic will end is not helpful. I've been in the hospitality industry for year and I've had a handful of clients actually yell in my face. In no situation would i EVER respond in such a such a way. I was speechless and incredibly disappointed. Many of us are faced in financial hardships but what I've always found to be true is you need to give in order to get. Would not recommend by any means.
