I spent 11 days in the valley hospital for reverse shoulder replacement and was moved to Cheney care center and I think it was great my stay in valley hospital was horrible I was very thankful for my insurance to cover my stay at Cheney care center and the nurses and people took the very best care for me the food was very good and they worked with me doing physical therapy get me walking again I would definitely be happy to go back if I ever had surgery or needed care again karle a nurse and was the person to bring me my medicine was such a caricature and always put a smile on my face what a good guy. All the nurses treated me very good and were there in minutes after pushing the call button and would get anything I needed I can't say enough God bless the people working there they have a very hard job and I could tell they cared about what they were doing. A wonderful nursing home. The staff truly care about the residents. They have shown my mom who is a current resident the utmost compassion.

This location was my only choice when I needed to have intermediate physical rehab after a serious situation that put me in the hospital for two weeks. If I thought the food was mediocre at the hospital, Cheney Care Center outdid it that with food that was nearly inedible. I am an BSN RN with a speciality in holistic nutrition and I let them know how inferior the food was as did my sister who had to bring me food when able to help keep me going. I strongly believe and KNOW that we can't heal well when eating what was essentially garbage. I told them I was leaving and went home on my own time although barely able to walk as I was seriously worried about my healing process. Many of the care staff were helpful and nice otherwise. read more

This place is horrible! My mother was placed there and they didn't do anything for her. The patients are neglected and seem depressed. My mother hated it there. Stuff came up missing all the time. The rooms were always hot. My mother fell and resulted in her not being able to feed herself due to injuring her arm and not receiving physical therapy. After almost 2 yrs my mother was placed on comfort care and passed away within 2 days! Family wasn't notified and we're still yet to find out why she was on comfort care in the 1st place. The staff has a huge turnover rate and none of the employees ever know anything. Please find another place to send your loved ones!! read more

I would never have anyone go there, all you get are lies from staff, no one look into any complaints and things come up missing. Most of the staff are good but some you can not trust. Please stay away from here, unless you want some one unhappy all the time. I have seen so much of this place that I took my wife out and sent her to another place, just got tired of seeing her hurt and being lied to. read more
