They showed up a little early to get set up and prepared. He did bring a lot of his own dishes and cookware. They were very kind to everyone but also focused on their craft. We had 4 courses. She was quick to respond to my questions before the event. Chef Rose greeted us at the door and welcomed us into a fully prepped kitchen. Chef Rose got to work, putting us to work. It was AMAZING. We made the most amazing meal, and we learned so much as well. My husband is a foodie and loves to cook, so I was slightly worried he would be like this is lame. NO WAY - Chef Rose and my husband chatted about olive oil and spices... Chef Rose helped guide me with tips and tricks in the kitchen. I would take several more classes and we plan to! Wall Hoop Craft class which was taught by Maddie. Maddie walked us through how to make the wall decor, as well as shared tips and tricks with preserving flowers. We took turns, cutting the supplies and picking out the dried flowers for the arrangement. Salt and Light provided light snacks and drinks which was a nice gesture. They could have offered us a replacement class or a pickup order of new fresh macaroons, but we were simply told "sorry, it happens sometimes". Everyone else has such great reviews and photos on Yelp, so I'm really sad I did not get that same experience. I totally understand that things happen, but for $79 I expected edible macaroons to take home, and instead I got hard rocks that needed to be thrown away.
