Not sure what to expect for a Chinese buffet in Arkansas. I, however, visited for dinner with a group of 9 and was seated at the habachi table so convenience wasn't in our favor. The food was nearly inedible for my taste. Fried chicken along with the fried fish, and ribs were way too rough. Almost like they've been sitting out since their lunch rush that couldn't finish the batch. I opted for items that needed to be fried to make sure I had no need to be "indisposed" but even those items were not edible. I really wanted to like this place but after one dish, I seriously couldn't even. Others noticed at my party and although I tried to play it off that I was too enamored with issues that were out of my control with work, I very much did chew and discarded food. This is a classic out dated Chinese buffet and hibachi spot. It is perfect for a quick lunch option. I was very impressed with the lunch portion size, specifically the vegetables! The food was very flavorful. I honestly did not need to use any shrimp or ginger sauce. If I ever return to Pine Bluff, I would be a repeat customer. read more

Outside of them sitting black people together in the back. It's a good selection rice and noodles are great and side meats are good but it's not a lot to choose from honestly. They were very watchful of diners to make sure they pay but it may be because it's pine bluff. Either way it ok but not worth the vibe you get when you go in . But if you need your fix and want buffet go here and enjoy. read more

This is a cheap buffet. Low quality tasteless food. I've been twice, but it's definitely not for us.

I dunno what the deal is with today. It's literally right after work when they should have fresh food but today it was horrible. Wonton filling tasted rancid and shell was stale, the fried sushi they have had to have been sitting out for a while now. My mother has to ask for fresh seafood casserole and pepper chicken. I normally go there around 11:30 am for lunch. By going at this time the buffet is hot and plentiful. I have been many times in the past and it has always been good. There are many varieties to choose from, so you have options. Most of the workers speak broken English at best. The ambience is that of a typical Chinese restaurant. The food was cold and greasy the waiter one of my guests was still drinking her soda the waitress took the glass from her hands very rude. customers not using their gloves to use on servicing spoons, I saw many customers picking their noses,s sneezing, and licking their fingers it was terrible. Terrible food. The only good thing was the coconut shrimp and salt/pepper shrimp. Other than that everything else was nasty.

The food is the absolute bare minimum but the cost is low enough ( not cheap, just low enough ) to justify eating here ( rarely ). The service is awful. Hands down the best Chinese buffet I've ever been to...period. I wasn't expecting much from a Chinese spot in Pine Bluff, but boy was I surprised! Of the hundreds of Chinese buffets that exist in Houston, this 1 location in Pine Bluff put major shame to all of them. Let me start with the shrimp.. OMG this is shrimp heaven. Very seasoned, many variety of shrimp to choose from and what's better is their version of peel and eat shrimp is peel-less. (Yep, had to invent a word for that.) So imagine all the other spots with peel and eat shrimp were they put so much seasoning on the shell and you have to peel it right off; oh no not here, they peel it before they prepare it and season it wonderfully. The place is a must try for all Chinese buffet eaters. What's more shocking is that many of the people in Pine Bluff have no idea that this place is so much better than what is offered in the rest of the country. I even heard comments on how the service is rude. Well I experience no rude service at all. They don't speak much English, but I'm not there to talk...I'm there to eat. The next morning I was leaving the hotel (which is right behind it) I saw farmers delivering goods to this spot. I mean real local farmers dressed in full farmer gear delivering fresh produce. WOW. That explains why the veggies are so very fresh and the food is so flavorful. I got full on my first plate. Proof to me that fresher is better. My biggest issue with this place is how dirty it was. The tables, chairs, floors, everything was grimy. Cleanliness is really important in a buffet style place. When I come here the workers seem clingy. They watch you while you prepare your plate. The price is OK for the buffet because you have A large assortment of food. The Hibachi is horrible!! The rice was the only thing edible. The shrimp was undercooked and there was only a couple other people at the table, so there was no rush. Not very impressed. According to yelp it had some pretty good reviews. I have had better, much better! Most foods were over cooked, shrimp was mush. Pork was dry and tough. Some items had peculiar flavor, never experienced such a flavor at Chinese restaurant before. Tasted like old seasoning or spices maybe oil. 2 stars are for staff. I have been to many Chinese restaurants in my day, but this one has what it takes to be top 5. Not too many Chinese restaurants have a full parking lot for lunch AND supper. There's a reason for this. Not only do they have many buffet lines to serve large crowds, but they also have hibachi grills for groups up to 7-8. The food was fresh and very delicious. Besides the standard Chinese chicken fare, they also have some good ole American favorites. Ribs, fish, potatoes, chicken wings, etc. had their own separate buffet line. For the price, I believe it was definitely worth it. If I ever make it back here I will make it a point to stop in here. read more

First timer. Everything was "sticky"- the table, chairs, and so I did not feel comfortable. No menu was offered so I went to the buffet. Wide selection, but the tartar sauce was off. The Food was amazing, It has a absolutely huge buffet. I went with my family for Mother's day there were 9 of us in total, It was Absolutely packed full of people there was a line outside the door. Luckily my family and I got seated within 5 minutes of parking our car's. The waitress brought us drinks of our choice immediately as we sat down. I really wish you can order online because calling the order in can be confusing. I started my order over the phone and she kept misunderstanding me so I eventually just went to the restaurant to order. If online order was available that would be more convenient for a number of people. The location is good because you can get off the highway and run right into it and grab a bite before heading home. The restaurant is always busy and it is clean. The only other thing is the buffet price changes so I usually just order from the menu. read more
