My husband saw that the futon in our guest bedroom was soaked through, dripping water onto the floor after a major storm passed through. Having moved to TO recently, Yelp was my go to source for someone who could extract the water from the furniture. His technician just left - the futon is thoroughly dry and the love seat that I asked them to clean in order to meet the minimum looks brand new! AMAZING!!! Had another company cancel on me 24 hours prior so I called David and he and his team came to do the job less than 24 hours later, on a Saturday too!! Despite the last minute booking and logistics of a second floor office space, the pricing was very fair and comparable to other companies in the area. This huge office space (6,000 sq ft) was completed in a little over 5 hours. David and his crew were right on time and updated me throughout the cleaning of the progress and timeline of completion. The before and after pictures speak for themselves... they did an amazing job on traffic stains and lightened up numerous year-old coffee stains. They also cleaned a sectional and two arm chairs in that time. David was very knowledgeable about the carpet type and thus which cleaners to use for maximum efficiency. I've been using Approved Carpets for several years. They come twice a year to clean my carpets (white) and occasionally they clean the grout in my tiled areas and sometimes an outdoor rug. As a small business owner myself, I hate to leave a bad review, but I feel it's warranted. I called Approved Carpet Cleaning (because I was trying to reach the former owner of Prestige Carpet Care) to service a couch, a small bedroom, and barstools. Upon arrival, the technician took a look at the job and said (quote) "A big part of my job is setting expectations. The fabric of your couch and barstools do not clean well, but I'll do my best." And then proceeded to tell me why his cleaning would be sub par. After the service was complete, I could tell why he set such low expectations. Although the technician was at my house for numerous hours, the results of the cleaning is awful. I needed my carpets done and was looking for someone who had high reviews on Yelp. Finally I found this guy, who's name is David. He was friendly and responded to my call immediately. He gave me a quote over the phone but said that it might vary depending on the actual area of cleaning once he came to my house. I liked that answer because he was honest. The price I ended up paying was lower then he had quoted which made me happy. He and a helper did a fantastic job. My husband pointed out a area that seemed dingy and he immediately went over it again without hesitation and my husband was satisfied with that. At the end my carpet is very clean and fresh. I must point out, I lease at the present so the carpet is not that new and obviously can be replaced but David made it look great.
