Out of curiosity why everyone who i noticed eating a burrito so awkwardly. It turns out that you…read morecan't eat these burritos without dripping into your clothes or hands. I even tried eating it with a fork which led to picking out all the inners. Overpriced for just rice, beans, and a protein. I had ordered the pork and it was good but needed to be roasted/braised more. I took one bite and all the pork pulled out of the burrito. A bit disappointed and awkwardly realizing that everyone else eating a burrito was possibly doing the same. It probably would have been a better fit if there was a burrito bowl option. I do have to say that the salsa had a nice little heat to it.

I was rooting for these guys so hard, given all the local and organic ingredients they use. I got a Super (supreme), which was supposed to have the addition of avocado, sour cream and cheese. The sour cream and cheese were forgotten from the burrito entirely (I even asked for extra sour cream as I was excited to try it - they boasted that it was homemade with Cruze farm dairy). 6 other people in our group also had the sour cream and cheese forgotten from their Super after the price hike. The avocado was a simple smearing on the tortilla. For my protein, I got the chile chicken, which lacked much flavor or heat. I couldn't really see any discernible seasonings in the meat, aside from a few chile slices. My burrito was 80% refried beans, and had only a small spoonful of the chicken pushed to only one end of the burrito. Every bite was tortilla and beans, so I just opened to tortilla and ate the insides, ha! Walked away feeling hungry and jipped. :(

We also got the corn salsa and the habernaro salsa, which were both delicious. They were at the South Side garage when we found them, so we got some kombucha and an old fashioned that did not disappoint. Cody was manning the truck that day and he was so friendly, helpful and knew all about how to veganize their food and made any necessary adjustments. He even came into the garage to double check on preparation for us. He gave us service that was exceptional. The food was delicious and we need to find CM again stat! Loved the location and the ambiance of the Garage as well. The one downside is that the "location" calendar was a little hard to use since I wasn't familiar with some of the places listed on it and didn't know where those places were since there weren't address on many of the listings. But, I'm sure that's a software issue they have no control over. If you see the truck, stop! It's worth a visit.
