It was our first time and we arrived 30 mins early to enjoy our bottle of wine and learn more about our evening and what to expect. Our seats and area was already ready for each group to participate. We first received some AMAZING already made bruschetta, wow we devoured it. Next we began making our Port Wine Twice Baked Sweet Potato Souffle (Sweet potato, baked with Port Wine Cheese, thyme, rosemary, and butter) delicious! Then our Big Cali Salad (Romane, Avocado, Radishes, Cucumber, and Snap peas tossed together with a Red wine Vinaigrette) so filling and refreshing! Before making our main entree we made our dessert which was Tropical Citrus Prosecco Gelato (Nectarine, Pineapple, and champagne come together to create a wonderfully bright light gelato) in order for it to be ready after our dinner. Lastly we made our entree which was the delicious Strawberry Cabernet Barbeque Chicken (Chicken Roasted with Strawberry Cabernet Barbeque sauce).. everything was so good! The atmosphere was great, we got to know the other couple as well as our chef. Chef Z took the time to explain everything to detail and answer any questions we had, while showing us the steps you can see his view on a large TV which is great so you can see what he is doing and explaining. Very fun! At the end there was so much dessert we even took some leftovers home to share with the rest of our family. I truly enjoyed the experience and food! I hate cooking and it made it very easy and entertaining. We will be back and bring my boyfriend's parents to join us next time! Thank you again Chef Z!

Taking her time to answer our questions and showing us how to prepare our dishes. What a great evening everyone had! The first item that we helped prepare was a glazed almond cake. We also prepared a pine nut couscous with dried apricots. Our side dish was marinated zucchini with an oregano and sun dried tomato vinaigrette that our group made. Our main dish was sautéed shrimp with Mediterranean spices and a garlic aioli. Great food and an excellent experience.

The store is well stocked with merchandise and if you can't find what you want, their mail order service is always available. Items are well packed, I have a fair number of plates and bowls, none has ever arrived broken. Shopping in this store is fun, especially if you like kitchen gadgets and seeing the latest items out there. If you buy something breakable, they take great care in wrapping it, so you can get it home without having issues. As a long time customer, I've always been pleased with their good service and quality products. The cooking classes that they offer look like fun and a way to increase your cooking skills! Sur La Table is a store that I can count on to have the perfect gadget or sale on pasta bowls, just when I need a few extra. The Mercato is in the best location, not only for tourists, but locals, who are lucky enough to take advantage of year around shopping . If you haven't visited the Mercato, you'll want to check it out. Sur La Table sits right on the corner surrounded by the best shopping in town.

Before cooking, Chef Alex started on the dessert chocolate molten cake with ice cream which we ate at the end of the class - it was delicious. During our class, we made a spinach salad, lobster mash, asparagus, and filet minion it was all delicious. We learned new cooking techniques which I am excited to use at home. The atmosphere was laid back, clean, organized, and welcoming. The people in our class were nice. Ingredients were already organized for us. All we had to do was cut up, season, or mix the ingredients. Chef Alex and Andreas were nice. If at any point I had any questions, Chef Alex would easily clarify any confusions. My husband and I look forward to signing up for more classes. Tip: If you are interested in taking one of Kitchen Social's cooking classes, sign up for the class you want ahead of time. Chef made sure restrictions were made and I was still able to enjoy the same meal as everyone else. The second class I took last night was awful. The chef was not prepared. I did not get the same meal as everyone else and only received carrots and mushrooms. There was no protein included in this meal and no starch. In addition he kept telling the class he had to do things special for me; so inappropriate. I doubt I can recommend this business to anyone.

It turned into the perfect date night while also being a fun outing with friends. The chef was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the class enjoyable for everyone, whether you love to cook or are just looking for a unique experience. We'll definitely be back! If you're in the area, don't miss their fresh pastries and sourdough bread on Saturdays and Sundays. Everything looks and tastes amazing! I was also excited to find out they make beautiful custom wedding cakes and cookies, and I'll definitely be ordering from them in the future. Another bonus is that there's a charming flower shop right next door, so you can pick up a beautiful bouquet along with some delicious pastries. It makes for a perfect little outing. Highly recommend Sweet Revenge for a fun date night, a girls' night out, or a memorable experience with family and friends. You won't be disappointed!

The menu and class offerings change, but the FUN level carries through. We've been twice with friends and have enjoyed our experience immensely! Greeted with appetizers to get us started, Chef quickly gets the class engaged with a short demo. Then we return to our fully equipped station to complete that step ourselves. Several chefs are available to help come around and assist when needed. By the end of the class, everyone's prepared a delicious meal and we all sit down to eat. This is a BYOB, so take a bottle of wine. They have glasses and openers and are ready to pour. Chef Lerome, executive pastry chef at the Ritz, surprised us with a decadent dessert. Even though we had more food than we could possibly eat with our meal, somehow we managed to find room for this delicious dish. You will not leave hungry. The entertainment factor at this cooking school is top notch.
