Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with my lash extension appointment. The removal process was painful -- the glue burned my eyes, and at one point, my eyelids were stuck together. You could still see visible glue on top afterward. I don't believe all the old lashes were properly removed. Technician kept saying "Oh no". Instead of using proper tools or remover, the technician kept using scissors to cut off the old lashes, which felt unsafe. After getting the new set, many lashes started falling out the very next day. Overall, I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed, and I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience. read more

No special occasion just because I want to feel beautiful and curious about this place. I've been trying to get an appointment for the eyelash extensions and finally today is the day! My appointment is at 3:15PM and it is on raining day. Must be my lucky day? :) As I walk in the store a warm welcoming from the receptionist who greeted me with a smile. She asked if I was a regular client or new. I said it is my first time here. She asked me to sign in and if is ok to take my before look photo. Of course I said yes! Then a lady came up to me and introduced her name is Chelsea. Right from the look I knew it was her, the owner! She smile and we walked into a room. I told her that I am here for the full set of hybrid eyelash extensions.We talk and laugh! She is very friendly and professional. I asked how long she in this business and she said 9 years.. wow! I could tell that she is passionate and love to make her clients feel beautiful. I know for sure I do! My lashes feel so light and full. I don't feel any irritations or pain. My before and after look photos with the lashes made a huge difference! My eyes look bigger and lashes stand out. I love them! I just happened to notice Chelsea's Lash salon when I was picking something up for lunch a few doors down. I had actually been thinking of getting laah extensions again because I was fed up with strip lashes. I used to have extensions but I stopped 1. because it was starting to get expensive since I was going to a place that required their customers to have a monthly membership 2. Covid put a halt any type of close contact services - so I ended up cancelling my membership. So during Covid, I played around with magnetic lashes and glue on - both were a hassle. So I was ready for extensions!!. So thrilled that I found Chelsea!! She knew exactly what style lash would be good for my eye shape - and she was right on!! I got a lash lift and eyebrow wax. The lash lift was disappointing. I have short, thin lashes (just like any other Asian woman) but they're not supposed to look like this after a lash lift. I used to get my lash lifts done in San Diego before I moved here and my old lash tech did a great job - my lashes were curled and stayed curled for 6 weeks. That didn't happen here. The top pic was taken same day right after my appointment and the bottom pic was taken 1 week after. You can see my lashes are barely curled, and only 1 week later my lashes are already drooping and uncurling. Lash lifts are supposed to last 4-8 weeks. She did a great job with my eyebrow wax, but when I left the salon there were pieces of wax still stuck on my face that I didn't see until later. I'm disappointed that I spent $70 for this. Unfortunately will have to keep looking for a new lash lift tech in OC. read more

I have extremely sensitive eyes and she knew exactly what to do to make sure I could still wear lashes without the pain or itchiness. The adhesive is very important when working with sensitive eyes and she also has a special itch cream. She is truly a miracle worker! I recently did the hybrid microblading on my brows and they turned out great. She is always so helpful and available. She is reasonably priced too. She does full permanent makeup which I'm going to try permanent eyeliner and lip color next. I'm trying to go as low maintenance as possible. I highly recommend her services. I worked with Nhut Vo on a tattoo idea I wanted in honor of my father who passed earlier this year. I was likely not the easiest person to work with, but he was patient and kind to me as we worked through the planning and scheduling process. He was professional and his art is amazing. I've been contemplating whether I should write this review or not because I really don't like doing that to businesses and it seems like chels does a great job from the reviews, that's why I chose to come here in the first place. I just want to make sure nobody else has the same experience I had. I made an appointment thinking it would be with her since every review was for her but when I got there it was a guy. My gut told me not to go through with it but I ignored that and got them done anyways. Everything seemed okay and they even looked good when he finished despite not being the shape that I had asked for. I was happy with them for a couple weeks but then they started hurting pretty bad, feeling sharp when I would blink like it was stabbing. This was my first experience with lash extensions but I still knew this wasn't right. I went into another lash place today to get them fixed and she said it's one of the worst jobs she's ever seen, it took over an hour to get them off and my natural lashes are completely ruined, almost all the way gone. My eyelid is swollen and cut up because he glued them on too many lashes instead of individually so as they were growing they were ripping my natural lashes out. I'm not saying don't go to chels because I don't have any experience with her but please be weary of letting the man there do it, it doesn't seem like he's certified. I definitely should've been more careful considering it's my eyes that I use to see. read more
