After using Chef Marc's service for 6 years. The food has changed in last two weeks. It's a different chef cooking I can totally tell. Also something in the ingredients makes me allergy. The foods not bad. The issue is is that I personally have sensitivities and I was drawn to this chef because of what was being offered and it being more clean and all the great reviews. One thing I'm not OK with though because I have sensitivities and I've worked with several chefs and meal prep services is I need to know what's going into my food. He's not OK with sharing ingredients and for me that could mess up my whole system in my body, my skin and my health. He mentioned it had to do with trust. For me I do not just trust a company off the bat especially with food...I need to know what's been put in it. So this is a personal disagreement that I have with how the business is being run. His explanation is they have several chefs working and it's A smaller business and so they don't want to have to put the ingredients with all their meals as it's not a rotation of 20 recipes. I understand but at the same time if you're going to offer something of value I think it should be more complete. I respect this person wants to do business that way. I'm not gonna work with them. Maybe it'll work for you if your diet fits that and you want to take a chance. Personally I have too many sensitivities and it's not OK for me to not know what's in my food and just trust blindly. Sadly this could've been something that was changed easily but it seems to be too much of an effort so I left. On the other hand the man was kind enough to give me a partial refund so I respect that and again the food was not bad this is just my specific issue with the company and he's deciding to move forward without transparency. read more

I just completed my first week of the Keto lunch/dinner delivery. I actually started with Keto and decided half-way through to switch to Paleo. The customer service so far is excellent! Marc is very responsive and patient with any questions/requests I have. The food is fresh & delicious, delivered 3x week (Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday). So let me start with I've tried at least 10 different meal services and personal chefs. I'm uber picky and I'm sure I'm one of the most difficult customers to deal with. I have a really hard time paying money for food that I'm not happy with. I'm picky when people cook for me at my house, I'm picky at restaurants (return occasional dishes) and I'm extra picky with my meal prep services. I just don't tolerate bad or even mediocre food. Life is way too short. I utilized Marc for a few years, then I went and explored a few new services, but now I'm back to stay. Marc offers the most consistent, best tasting, and excellent variety food service I have found. Not too mention his pricing is better than my last service. Marc compared to the last service I tried is 33% LESS money for 50% MORE food. With Marc I'm getting great value and I'm not snacking after I eat his food. Best meal prep service I've ever experienced. Marc is an incredible chef, all of his meals taste amazing, made even more amazing by the fact that they're good for you and all the nutritional info one might need to track calories or macros are provided. Chef Marc's food and service are exceptional. If you want to lose weight and eat great food, I highly recommend Chef Marc. I've lost 7 lbs in 14 days, all the while eating really good tasting food. I am new to ketogenic eating, but committed to a permanent diet change for health, weight management, and increased overall energy level. I tried several meal kit companies, in which you get the ingredients delivered and you make the meal. First, I didn't really have the time to devote to cooking, and second, the meals weren't worth the trouble and saw little results in my weight loss. A friend recommended I try a meal prep instead and that's when I found Chef Marc. From our first conversation, I got the impression that he was knowledgable about nutrition and could guide me towards my goals. The first delivery included things that I've never eaten before but could tell there was a high degree of culinary expertise and I was delightfully surprised. Some of the portions seemed a bit too large, (I even called chef Marc one day because I thought he mixed me up with another client), but he assured me to eat the portion given because it was part of the plan. In the first week, I could see that I was skinnier, and waited until the end of the week to weigh myself. I was disappointed that the scale wasn't lower, but what I was really noticing was how loose all my clothes were! The second week, I dropped 7 pounds and my clothes were all hanging quite comfortably now. That was 4 months ago and I have gone down 2 dress sizes and have never had more energy. I ordered a month's worth of meals and am very dissatisfied. The caliber of food served is not in line with what is pictured on the website. The reason I was willing to spend $45 a day for this service ($1350 for the month) was because the 11 five-star reviews (which, with the exception of one, were all posted within a 13-day window) said the food was excellent. This is not my experience of it. The flavors just aren't good to me. Most of the meals are heavily seasoned with the same spice mix (chimichurri?). The meals are visually very unappealing. The weight definitely comes off. I give props for that. But the food just does not taste good or look good. Also, the cost of ingredients used does not seem in line with the price charged (for example, when shrimp is the main protein, only four are used. This is skimpy compared to another service I have used and will be returning to). I will say that I have been appreciative that Marc has been easy going about starting and stopping delivery when I've gone out of town. The guys doing delivery are very nice. I am wishing I had started with a week of service so I hadn't invested so much money, but I was enticed by the 10% discount for the 30-day program. I have learned an expensive lesson. read more
