When she returned, she asked my daughter if anyone had come to the table -- no one had. They waited another 10 minutes after that. Still, not a single employee approached them. No water, no menus, no acknowledgment -- absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, other tables were being served around them. The lack of service, the blatant disregard, and the feeling of being unwelcome can't be chalked up to a "busy shift." It felt discriminatory. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. No one should be made to feel invisible when they're simply trying to enjoy a meal. IHOP needs to address this location's standards -- or lack thereof -- immediately.
