The lamb chops were very delicious. The mashed potatoes were good but had something like small popcorn kernels on top which made it difficult to eat. Not expecting that and you couldn't chew it. I believe it actually came from the lamb chops that were placed on top of the potatoes. I also ordered the lemon pepper wings and received half-cooked Hennessy wings I guess because there was no lemon pepper taste. The peach egg rolls were okay, the dough didn't seem to be cooked long enough/doughy. I was in line at 233p, ordered at 350p, and I received text that order was ready at 540p. Overall, I would purchase the lamb chops again without hesitation. The food is too costly to have hits and misses especially when I've waited 3 hours; another 5 minutes to ensure chicken and dessert were cooked to standards would not have mattered to me. They offered a 10% discount because they started over 40 minutes late. It was 96 degrees outside, I got sunburned-not prepared for the long wait. People at the front of the line started to leave after an hour in line because no food was going out, they complained about late start, slowness and food not ready-all valid concerns, I waited over 3 hours in the sun and as a senior citizen that was too long to be sweating/standing. I would rate the lamb chops 5/5; mashed potatoes were good but I had to keep spitting out the kernel like substance 3/5; the wings were not what I asked or paid for but had a sweet taste/yet raw chicken and blood on bone 2.5/5; doughy peach egg rolls were sweet 3/5...I don't want to give an overall rating of 3/5 as the food if cooked properly would have easily been a 5/5 and my bias for the lamb chops makes me rate on a curve with 4/5. read more

3+ Hour Wait, Burnt Steak Sold as Oxtail, and $80 Down the Drain I try to support small businesses whenever I can--I've even personally worked with this team on their food truck in the past, so y'all know I extend plenty of grace. But this experience was beyond ridiculous. Here is how it went down: The Setup & Delays: The first day, they sold out in an hour and told everyone to come back the next day for 20% off. We came back. They posted they'd open at 2:00 PM, pushed it to 3:00 PM, and didn't even show up until after 4:00 PM. Once they finally arrived, we stood in line for another 45 minutes before the truck door even opened. The Long Wait: After finally ordering, I waited almost 3 hours just to get my food. The Food & Portion Sizes: I spent $80 total on straight trash. I ordered the "oxtail" Rasta pasta for $35. What I received came in what looked like a tiny 6-ounce container with barely 20 noodles--it looked like a kid's meal. The Quality: When I picked up the "oxtail," I realized it wasn't oxtail at all--it was grilled, burnt steak. The pasta sauce was sweet, super greasy, and tasted nothing like actual Rasta pasta. There was literally grease pooled at the bottom of the bowl. Unedible. Wasting half my day and spending $80 for burnt steak and greasy noodles is unacceptable. Everyone has an off night...but, our recent private dining experience with Chef Benjamin was nothing short of disastrous. The evening began poorly when Chef Benjamin arrived late, setting a tone of unprofessionalism that would characterize the entire night. The ingredients were visibly subpar (incredibly small scallops, choice beef, store brand BBQ sauce, canned peaches, and canned whipped cream), clearly hastily purchased from a budget market. The resulting dishes were simultaneously cold and very overcooked, a culinary contradiction that speaks to disorganization and poor timing. Ironically, the same canned products were found on the shelf of a convenience store the following morning. Even though the grill was less than 100 feet from the table, every meal was served cold. One of our guests chose to microwave her dinner. Once this was brought to the sous chef's attention, Chef Benjamin decided to place dinner plates directly on the hot grill. This led to two plates shattering, creating both a safety hazard and an embarrassing disruption. Not having enough plates, two guests were served on plastic serving trays. Most frustratingly, due to the chef's inability to time preparations properly, our party of eight ended up eating independently rather than sharing the communal dining experience we had paid for. When confronted about these issues, the chef displayed a shocking level of arrogance and defensiveness. Rather than acknowledging the numerous shortcomings, Chef Benjamin pointed to our empty plates as "proof" of satisfaction--apparently mistaking our hunger and politeness for enjoyment. This belligerent reaction to reasonable feedback demonstrated not only a lack of professionalism but an absence of the fundamental service mindset required in the culinary profession. I suspect his sous chef, who seemed to be very competent, was completely embarrassed by his behavior. What was meant to be a special evening became an incredibly overpriced and expensive lesson in how one individual's incompetence and poor attitude can thoroughly ruin a dining experience. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how completely Chef Benjamin and his "experience" failed to deliver on even the most basic expectations of a private dining service. Diner beware. read more

Worst service I have ever had!! Chef is very arrogant and unapologetic. He took time during our dinner to give a speech on his bio. He was hour and a half late told me he couldn't do anything about traffic but he said all of my guest should have been on time to eat. Booked for 25 people and not everyone got food and he continued to argue "he had enough food" even after acknowledging everyone didn't get everything that was on the menu. Shrimp and grits was one of the options chosen and he said he burned grits so he omitted them off the menu and stated he plated the food instead to make up for not having grits. Chef said he couldnt remake the grits because he was rushing. His sous chef was serving food with a paper towel and no gloves during a pandemic. They didn't have any utensils. The sous chef left to go get gloves while he continued to cook. When I brought these things to his attention, he stated that he has millionaire clients that have never complained and of 400 events, all of them had been perfect! He then went on to announce his 100k salary and that "these things happen." He took no accountability! Now the food we did have wasn't just nasty, it was cold and incomplete. I have been here for over 20 years and i can assure him that he is not. He is unprofessional ad arrogant is an understatement. I was going to hire him for a large party for my mother. Be never callwd back wiht a proposed menu or pricing. He has very BASIC culunary skills based in his many post, her he is attempting to charfe $900 for sinner parties of two. He keeps throwing our Gordan Ramsey's name as if he works directly with Mr. Ramsey. He worked FOR Gordon, not with him.
