Svetlana and her team are responsive, caring and compassionate. For them it is truly being a Loving Neighbor - not just a job. They love what they do and it shows in all the ways they have taken care of me. Last month I had an unexpected surgery scheduled and only two days to find a ride to and from the hospital with 24 hour care following release from the hospital. This forces workers to conform to erratic demands, disregarding the hardships sudden schedule changes bring to their lives. Such practices foster a toxic environment where loyalty and dedication are met with instability and exploitation, rather than respect and security. I reached out to three different people to confirm my work schedule, aiming to prevent any misunderstandings. Despite this, my schedule was repeatedly altered without my consent, with shifts being assigned to me that I hadn't agreed to. When these issues arose, instead of taking accountability, each person I communicated with turned the blame onto me, claiming I had called off on shifts I had never agreed to work in the first place. Regardless of the fact that I had messages providing sufficient proof to negate these allegations, they were blatantly ignored, and all management personnel stuck to their story. This left me feeling frustrated and unsupported, as my attempts at clear communication were disregarded, and the responsibility was unfairly placed on me. Pressuring me for money upfront when I was laying in a hospital bed with tubes and IV's everywhere was also unacceptable. When I questioned all that went on at my home (or didn't go on) the woman I spoke with had an answer/excuse for everything. She was full of BS. It was so bad with neighbors for witnesses that I am considering legal action. The last 2 days with different caregivers went well, but by that time I was home having to leave the hospital early because of what was going on at home. I was also being called in the hospital every 5 minutes from people in this company and also by neighbors telling me what was happening. My spouse and pets were definitely traumatized by the shenanigan's in my home. I went back to the company I used before, Love In Home Senior Care, they are wonderful and bill twice monthly, not in your face when you are half dead in a hospital like an aggressive used car salesman not respecting your health and crisis. My husband was filthy and very stinky when I got home, he thought I was dead, my house was FILTHY and my dogs didn't even have water. I had to have someone come and clean the day after I got home. My list is endless... I can honestly say, 2 of the supposed caregivers and the 2 women I had to deal with did not care about us at all. I could go on all day about all that went bad, however I thank 2 of the true caregivers that came through for us in the end.

After the new Branch Manager took over, I felt the branch lost its direction, professionalism, and focus on its mission. The Branch Manager hired an employee who I personally experienced bullying from. When I brought concerns to the Branch Manager about his behavior, as well as staffing, terminations, and what I believed were policy and compliance issues, I felt I was repeatedly given excuses rather than seeing the concerns addressed. She even tried turning it on me. I also contacted HR and kept them informed because I wanted to protect myself and make sure everything was documented. HR did try to help me, but ultimately their ability to resolve the situation was limited because the Branch Manager was above me in the management structure. The situation became so stressful that I was leaving work upset and crying. I ultimately had to make the decision to leave to protect myself, my professional integrity, and my well-being. I was not the only employee to leave, and I saw continued caregiver turnover and a significant reduction in hours. If you have problems with this employee, my advice is to document everything and go directly to HR. Based on my experience, going through the Branch Manager did not get me anywhere. HR did try to help, and employees should use that resource.
