This location was extremely disappointing and not customer- friendly. While visiting Pine Bluff, my friend and I stopped here as we do every time we're in town. My friend was given the wrong order, which we did not discover until returning to our hotel. Because we were riding together, I had to drive back to the restaurant to correct their mistake, causing my food to become cold. When I asked the manager on duty if my meal could be remade due to the inconvenience, she was dismissive and refused, stating there was "nothing wrong" with my food. I requested to speak with someone above her; she took my name and number and made a call but never returned to address the issue. The lack of accountability and customer service was unacceptable. Due to this experience, I do not recommend this location. read more

Traveling to Arkansas, looked this spot up. It was ok. Customer service was lacking. The food was too greasy. Yes it's chicken & fries & a burger but we don't like to "see" the oil. I got plain wings they were fried hard as wings should be . kinda tiny though. The fries & okra were decent & my hubs said the burger was ok. I like the fish there. My husband refuses to eat here though. We ordered a large order of gizzards for him on the last visit. They were so hard and chewy he sent them straight to the trash. The seasoning is great, but those gizzards being so tough is a deal breaker for us. read more

I eat here a lot, it's the best. They serve more than just chicken. They have a variety of food you can choose from and desserts as well. (Menu pictured below) SOMETIMES the customer service sucks as far as calling your order in. They hesitate to answer the phone and sometimes they'll hang up. This was a great place to eat after a long drive. The portions are HUGE so ask for a small-trust me on this! We tried several different things:frog legs, shrimp, catfish, boneless wings and calamari. They were all delicious. The young lady behind the counter was very patient with us as we were trying to decide what we wanted and the food was delivered quickly. If you don't mind that this place is in a gas station it's a dang good place to eat!! If you do mind, get it to go. It's VERY reasonable and some of the best fish I've ever had! There menu is loaded down with many many options. It's a very surprising quality to be so cheap. Don't go in expecting them to "wait" on you like in a restaurant because they don't. The service is behind a counter but our family didn't mind at all. There is seating inside but it's limited. If we lived close I'm sure this would be a regular takeout place for us. read more

When I come home to Pine Bluff to visit, please believe that getting to Oceans is pretty much a priority, almost immediately upon my arrival. Get settled in-check. Unload bags-check. Haul ass to Oceans! In that order. Truth be told, this is some of the best catfish and chicken in Pine Bluff, period. My favorite is the fried catfish fillets. So damn good! Each and every time I get the fillets, it hits the spot and I instantly get my life. The pieces are huge! I usually get the catfish fillet dinner or the catfish fillet & shrimp dinner, which comes with fries, coleslaw and bread. All for $7.99! They have really good chicken as well. The chicken strips are always on point and the chicken wings are to die for, you hear me? I must say, Oceans disappointed me on my last couple visits though. I was fortunate enough to order twice during my stay and both times my bread was stale. Not sure what was up but it somewhat killed the vibe, just a little. Seriously, what's a good catfish dinner without super soft bread!?! I'm willing to let that one slide I guess. Not worth taking away a star, only because the bread is usually fresh. I don't know how they slipped up this particular time. This location is attached to a gas station, so it is not a stand alone restaurant. I'm not a big fan of gas station restaurants, but honey when I tell you this food is the business? You won't think twice about not coming back after one try. They do have tables on the inside if you choose to dine in. I've always ordered my food to go, as it is always more convenient and relaxing for me to get down & dirty with my fish dinner in the comfort of my own home- wait, let me rephrase that, in the comfort of my mom's home:-) There are 2 other locations in PB but this one by far is my favorite and I can always count on my food to be beyond satisfying. I usually call my order in ahead of time (shout out to my mom for keeping a to-go menu at her house) but have also walked in to order and it's usually a 10 to15 minute wait, so it's quicker to call in the order in advance. Anytime I'm in town, this a "must stop" for me! You know you're a fan of a place when you have to double back before you leave town, just to have that one last experience to hold you over until you are reunited with yet another, catfish/chicken dinner-which could be months away if you're not local. Man is this place great. Yes it is in a c-store/gas station but the fried catfish is remarkable. We also had the wings and calamari...both were very good. I highly recommend this little gem for those fried catfish aficionados or to anyone driving through Pine Bluff...you are in for a treat. Food Is great just the time it takes to order and receive food is to long. If you are not in a rush you should definitely eat here.

Was in town last for a funeral almost a year ago and to my dismay my other favorite fish hut Aisha's was closed for the night. So, after discussing it with family everyone said I should visit Oceans. Me and my brother drove to this small late night fish stand and discovered a very diverse and at times exotic menu. Yes there was your traditional fish and chicken platters, but also frog legs, sea perch, shrimp and crawfish baskets and a endless lists of other options. The portions for the prices listed was more than adequate. Me and my brother can eat our fair share of food and after taking our platters home for the evening we both were giving each other the I give up cause I can't eat anymore faces.
