Took my son here for dinner. Made reservations online and it was pretty easy to snag a table. We arrived and were treated promptly. The interior is beautiful and clean. The light is low and very intimate and the music was good. We order the beef tartare, wagyu gyoza, and Brussels sprouts to start. All were really tasty and we enjoyed them all. My son said it was the best gyoza he's ever eaten. For the next round we ordered the crispy rice with salmon, the soft shell crab roll and some assorted nigiri. We enjoyed those. All were very tasty. We would order every thing again except the crispy rice. The texture and flavor just weren't there for this dish. I thought it was too sweet. Overall, we had a great meal. We'll definitely be back

So....uh..... this is the best sushi I've ever had. Normally I'd write a longer review but simply but this sushi is really, really amazing. Every piece of sushi I had put in my mouth tasted like it was carefully prepared, particularly the quality of the ingredients. Each piece of fish tasted like it just came out the sea, every bite of rice had the perfect resistance and amount of vinegar. If you normally go to places like Sapporo sushi or ayce sushi you end up thinking paying anything more than $30-40 a person is enough and sushi doesn't get much better than that. You would think $80 is kind of steep if you're used to regular sushi spots in vegas, but if you want a delicious experience that can make you breathless for a second, come to Doanburi. Well it does. Come order the treasure box and let your tongue thank you later. I'm going to be back very soon to try more of the menu and think about the prices later.

Doanburi challenges my palette for Japanese food: what I thought was "great sushi" has now been elevated to a new level! The service was also impeccable! Rarely do I find a place that carefully checks on our table with professionalism (ie, so they're not creepy but they always know when your plate needs to be removed, your glass is nearing the bottom, or you may need something). This must be what Kings and Queens feel like. Doanburi makes patrons feel like that when they dine here! The sushi was divine... like truly Heavenly. Like I thought I died. Do I sound dramatic? Haha, maybe, but I don't know how else to say it! I can tell each item was made with THE utmost care, and each bite was sophisticated and layered with textures and flavors. Every bite was so special. Doanburi is up there as one of my favorite restaurants...ever.

Finally got to dine in at Doanburi after previously only ordering takeout. The restaurant is nice and modern, and the service was good. Loved everything--the cucumber salad with yuzu was so refreshing, the sea bass butter lettuce wrap was super buttery, and the scallop & salmon roll and surf & turf roll were both great. Dessert was delicious too--the strawberry shortcake was tasty, though the cake itself was a little on the firmer side. It's a bit pricey, but the fish is mostly imported from Japan and worth it. Definitely coming back!

Hands down the best sushi in vegas! Walking in I can smell a light incense preparing my senses for the upcoming meal. Even prices are comparable to strip places, every dish is thoughtfully designed with uniqueness. Even simple tomago has dashi and hint of sweetness. Chef Jae intentionally sources everything from Japan. King salmon is from New Zealand and it shows both in quality and taste.

What an experience! Chef Jae is truly a master at her craft. Words can't fully describe how enjoyable this meal was. From start to finish, the service was top tier, an all around amazing experience. Each server took the time to describe every dish in detail, which made the meal feel thoughtful and elevated. We found Doanburi on TikTok and decided to try it on a Sunday afternoon, and we're so glad we did. The quality and flavor of everything were outstanding, with each dish clearly curated with love and passion. We ordered the sashimi salad, cucumber salad, edamame, wagyu dumplings, Summertime roll, kimchi crab roll, scallop and salmon roll, and how could I forget, the sea bass butter lettuce wraps. For dessert, we had the strawberry cake, and wow... the perfect balance of sweet without being overwhelming. When I say everything was incredible and I can't choose a favorite, I truly mean it. The interior decor is clean, upscale, and classic. You can tell a lot of thought and intention went into every detail of this establishment. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they receive a Michelin star. To top it all off, the chef even came out, served a dish, and engaged with us personally, such a special touch. The passion, service, food, and atmosphere will absolutely keep us coming back. Wishing Doanburi nothing but success with this incredible new restaurant.

My wife and I were very excited to try this new spot for her birthday! Luckily when we came it was a week day night and not super busy. For starters the ambiance was very relaxing, and welcoming. We were immediately welcomed in and seated right away by our server Robin. We started with the Beef Tartare and Tuna crispy rice. First off the freshness of the beef tartare and the tuna right off the bat was phenomenal. You can tell they use fresh and quality ingredients. We ate so many different nigiri pieces as well as a few rolls. This was easily the best rainbow roll I've ever had. The fish on it was top tier. Everything came out in a timely manner they didn't have us waiting around too long and all the dishes were spaced out perfectly so we could enjoy the flavors and then clean our pallets. Highly recommend this spot! We will be coming back

My husband and I love sushi, so for my birthday he decided to take me to a new restaurant he discovered on instagram that just opened by a renowned chef. We were greeted pleasantly upon coming in and were seated quickly after confirming our reservation. First impressions: the restaurant is beautiful inside! I'm a bit of an aesthetics snob and didn't expect it to look so pretty inside. We had been eyeing the menu ahead of time so we already knew what we wanted to order. Every dish was packed with flavor. Sometimes sushi tends to be either good or bad if you eat it often enough, but I will say that not very often does it make me go wow! But wow! You can taste how buttery and fresh the fish is here. Absolutely wonderful. Our waitress, Robin, was so sweet and attentive. She made our experience a memorable one! The entire staff was pleasant. Halfway through our dinner I kinda wish we sat at the bar so we could see the magic We ordered: Wagyu beef tartare Crispy rice with tuna Summertime roll Beyond the rainbow roll 10 pieces of nigiri Doesn't sound like much, but we were full. Had we had more room we would have ordered more! If I were to come back (no doubt) I would definitely try the treasure box! I really wish we did. 10/10 highly recommend. Wishing the best for chef and entire team!

Congrats on opening a brick and mortar, Doanburi! It was awesome to experience dining in on their first day open :) The restaurant is so spacious and beautiful. They have plenty of tables and bar seating available. We came for a 3pm reservation and here's what we ordered and what we thought! Jewelry Box: SO good!! Every piece of nigiri was so flavorful and fresh. Everything about each nigiri was perfect, chef Jae definitely picks a great cut of fish. I loved the wakamomo that came with as well, so addicting. Wagyu beef tartare: Personally, I would skip this next time. Could not really taste the wagyu at all. The peaches added a nice texture to the dish though, and I did enjoy the nori chips. Shiromi carpaccio: SO good!!!! The yuzu vinaigrette made the greens so delightful, and paired excellently with the fish. Sea bass butter lettuce wraps: SO good as well. I could've ordered this twice. The sea bass has such great flavor in this dish. Crispy rice w/ salmon: These were good, pretty standard as far as crispy rice goes. The other two apps above were my favorites for sure. Supreme Tiger roll: So happy we chose this roll! Super simple but tasty and refreshing, definitely one of my favorite rolls that I have had ever. If you're looking for high quality sushi, whether you live in the area or have to drive 30-40 minutes to get here. Doanburi is 100% worth it. Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of their menu!!

Finally made it to Doanburi this evening! It was quality sushi and solid appetizers. Chef Jae delivered in all aspects of the experience. Service was on point. The Wagyu Tartare is a must try! Already planning to go back a few times before word gets out. This kind of spot doesn't stay quiet for long.

Fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth it. The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. The standout for me was the seabass lettuce butter cup, light, buttery, and packed with flavor. Definitely a dish I'd come back for! Service on point and the atmosphere felted comfortable but leveled up. Great date spot!

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. You don't need to go to the Strip for Ari yeah!…read more Ari Sushi & Izakaya is a very well-Yelped restaurant in the southwest. I've particularly seen buddies post about it on Instagram a lot, and I finally made my way out there since I found that it aligned with my mom's food craving. I went for the Ari Ari Combo ($29.00). It started with a little bowl of balanced miso soup and a tiny side salad with fresh greens and a simple sesame dressing, and was followed by six thin but delicious sashimi slices and four basic but also solid-quality nigiri. I would be more than happy to come back try to more of their raw fish any time. If that doesn't sound like enough for lunch, I did share other food items. The Garlic Edamame ($7.00) felt a little less salted than I expected but was a good portion and had plenty of both a garlic sauce and crispy garlic slivers. I also helped out with a Bento with 3 items ($25.00): bulgogi, mixed tempura, and spicy tuna roll. The bulgogi was tender but not strongly marinated enough and the spicy tuna roll felt pretty standard, but I did really enjoy the shrimp tempura and the veggie tempura pieces which I tried. They were super hot and crispy while being cooked perfectly inside, and the sauce was perfect. The music was relaxing and not played at a very high volume. The restaurant is a little more dim than I'd like and could benefit from overhead narrow-angle lights, but maybe the food was just that good that the lighting wasn't so important. The server was happy to refill my complimentary water with lemon as often as needed, as well as to add more water to the Hot Green Tea ($4.00). I did try some of the tea, and it was potent and low in bitterness. I'm pleased to report that Ari Sushi really does offer delicious sushi, enough so that I'll probably have to make more trips from Henderson to try more of their menu. If you want high quality mid-price-range sushi that's not in an all you can eat format, this is a great place to look.

i was about to hit another noodle then i decided to drive along spring mountain and randomly go…read moreinto a strip mall and pick one... i chose this place as I wanted to eat some rice and check out a sushi boat place after watching daesung (big bang) ate at one of these in japan. well, this was totally different from japan one i saw on youtube. first thing i notice is that this place was packed. 2nd thing i notice is that alot of the tables are all eating noodles... that was intriguing... examining the menu, the ramens are 7 buck.. and the sushi rolls are 10 bucks... watching all the nigiri on the conveyor, i notice there isnt any premium stuff. it was all one price... no toro, no wagyu beef. no uni.... i was thinking if i want nigiri, i should not be here since I can get ayce for like $30 bucks and eat better stuff so i pick a ramen, a roll, one salmon belly nigiri, and a beer... i like the ramen, its kid size... essentially like a cup a noodle.. very good though. the roll was good, a little bit skinnier than typical. still good... i had to get one nigiri from the conveyor, the salmon belly was the best one, 3.50 cheap... the draft beer i actually down it quick.. it was nice on a hot day in vegas... total was 31 with tip.... i think if i didnt do beer, it be like 23 + tip which is same cost as going to a ramen place... funny, im trying to optimize the food cost.. just that there is so many ayce sushi spots like literally every block on spring mountain... just make no sense to do nigiri here... unless u only eat like 3-5 plates... if u going more, forget about it, do the ayce...

We got there from out of town on week trip to Vegas. They offer a happy hour that begins at 9 pm…read morewith half price, sushi and drinks. But if you're already there before 9:00p, you do not qualify for the happy hour. Perhaps the stupidest business model I've ever heard of. All it does is leave the people they got there before nine feeling angry. To add in insult to injury, when I asked about it, the hostess got pretty defensive. This tells me that I wasn't the first person to ask about it. In any case, we won't be going back, and unless you get on their mysterious waitlist for the happy hour, you're out of luck.
