The owner quoted me $75 for the job, which I reasonably assumed covered both earrings. When I returned to pick them up, I was stunned to learn the price had doubled--$150 total, apparently $75 per earring. While I acknowledge I should have requested a written estimate, the lack of transparency and sudden price hike felt misleading and unprofessional.
