Just got food from this food truck for first time. Got the rice bowl and ask for recommendation for meat, without hesitation he said beef. So got beef rice bowl, DELICIOUS, guacamole was good too!! I lived in Austin, TX for 5 years so had a lot of good texmex, unfortunately CT doesn't have very good Mexican... but this place, it's the best Mexican I've had in CT!!! Def worth a try. Certainly a lot of both the food truck and taco rage these days. And we all benefit from the tasty offerings, everything from El Charitto to Tacos Azteca and everyplace in between. Certainly a win-win for all! And this place where I stopped for tacos upon the urging of the wife is a winner! Just my humble opinion but excellent tacos! The corn tortillas were soft and flavorful, the filling perfectly seasoned, not greasy, fresh and tasty! Been to the truck twice. Had the el pastor super nachos and so did son in law my daughter had chicken super nachos. Tonight I had el pastor burrito and they had the super nachos again. Fresh and delicious and every chip had something on it and there was extra in the container that I ate with a fork. I SO wish I could give this guy 5 stars. His food is AMAZING...and I'm a San Diegan on the eternal quest for the best Mexican food in Fairfield County. Unfortunately, (while Tony will argue this into the ground) the simple rice, bean, cheese and chicken burrito that we ordered for our 6 year old was chock full of onions and tomatoes. When I asked Tony if we could get it remade, he very firmly stated that he would not and that I had ordered it wrong. I asked him if he cared about his customers and whether we would come back or recommend him to friends. He snarkily said he has plenty of customers and doesn't need us. It was 6:30 on a beautiful Summer night. We were literally his only customers with a packed Mr Frostys and Overtons crowd nearby. I've never been so floored by a business owner in my life. Since everything is made fresh for each order, wait times can get very long, but is rather wait than get served food sitting in a steam table.
