From there, until I got to the salon, Presley was so nice, helpful, and made everything in her power to make sure I had the best experience. Esthetician: The service I requested was waxing. Jenna was so nice, very professional, has an entertaining and pleasant conversation, her vibe makes you feel comfortable. Price: Fair. They have specials, promotions, and memberships available too. Not only was the wax appointment at minimal pain threshold (yes, really!), she really took the time to walk me through both pre- and post-wax care (as I had a ton of questions) . Safe to say I won't be getting waxed anywhere else. For the past few years I've been going to Ulta to get my eyebrows shaped and waxed - lame, I know. Why give your money to a huge corporation when you can support a local business? Plus, The Waxing Room's prices are more affordable and they actually specialize in the art of wax. Obviously a rookie mistake on my end. I booked an appointment to get my eyebrows shaped/waxed by Erin this past February. Erin was originally wary of the treatment since I had been using retinol a few weeks prior. She was able to educate me and safely shaped my eyebrows with scissors and some plucking. I really appreciate her ability to make me feel comfortable, while also providing stellar service. In under 20 minutes my eyebrows were completely transformed. They have never looked better and Erin did it all with a pair of tweezers. This spot is tucked away and easy to miss, but I highly recommend putting it on your radar. read more

I had Samantha and loved her! She was very educational about the growth cycle and how and why they use both hard and soft wax. I was telling her at previous salons I still had a good amount of hair left behind. She educated me that most salons use only one or the other hard or soft wax but here they use both to get everything and even use tweezers to help get the rest. i a horrific experience at The Waxing Room by Jenna. I went in for a Brazilian wax just 24 hours before leaving for my 20th-anniversary trip with my husband, and instead of receiving a professional service, I was left with burned and torn skin from front to back. The damage was so severe that I couldn't go in the pool or ocean for a week, wear certain clothing, or even be intimate with my husband--completely altering the anniversary trip we had planned for over a year. They told me to go to the ER, but with only a day before my trip, that wasn't an option. A huge mistake on my part- I should have gone. The kicker is and what I didn't expect was the owner's reaction afterward. Rather than making things right, she chose to defend the employee who burned me and then barred ME from returning. It's worth noting that this wasn't the first issue I had with them. Every time I went in, they struggled to find my prepaid packages because I didn't visit on a strict routine, which led to repeated friction. Instead of resolving these ongoing issues or handling this serious injury with professionalism, they chose to ban a loyal, paying customer. If you're looking for a business that values customer care, professionalism, and accountability--this is NOT it. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere to avoid the risk of a similar experience. This is to serve as follow up to Erin's response: It's incredibly disappointing to see the owner of The Waxing Room respond with deflection, personal attacks, and outright misinformation instead of taking responsibility for a serious incident. Since Erin chose to publicly misrepresent my experience, let me clarify a few key facts: 1. I am a nurse and have extensive knowledge of numbing cream use. I have used the same product nine times at this exact location without issue. The fact that I use a topical anesthetic does not excuse poor technique or overheated wax that caused burns and skin tearing. This was a service error, not user error. 2. Blaming the customer instead of addressing the root issue is unacceptable. My use of numbing cream was never a problem until this visit. The injury I suffered was not due to the cream but to wax that was too hot--a mistake that is 100% the responsibility of the waxer. Any professional should be checking wax temperature before applying it to sensitive skin. 3. I have never "stormed out" of this business. Erin was not even present during my last visit, so any accusations about my behavior are pure speculation. If she wants to know what actually happened, she should check her own security footage rather than fabricate a story. 4. I was offered an appointment the morning I reached out (TODAY-prior to my posting in yelp) and even invited to be a model for training. That is not how a business treats a customer they claim they "barred for their own safety." Her response here directly contradicts the reality of the situation. 5. The real issue is lack of accountability. A professional business owner should acknowledge mistakes and work to prevent them in the future. Instead, Erin chose to make unprofessional, defensive, and condescending remarks in an attempt to shift blame rather than address a legitimate injury caused by her business. If you're looking for a waxing studio that takes accountability and client safety seriously, I highly recommend going elsewhere. A customer who has been loyal for two years without incident should not be publicly attacked for rightfully speaking up about a service failure. read more

It's definitely a cute little place. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of my service. It is not as painless as it seems to be marketed. I have gotten waxed before and that seems a bit more easier for me to handle then roll on wax. The strip wax method seems a bit old school especially when there's so many other wax forms around that are hygienic and more efficient. Thank you for the response. I already emailed you today with the date of service of May 20th, 2024. I was only sharing my experience with my wax specialist. I also was not in the room when she filled the wax cartridge so honestly I'm not aware if it was new, etc. I was in the waiting room when she initially cleaned up for me to get started. I had asked about the different waxes to be honest and she said the strip wax was used for larger areas like legs. What I shared was my perspective on how it went. Also, as you claim to be a professional, "why did you come back" if it was so painful in your email doesn't exactly exude professionalism. If a customer is unhappy about an issue than I would really hope you look into your practices further to make sure they're at least met with some courteous words. Thanks. read more

My very first service with her was a Brazilian and I remember my first visit being extremely professional. Erin took her time to make me feel comfortable and made the experience practically painless!! Fast forward several years and I'm so happy that her business is expanding and growing. I've even tried different services like the nose/nasal wax, and stomach wax. I even brought my boyfriend in to get his eyebrows done!! My favorite part about the waxing services is that Erin likes to go over any stray hairs and ingrown hairs at the end.
