My daughter and I want to the Christmas cookie baking class on Dec 7th and it was fabulous. The classroom is situated where you can comfortably sit while watching the chef demonstrate the cooking techniques. We prepared 4 different cookies and were able to take them home to enjoy. My husband and I had a great time with Chef Alex and Andreas. We had a steak spinach dip appetizer it was delicious. Before cooking, Chef Alex started on the dessert chocolate molten cake with ice cream which we ate at the end of the class - it was delicious. During our class, we made a spinach salad, lobster mash, asparagus, and filet minion it was all delicious. We learned new cooking techniques which I am excited to use at home. The atmosphere was laid back, clean, organized, and welcoming. The people in our class were nice. Ingredients were already organized for us. All we had to do was cut up, season, or mix the ingredients. Chef Alex and Andreas were nice. If at any point I had any questions, Chef Alex would easily clarify any confusions. We were looking for something different, not the usual go out to dinner routine and we decided to try a cooking class. Wow, what a find. We chose a Saturday dinner class to avoid any team building or friend groups and it was spot on. A couple of families and the rest were couples. 18 total and you cook in pairs or by threes. It's real knife skills and real cooking but no cleanup! And portions are already measured and ready for use. We were met with an appetizer at our seat, which was good because we didn't see dinner until about 9:00 pm. I think things ran long as we were supposed to be out in 2 to 3 hours and it was closer to 3.75 hrs but all okay. It was a Saturday night, we had wine (byob) we learned great cooking skills and had take home leftovers for the next day. We were there for the beef Wellington class and it was delicious. Chef Sterling is knowledgeable, fun and approachable. Dan, his assistant was very helpful. Have already signed up for another class. read more

Best cooking class ever!!! For the price, you get so much food. They start you out with an appetizer that's already made when you arrive. Our blue cheese flat bread was delicious. Then we made our own appetizer of bacon wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates, and then we moved on to prepping the dough for fresh pasta and wrapping bacon around our stuffed chicken. And for dessert? We made bacon cannolis. Let me say it again, SO MUCH FOOD. And so delicious. It's BYOB and they provide glasses, water and lemonade. It was about three hours and it was fun! This was a gift from my in laws. We scheduled the pasta making class. When we got there we were served with a snack, which was delicious. I booked a session with my mom and I for Mother's Day and the class did not disappoint. The chef was engaging, helpful and happy to answer any questions we had. The place was clean, organized and set up to where I felt that I had my own space but could mingle with the other guests if I wanted. The pace was great, the instruction was great and for a budding chef like myself I learned a great deal about handling a knife, proper technique and general food knowledge. What an interesting experience and idea. Here are my thoughts on it-- I like the space a lot. Especially the home kitchen idea. Normally, it would be more than enough. However, our private event for work came with something like 24(?). Unfortunately there is only I believe 16 stools. So we had some members standing up in the back who eventually left early. I made sure to get a seat because I was sold on the idea. We made gnocchi, chicken skewers, a yogurt sauce, and homemade ice cream. Surprisingly my favorite, and what I think I'd like to replicate, will be the yogurt sauce. My least favorite may have been the ice cream? It was a bit plain for me but with the baklava on top, it was good. As for the experience, you're not there to cook with 5 star chefs! You're there to take a class and eat some food. My review isn't based on their chef skills, although I thought they did a fine job managing such a group. My thoughts were for $60ish dollars you get a full menu, hands on experience, and a night out? Not bad. I would say the side seating area to sit and eat could use a little more decorating. Felt like an unused Hall of some sort with tables put out last minute. My wife is interested in trying so I'll most likely be back for a follow up. :) read more

Very fun date night idea! Make sure you check out the menu options online to choose the one you like best. We lucked out and chose Beef Wellington. The chef was very informative and the beef turned out amazingly. I like the simplicity of the recipe and the fact that their kitchen is just like a residential kitchen so I felt I could recreate the recipe easily at home. The classes are BYOB which I love, so make sure to bring your favorite beverage! They provide glassware and bottle openers. The salad was pre portioned and waiting for us when we arrived. I would've preferred if they had left it undressed so you could choose the amount to add. For my taste it was overdressed and I couldn't eat most of it. The 5th star is lacking for the preprepared salad and dessert and also the ventilation issue. There are no exhaust hoods and when we cooked the meat the whole room was full of smoke. This is something that needs adjusting as it was so Smokey that people were coughing and the doors had to be opened. Our clothes really smelt like cooking oil by the end of the night, which isn't desirable. Overall we had an enjoyable time and with a few small tweaks I think this place could easily be a 5/5. read more

I was just there tonight and I'm sorry to say that I was very disappointed. The menu was supposed to be filet mignon, it was not filet mignon, it was a sirloin piece of meat which was very tough. The camaraderie and people were enjoyable, but they did not even follow the recipes that we were given when we left. Some things were overly overly laden with garlic. Second time there last night. First time made Jambalaya. Last night was Homemade Pasta. Great experience. Very hands on. You get to eat what "You and partner cook" not what someone else cooks. I've been to classes at other places where you only get to make one think on the menu with other people. This is a much better experience. The Chef (His name is Sterling Peacock) is so helpful.
