I have NEVER had such a terrible experience with a business before. Absolute garbage program. This…read moreclass cost $177 a month (for 3 classes) and my kid has learned diddly squat and the portions of food he makes and comes home with is laughable. My kid has made pancakes (didn't pour them or cook them), no-bake cookie bites and "moose crunch". The pancakes he came back with were two cookie cutter size pancakes. There was 4 small No-Bake cookie bites. The moose crunch was literally Cheerios and a little bit of marshmallows and m&m candies in a snack size bag. There was no cooking whatsoever, he's done nothing but assemble ingredients and wash dishes. So he's come back home with $0.60 worth of ingredients. A $177 class! There is ZERO communication from this person. I got ONE email from her the entire time we were registered and it states they're going to charge parents for being late and will charge parents for takeaway boxes. This lady is LATE EVERY CLASS and she always ends the class early! Today was the ONE class my kids were to attend because SHE cancelled 2 of the 3 classes for the month so we got there at 10:00, as it says in the ONE email I got, and the lady at reception told me the class was moved to 9:30! This lady didn't bother emailing or calling or texting that there was a time change! I paid $352 for my two kids to NOT ATTEND EVEN ONE CLASS, and you better believe she doesn't bother reimbursing! I really wanted to love this program, my son absolutely loves cooking but WOW, I have never encountered such an unprofessional business ever. Don't waste your money, don't waste your time, you will be disappointed and what's worse, your kids will be disappointed.

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration…read more We recently decided to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary with a family dinner party and to mark the occasion with something truly special: hiring a private chef for the very first time. This turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. Immediately after contacting Chef Camille Jeanty, her calm professionalism and genuine warmth immediately put us at ease. She took the time to understand our vision for the evening and even did a walkthrough to familiarize herself with our home and setup. She then created a stunning menu that perfectly matched our preferences, including a separate menu for our young grandkids! The evening was magical... every course was delicious with a real standout being the handmade Pappardelle Alfredo which prompted several requests for seconds! It was such a wonderfully relaxed, unhurried meal ... just what our "Italian vision" had imagined! What truly set this experience apart was Camille's individualized touch offering her bespoke dinnerware, beautifully curated flower centerpieces from a local Napa Farmer and even including a lovely, printed menu for each of our guests. It is also worth mentioning that Camille's well-trained staff were extremely personable as well as attentive! Our guests were raving, and we felt so pampered and celebrated. If you are considering a private chef for a special occasion, we wholeheartedly recommend Chef Camille Jeanty and her wonderful staff. Truthfully, they felt like family, and we gave them 5 Stars from start to finish! They helped turn our golden anniversary into a golden memory!

I reached out to book a farm cooking experience for a bachelorette weekend. From the start, there…read morewere red flags -- she missed our confirmed initial call entirely, and rather than reaching out to me, I had to call her myself. When she picked up, she explained she had just returned from a workout. During that call, I clearly communicated that our group would be staying at a hotel and would need an on-site venue -- not an option, a requirement. Despite this, I had to reiterate it again in a later email, suggesting she wasn't tracking the basic details of our event. Camille is really personable and kind-- I just felt like there was a lack of professionalism. After multiple email exchanges and weeks of back and forth, she sent a pricing breakdown on June 19th acknowledging she still needed to confirm farm availability -- while simultaneously letting me know I needed to sign a contract and submit a deposit by June 26th. I had already shared the experience with my group and gotten everyone excited. On June 24th, today, she informed me the farm had been booked and was unavailable. I want to address that respectfully. I confirmed the date and guest count with her over the phone during our very first call June 1st-- and reiterated both again in writing on June 19th. At that point, she had everything she needed to check availability. The farm wasn't contacted until June 23rd. I understand that securing a third-party venue has its challenges, and I have no doubt she works hard. But had the farm been contacted when she first had the date and headcount, we would have known much sooner and I wouldn't have shared the experience with my group prematurely. I wish her all the best and hope this feedback is helpful going forward.

For a venue that is more expensive than other options, the value simply isn't there. Here are the main issues we encountered: 1) Strict "No Outside Food" Policy vs. Actual Food Provided: Their website explicitly discourages outside food, stating, "As our parties include plenty of food for the kiddos... outside food is unnecessary and discouraged." Because of this, we trusted them and didn't bring extra snacks. However, the actual food took quite a long time to prepare, and the only snack provided in the meantime was a single small bowl of pretzels per table. The kids were absolutely starving. When one table finished theirs, a staff member brought out more pretzels seeing they were hungry--only for him to find out after that they were strictly limited to one bowl, and the employee simply hadn't known the rule. When the other table ran out they weren't allowed to get extra pretzels! 2) We paid an extra $37 for premixed lemonade (which tasted like a standard powder mix). The kids were restricted to just one small cup each. They were still thirsty afterward, but they were cut off from the lemonade and could only get tap water after that. 3) This is a cooking environment where the kids are constantly using their hands to handle food. I fully expected the very first step of the party would be to make sure the kids washed their hands. Shockingly, not once did the staff line the kids up or instruct them to wash their hands before they started preparing and touching the ingredients. 4) We wanted to have an ice cream cake and they were unwilling to let us borrow freezer space for a small cake, stating that they did not have room. We know other cooking venues allow this and allowed an even bigger sheet cake. So were surprised that this cooking venue wouldn't have space in the freezer for a small ice cream cake. It was just an inconvenience as we had to go get the cake during the party. 5) To top it off, the tip must be paid fully in advance.

7/27/25 Zach…read moresurprised me with a ramen cooking class at The Story of Ramen. I lovvvve ramen (and noodles in general) so I was ecstatic for this experience. The Story of Ramen is located in the Mission so parking was a little tricky. We got to the general area 20 minutes before so that we could get a decent parking spot. We did the 4 hour advanced workshop where we learned about how to prepare the broth, marinated eggs, chasiu pork, tare seasoning and how to make the ramen. For that day, there were 5 other pairs. Our teachers Manville and Jeff, guided us through every step of the arduous process of making the perfect bowl of ramen. The workshop started off with a lecture about the history of ramen and the creation of The Story of Ramen. Of all the tasks we did, my favorite was making the ramen itself. After learning in detail how much work goes into making ramen, I appreciate ramen more than I ever did before. This was a great team building activity and something new for us. I highly recommend this and of course you get to eat the bowl of ramen you make at the end of the workshop!
