To add insult to injury there was no condimemts no way to heat the cold nasty food and HE DID NOT CARE AT ALL. Not only did they whip up a killer meal, but they were also very accommodating and easy to talk to. She paid so much money to this guy for HALLOWEEN Themed FOOD , for a Nightmare Before Christmas Party. This guy gave her some Costco looking food and threw it in aluminum pans. No sternos no nothing Halloween. Cold food. $75 a plate and I almost puked with feathers on a piece of chicken. I couldn't help because LA to Vegas last second on a holiday does t calculate. I drive all night made it to see the jail spread he made her and had to race back to LA for Christmas morning. You should be ashamed of yourself for calling yourself a Chef. I asked a friend if she knew of any private chef recommendations and she recommended Chef Kas. I was putting together a private event and needed a private chef who could accommodate a unique strict diet (Of one of the attendees) without compromising the taste. Everything exceeded my expectations. Chef was very easy to work with and had a ton of menu options. He was open to ideas when I suggested them but also guided me through the menu selection as it was overwhelming with the amount of options. He was very easy and friendly to communicate with - Invoicing and payment was very straight forward and simple. I have high expectations on presentation and he knocked it out of the park. His team was friendly, professional, and fantastic to work with. They setup and cleaned everything afterward. We trusted them in the home without any supervision while they were setting up. The food was fantastic. I was lucky enough to be treated to Chef Kas' meals for a whole week by a gracious friend while my family was very sick. The food was amazing and we were so spoiled by the end of the week that it was hard to go back to the old PBJ lunches and frozen dinners. I particularly enjoyed the kale salad - much to my surprise! One of my companies utilized Chef Kas for a high-end Broker's Open at a flagship $38M property. This event was extremely important to me and all aspects had to be 100% perfect. After reaching out to several chefs, we selected Chef Kas because his young enthusiasm was infectious, and we felt it would be a good fit for the high stakes of the event. My only small panic attack came at the very beginning when he was a bit tardy due to traffic. However, his phone communication was excellent and although I didn't feel fully comfortable until he and his team arrived and began working, (yes, it's my type-A personality) he did do his best to put me at ease until arrival. I return to LV frequently, and always contact CK before I do to have some meals prepared. I was with him when he was starting up. At this time he was handling everything himself. I was impressed with his dedication to starting his business, and producing a top level product and service. He would personally deliver meals to my house. I always enjoyed these stops, not only because it meant my fridge would be stocked, but because it was refreshing to talk for a few minutes with a person is so passionate about what they do. CK simply loves the culinary art. He also happens to have developed an incredible skill set. I was amazed by how many new dishes and combinations he could arrange. He excels at everything from traditional recipes to exotic foreign dishes. He truly has a wide-ranging talent for preparing all sorts of dishes. Chef Kas made hors d'oeuvres for my guests right out of my own kitchen. It was perfect for our event as our guests needed finger foods they could walk around with so they could mingle while listening to the music or bidding at the Silent Auction. He made it fun as he kept preparing a different treat every twenty minutes or so. It was fun to watch him in action preparing treats like pasty shells with a sweet potato filling, buffalo mozzarella and tomato skewers and stuffed peppers. 5 stars for Chef Kas and his team! I had the responsibility of coordinating a business dinner for 11 people at a home in Summerlin. After doing some research online, I discovered Chef Kas' website. I was intrigued and decided to contact him via email. I immediately received a phone call from him and he connected me with Jennifer from his team. Jennifer provided some sample menus, answered all of my questions and took care of our requests for dinnerware, etc. The full course meal was simply fantastic; from the hors d'oeuvres to the dessert! My personal favorites were the Pineapple Goat Cheese Red Cabbage Spring Rolls and the Sweet and Savory Short Ribs. We enjoyed trying to guess the ingredients in his dishes. They were so full of flavor, we wanted his secrets! Chef Kas was very proud of his dishes, served them with a smile and even cleaned the kitchen after he was done! One other person assisted that evening and she makes great desserts. I should also mention, while planning for this dinner, we asked Chef Kas if he was available the night before to prepare a special birthday dinner. Chef Kas catered where I work for three lunches. The first was Chicken & Beef Brisket Sliders, baked beans with Potato Salad. I was ok with the potato salad. The rest was pretty dry. That's what the potato salad helped with. The second day was fried catfish, some kind of cheese and macaroni, I think, not so much on the cheese side, and some, what we think, were crab cakes.....and sour cream. I'm not sure how the sour cream fit into this, but, it made for an evening where I regretted having an anus. It was the elevator in the Shining. Day three, I have no idea. We learned our lesson. We went out to eat. In any case, the Chicken Shack on Sunset near Green Valley is awesome. Chef Kas catered lunch to our workplace on 8/2/2014. The meal was shredded chicken and beef sliders that were garnished with purple cabbage and... cranberries?! Who does that?! It was overly sweet, cold, and the chicken was as dry as the Atacama had it taken human form and opted to take its first worldly venture in mortal form to Denver, Co. during the week of legalization. To accompany these Thanksgiving sandpaper sliders, potato salad and beans were provided. The potato salad, to be fair, was potato salad. No frills about it, nothing too nasty to report there (although it was definitely not $50k potato salad!). The beans... someone had to tell me that they were beans and even then I didn't believe them until I hesitantly put a forkfull into my mouth. They were undercooked while simultaneously mushy. Taco Bell at 10 minutes before closing on a Saturday night when their air conditioning has blown out and the heating lamps have gone into overdrive has better beans than that. Chef Kas was scheduled to cater the following Wednesday and Thursday. I, like the intelligent homosapien that I am, opted to go to Chipotle instead. read more

Chef Kas is by far the best personal chef I've ever had. I had almost given up after 3 previous chefs failed to deliver, but I gave Chef Kas a try and was blown away. Extremely unique, tasty, and insightful dishes were the norm. I used the word insightful deliberately, because Chef Kas was able to create a unique menu of ever-changing dishes that were fantastic without me ever having to specify what to cook. We couldn't decide what restaurant to go to for our 21st wedding anniversary and suddenly realized that the best atmosphere is right in our own backyard where we have a covered patio with lights, speakers and table.
