French toast with home fries, and bacon
    Carmella P.

It's food you can make at home. And honestly, you could make it better at home. Everyone there was grumpy. We did get there 30 minutes before closing. And they were already turning away customers. I ordered French toast with raspberries and whipped cream and they gave me actual FROZEN raspberries. They were not thawed and put in sugar like normal people. They gave me frozen berries on top of my Lukewarm French toast! And the French toast was bland. My cousin ordered the Irish Benedict and the corn beef hash was chewy like beef jerky. And our potatoes were cold. It's like they were sitting in a bucket outback, and they didn't even reheat it for us. I had to go up to the counter to get my receipt so we could leave because waitors kept walking by us. The only thing that was good was my hot chocolate, and that was most likely a packet of Swiss mix. it's like sitting in grandmothers dining room except not as special or inviting.the prices aren't even worth what they give you!

This place is decent. It's the local food joint. Post and beam interior. The menu has affordably priced options, mostly typical American fare. Friendly staff and clientele. If you're in the area it won't disappoint, but it's not a destination.

We had lunch here today. We all had fish n chips. It came with Cole slaw. We also ordered a large order of onion rings to go with it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! It is very clean and very cozy. It's not a huge place but the tables are set up so that you don't feel overcrowded. The decor is really nice and the chairs are super comfy. Our waitress, Lana, was extremely friendly and very helpful. Our haddock was cooked perfectly and the seasoning on the fries was really good. They informed us that the fish is fresh and it was! The coleslaw was also very good. I don't know if they make their own tartar sauce or not but it was very yummy. My dad and I love to dip our fries in tartar sauce. The onion rings with Crispy and oh so good. The prices here are very reasonable. I saw someone and another table eating chicken tenders and they looked really good so I might try that next time. I hope you give it a try.

Ok LOVED this local joint! Food was affordable, plentiful, locally sourced and 100% homemade. Staff was beyond friendly, genuinely happy we were there. Here's an example, told waitress I had a crown which popped out earlier that day she suggested two local dentists. Strangely ran into the same waitress two day's later at another restaurant she approached me and asked about my tooth!

Cute place near green field state park. Coffee was amazing! We ordered a side of sausage patty(came with 2 patties)veggie omelette (loaded with cheese, spinach, onions, peppers and tomatoes). It came with buttered toast and home fries. Overall I would rate the service(sweet lady), ambience and food as five stars! ! Thanks for making our day with good breakfast good lady

Chairs are old and fit the theme of the restaurant, but they're rather uncomfortable.

Leo's Bar & Grill opened in May 2025 in the former Main Street Grill & Bar in Hillsboro…read more(Hillsborough) in front of the Angus Lea Golf Course. They serve lunch, dinner and drinks. The food offerings are similar to its predecessor serving up traditional American pub fare offering a selection of appetizers, salads, handhelds, burgers, steaks, chicken, pork, seafood dishes, plenty of pasta/saute dishes, and desserts. The prices here are reasonable, most entrees $15-$29, steaks up to $36. I stopped by after work for dinner on a very hot Tuesday evening. The place was not busy at all due to the excessive heat outside. There are wooden stairs to climb to get to the restaurant entrance. There is the dining room to the right of the bar with tables and booths. There is also outside patio deck seating overlooking the golf course. The bar area has a few high top tables nearby, TVs above the bar. The full service bar offers 12 beers on tap, wine, cocktails, and mixed drinks. I sat myself at an empty high chair up at the bar. I was given a menu and got an ice water. I already had my mind made up on what I wanted since I already looked over the menu on their Facebook page. For a starter, the Mussels ($16 plus tax) was comprised of around 25-27 steamed mussels in a white wine broth. It was a bit messy to eat and toast points would've completed this starter. I requested a spoon which was beneficial to enjoying the broth. For dinner, the Eggplant Parm ($17 plus tax) was served in a very hot casserole dish with thin slices a breaded eggplant topped with melted mozzarella cheese, modest amount of marinara sauce over thin spaghetti. This baked pasta dish was quite good. After I was done, I passed on dessert and got the check which was $34.56 with tax and before tip. Overall, a good dinner in the Hills despite being in extremely hot weather. I would come back to sit out on the patio deck when it's a bit cooler outside and enjoy more of their food offerings including their fried seafood and other saute dishes.

They were good, but there were only 12 of them, not nearly enough for the 16$ price. In a previous review someone said they got 25-27. Will go back to try some other items tho.

We started with some cocktails and the cheese curds, for Andres we had the Smashburger and an order of duck tacos. We do come toting along with a six-year-old so with a lack of a kids menu or a simpler eats, we went with the cheese flatbread (note to anybody reading it comes without sauce. It is literally cheese on a flatbread). We can't fall places for not being kid friendly, but it would've been awesome to have even just a grilled cheese option, but that's our problem for another day. Sadly, it will limit when we can plan our future visit visits. The service was great, friendly and attentive, in the ambience, cozy and warm. I travel quite a bit and my husband did deem this a place that "I could come and sit at the bar when I'm by myself " So personally, the only thing I would say is they could use a few more smaller plates that could thicken as child, friendly entrées... or just add a tad bit more options into the mix.

Very approachable menu with a few sections but a handful of options in each section. From the starters section, we shared the duck wings and the fried cheese curds. Surprisingly, a lot of duck featured on the menu. Not something I typically see at a casual taphouse. Duck wings were great. Ultra crispy and card with mandarin wedges for a perfect compliment. The fried cheese curds came out piping hot. Some of them seemed to pop and the cheese oozed out leaving some hollow curds. The ones that maintained their integrity and contained the cheese were superb. We shared the Korean fried chicken sandwich as our main. Super crispy and vinegar forward. Came with spiraled potato wedges which was an ideal accompaniment for a few beers. Service was quick and accommodating. Food came out quickly too. A couple TVs to catch an event. Great spot!

This cozy space has table seating along the walls and seating up at the full service bar. There is dog related country decor and a digital jukebox. There is also another informal dining room across the hall. This new "Big Dog" pub in Deerfield is not to be confused with "Big Dog" eats in Milford and "Big Dawg's" eatery in Haverhill (Bradford) MA. The breakfast menu offers a selection of egg dishes, omelets, pancakes, French toast, waffles, breakfast sandwiches and sides. The lunch/dinner menu offers a selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, paninis, burgers, flatbreads, pizzas, chicken entrees, pasta, and seafood. They have switched from standard fries to hand cut fries. There are posted specials on the board. The bar offers limited draft beers, beer bottles/cans, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. The prices seem fair and they offer happy hour 3-5pm. I stopped by Big Dog Pub for dinner recently during the week. I was greeted and told I could sit at any open table I'd like. The seating at the bar was busy, so I sat at an open metal table next to the bar. The server brought over a menu to look over. I decided on the Fish & Chips special ($16 plus tax) and the Sweet Sausage Sautee ($15 plus tax). Both entrees came out together in 17 minutes. The portions were good on both. The fish & chips were very hot, crispy coating on the outside, tartar sauce on the side. The hand cut fries were firm and tasty. The shredded creamy cole slaw was sweet & tangy. The sautee dish had a mix of al dente cavatappi pasta tossed in a light cream tomato sauce with peppers, onions, small sausage bits and shaved parmesan cheese. I managed to finish both entrees and got the check with Toast QR code which was $33.64 with tax and before tip. The internet is very weak in this part of Deerfield, so had to pay the normal way. Overall, I enjoyed a great filling meal at Big Dog Pub. I will have to return here for breakfast!
