They are very professional, polite and patient whoever we're choosing items for our family's gift. My family loved their products too. We chose fresh sourdough bread, goat cheese with truffles, and another with figs and honey. Sounds yummy. A tasty white wine to go with the bread and cheese is a great accompaniment. Thank you AnneBeth. I appreciate you for having this establish for all. And it's all priced fairly. I'll be back and will tell friends and family about our experience. Marcia M.

East to find with street parking right across the street. The space is small, but they have a decent cross section of wine, beer and harder stuff. If you're thinking booze warehouse you will be disappointed, but if you prefer more human scale, you can find happiness with Annebeth. We needed a six pack for our dinner at a local crab house. We were able to select a mix and match half dozen of their mostly local brews, which our lovely shopkeeper was able to put together with transferable can clips into one unit. There appears to be other things for sale in the way of snacks and light lunches, but we didn't pay much attention to them. We knew we would be stuffed with Maryland Blues, chowder and key lime pie that night and were saving our appetites until then. It was cool to buy our night's beverages in a shop that might have been selling grog and heavy ales for the last 250 years!

Swear, this place gives you the Willy Wonka vibes...the 70s version, not that Johnny Depp movie. My…read morekid, well, he was literally a kid in a candy store! He's 8 years old and his eyes couldn't have gotten any bigger. I mean, when I finally let him loose and said, "Grab a bucket and fill it with all the gummies you want." He didn't know where to start. So of course, I had to help him! lol It is pretty pricey, so be careful what you buy. I have never been in this place before, so I wanted to try different chocolates, rice crispy treat bars, and different flavor gummy bears. Do yourself a favor and don't buy those rice crispy treat bars, they're gross. If you go to the back of the store where the giant gummy bear is, just get the bucket/jar and fill it up! It's worth it if you love candy. I plan on going back one more time before I head home to Hawaii; when I do I'm going straight for those gummy section. I might go back and get some of the chocolates, or spend a little extra on some chocolate truffles...it's just really expensive. I'll update this review with prices when I go back this week. But overall, it was a nice experience.

I bought two tins of gummy bears and a few more in plastic bags. The price was about $100! I gasped and almost choked. This is price gouging IMO. Just awful.

Bottom line up front: this place is a clean and well stocked grocery store…read more I have to admit after reading through a few of the negative comments I see about Safeway I am surprised. I have been going to this particular Safeway since the Shoppers in Annapolis closed over a year ago. Yes sometimes the prices are a little bit more expensive than the other less expensive grocery stores, but it appears that the products are fresh and the prices are reasonable. Let's make one thing clear it's not Wagmans or any specialty store, it is a good old fashion grocery store with an meat market, bakery, and produce department. You won't find many exotic products, but you will find the necessities always seem to be in stock and available. During the Covid crisis part one toilet paper was running low everywhere, this particular Safeway seem to find a way to keep toilet paper in the hands of its value customers. I can understand how some of the employees may not look totally excited to be at work, it is a rough job with limited appreciation from customers and poor pay from corporate America. But let's give them a break they are doing the best they can. Thank them once in awhile, they have gotten us through this pandemic.
