They never showed for the appointment, never called to cancel the appointment, and never replied to the voice-mail I left after them being 20 minutes late for the appointment. No shows and no apologies. Not very caring. Sadly we are very disappointed in this company.

The first employee refused to change Dad's catheter bag, would not actually give the medication to Dad but only reminded our stepmom of his need for medicine and directed her to give it to him in applesauce. When his oxygen tube slipped out of his nose, it was brought to my stepmom's attention rather than the employee putting the tube back into his nostrils. Dad has some bed sores on his rear end, but would the employee massage some cream on the wounds....no...my sister had to do it. Family was told that if Dad fell, 911 would be called and they would not help him up. If you want to waste money, then call Comfort Keepers. We suspended service after two days.

They will promise you memory care, or a skilled nursing facility when you loved one needs it and then when you money runs out, you get a discharge notice for whatever reason they deem appropriate. It's a total bait-and-switch. Put simply, the CEO is not a nice person. It's hardly a non-profit. I have experienced 3 1/2 painful years managing my parents while they were there. The driver showed up at 12:15 to pick me up. I was naked just getting out of the shower. I went to the door with a towel around me and there stood the driver who was told to pick me up at 12:15. She seemed upset like I didn't know my pickup time was 12: 15. She called her boss and was told to leave and come back at 1:15. I was very upset and tried to proceed with my dressing. It was 1:00pm and I got up to go brush my teeth and pushed my walker outside of the kitchen because I had placed a 4 step ladder in the doorway and my right foot got caught in the leg of the ladder and I fell forward to the floor on top of my twisted right leg and ended up on the floor wondering how I was going to get up. Just then the driver was at the door and I had to slide my way to the door and pull myself up on my walker. Well, I told her to help me call the doctor to cancel my appt. and she got on the phone with her boss and the boss told her to call 911. I did not tell the boss or the driver that I wanted the assistance of 911 but they came anyway and suggested of course that they take me to the hospital. I told them I did not call them and that they should send the bill to Senior Helpers. I am 80 years of age of sound mind and I have NEVER broken a bone in my life. I had to endure their visit and the driver was OUTSIDE talking to her boss. She did not even help me call my doctor to cancel my appt. She did hand me my glasses so that I could call my doctor and cancel. I asked her to stay and help me with other things and she said she did not feel comfortable and her boss told her to leave.

The last 2 days with different caregivers went well, but by that time I was home having to leave the hospital early because of what was going on at home. I was also being called in the hospital every 5 minutes from people in this company and also by neighbors telling me what was happening. My spouse and pets were definitely traumatized by the shenanigan's in my home. I went back to the company I used before, Love In Home Senior Care, they are wonderful and bill twice monthly, not in your face when you are half dead in a hospital like an aggressive used car salesman not respecting your health and crisis. My husband was filthy and very stinky when I got home, he thought I was dead, my house was FILTHY and my dogs didn't even have water. I had to have someone come and clean the day after I got home. My list is endless... I can honestly say, 2 of the supposed caregivers and the 2 women I had to deal with did not care about us at all.
