Cold Spot Feeds - Cute little soft shoes for pets in various sizes

Cold Spot Feeds is a large pet store that sells all the usual items you would need for your pet and…read morewhat you find at the competitor across the street (Petco). My husband and I (and our little girl dog) were at Costco filling up gas for our car rental when we decided to make a trip to this store (although I did see this store when we first arrived in Fairbanks this past Saturday). After finding parking, we walked in (yes leashed dogs are welcomed) and were greeted by two friendly employees right away. My husband immediately saw these cute little soft dog booties (what my husband refers to as house slippers, lol) and decided to get 4 for our little girl (they range from different sizes from XXS to XXL. The XXS and XS cost $2.49 each, prior to tax). He though it would be a good idea for our little girl to wear them when he visits his mother's house with her (since my mother in law had made a comment about asking where were her shoes. My mother in law has hardwood floor and indirectly was making a comment about not wanting our little girl's paws to scratch the floor.... oh and yes our little girl wears Ruff Wear brand shoes for when we go hiking to protect her paws from rocks and jagged surfaces). What I thought was really interesting was that there is quite a selection of shoes available for dogs with different sizes and colors (although the "house slippers" only came in the color grey on our visit). There is also a large selection of different jackets, harnesses, treats, food, etc. I would say that Cold Spot Feeds seems to carry a much larger selection than most pet stores that I have shopped at (and I have shopped at a lot of them). Over 2 separate visits (we ended up visiting this store twice in one day because my husband thought it would be best to have two pairs of house slippers for our little girl... even though our little girl would rather have none, lol), we purchased 2 pairs of booties, meat sticks (that our little girl picked out herself, which I told my husband he had to pay for since he is making her wear these cute little house slippers against her own will) and a bag of lobster with cod treats. I really like this pet store and wished there was one like this back home. If I lived here, I would definitely be a regularly.
