I hired them to install a gutter on the front of my garage. I knew that they were not gutter…read morespecialists but decided to give them a try because the price was very good. Boy was that a big mistake. I should have know there was a problem before the job started. I had requested the gutter only on the front of the garage but they measured and gave an estimate for the sides as well which are gabled. I'm not sure where they thought a gutter would go on the sides. After getting a reasonable estimate for the front only I agreed to the terms. In my naivety I also agreed to plastic gutters without realizing that they would be in multiple segments which is a big problem for leaks. Tim and his partner bought the materials and worked about 8 hours on the initial install. It was not tested for leaks at the time of completion due to the drying process for the glue involved. It looked reasonably good when finished so I assumed it would also work well and not leak. I made another mistake of not testing it myself with a hose at first. I waited until it rained for the first time which was almost a month later. When the rain came it leaked pretty bad, mostly at the seams but also from behind the gutter where it meets the roof. To make it worse, it was apparently not graded correctly and the water stayed in the gutter and continued to drip for at least a day after the rain stopped. On closer inspection I noticed that there was a slight gap between the gutter and the roof. I asked Tim to come back and fix the issues and he and partner were back the next weekend. They spent a few hours working and then left before I got a chance to see what they did. They said they fixed the leaks at the seams. I tested it the next day with the hose and it still leaked just like the first time. Worse, they tried to fix the gap between the roof and the gutter with black duck tape as seen in the photo. This not only looks terrible but it did almost nothing to stop the leaking. I contacted Tim again and was told they are a small company and can't give me a time when they will come back and fix it. So eventually I contacted the original person I made the deal with and told them the work was unacceptable. They assured me they would be back to fix it. It took two weeks but they did come back. I let them know that to fix the leak behind the gutter, it needed to be tucked under the flashing or an apron needed to be installed. I showed them how this was the case on my existing gutters and they seemed to understand the issue but unfortunately did nothing to address this. The only thing they did do was to again try to fix the leaks at the seams which I found upon my testing the next day that they again failed to do. It was slightly better but the grading was still wrong because water continued to stay in the gutters after a prolonged period. At this point I again asked them to come back and fix and they told me they could come back in a couple of weeks. This vagueness is unacceptable to me. They should prioritize jobs that they have not completed yet and I considered my job incomplete. The gutter they installed is actually worse then no gutter at all since it continues to drip long after the rain has stopped. In conclusion, they don't know how to install gutters and I would not recommend them for anything that has to be functional.

It's well worth the money if you are considering replacing carpet due to stains but don't really want the price tag that comes with replacing. Scheduling was easy and it only took about 2 hours.
