Okay I'm glad we found Too Cool. I forgot some lounging pants and we visited to buy me some sweat pants or the like. Mrs. Billy D wanted a hoody too mostly because she is a Washington native and it's in her rain soaked DNA. They offer a free design they transfer onto whatever clothing you buy. I found some tie dyed sweat pants with the elastic cuffs and she got herself that hoody and opted for the transfer. I forwent the transfer because I thought having "juicy" emblazoned across my backside might not be the best thing for a straight white male. The gentleman manning the press was nice. He had a good sense of humor. I could tell he deals with picky tourists all day. He's a better man than I am. I wouldn't last 10 minutes doing what he does. The store is quite large and takes up most of a small shopping strip so there is a very large selection of tourist clothing and chotchkies to peruse. read more

Long overdue review! A friend and I visited last August for a day trip to Ocean Shores and both purchased here for our souvenir. Customer service is out of this world! Employees & Joe are very friendly, personable, and hilarious! (also patient with my indecisiveness over picking a design to go on my shirt... Huge thank you!) Selection is fantastic for both designs and apparel. This quarter-zip sweatshirt is still one of my favorites to wear around the house, to church, hiking (pretty much everywhere) - and it still looks brand new! I came into the store "Too Cool" yesterday afternoon to buy a bikini. It was ridiculously expensive ($43) but I paid for it because it was the only one I tried on that day that fit me well out of the multiple stores in Ocean Shores I went to. When I tried it on again at home, I noticed that the strap was broken. I tried to return it this morning - the bikini still had all the tags on it and I had the receipt. When I said that I was hoping to return it, without even hearing what my problem with it was, the lady that help me yesterday said that there was no returns or exchanges allowed. She failed to inform me of that yesterday when I bought the bikini. Too Cool has lost my business because 1) their bikinis are too expensive, 2) they are of poor quality, 3) poor customer service. read more

This place is awesome! We shopped here several times. They said they are under a new manager. The store was clean, the print options were numerous, and the clothing colors and options were awesome! Kids, Mens, and Womens options. Sizes include plus sizes as well. They have sweatpants, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and more. Lacy was one of the nicest people and was our main lady. I was honestly surprised to see the low reviews here - though reading through them it doesn't appear I ran into the "crazy lady"... guess we were just lucky? My husband forgot his jacket on our weekend excursion to Ocean Shores and as a result he was freezing, walking around town in a blanket to keep warm (yes, that was us). We were trying to summon the gumption for the hour long round trip drive to Wal-Mart for a sweater when we wandered in here (partially to avoid the wind, partially because the bright pretty colors caught our attention). We were greeted by a chatty older gentleman who advised us about windbreakers vs. sweaters (it was particularly windy during our stay) and then left us to our own devices - which I always appreciate, because nothing is worse than being hounded to death by salespeople. My husband eventually settled on a black windbreaker, but they had several different styles of jackets and sweaters - all for a little cheaper than the touristy shops just up the street. Several people have also mentioned the decals you can have applied as well and they're right - they take up the back wall of the register. We personally didn't opt in for this service but there are numerous choices, if that's your cup of tea. The man who checked us out was younger and had a bald head but was extremely nice, joking with us about my husband's terrible signature (no seriously, what DOES that say?) and the weather. We left and decided to walk out on the beach (now that one of us wouldn't freeze to death or blow away in the wind). About halfway through the walk he went to tighten the hood with the elastic dangly bit and one of them snapped off in his hands - boo! Back we schlepped to see if we could exchange it, since we'd literally had the jacket less than 2 hours. It was still the same young guy at the counter and he was happy to replace it for us - no big deal at all. This time, hubby tugged on the strings to make sure they were secure. ;) TL;DR: pretty good prices, fair quality products, really good customer service (if you get the young bald guy). read more

If you want Ocean Shores-specific apparel, this is definitely the place to go. While the designs aren't much different than any other little souvenir shop in the area, the piece that sets this shop apart is that everything is customizable. They have about a billion different tee-shirt colors and brands, sweatshirts, sweaters, hoodies, shorts, skirts, and swimsuits. Some pre-decaled, some just plain. What was fun was choosing a tee in the color and size and style I liked, and then customizing it with one of their fun decals (of which they have many). They will then press it on your shirt right then and there! Also, I think they have sales a lot, so you can get shirts half off, a lot of times. The people are friendly, the prices are right, and it's a good place to get little gifts for friends. I'm down. read more

Went to go buy a bathing suit since I forgot mine. 5:06pm on Friday even of Labor Day weekend and she locking the door. I asked her (must be husband or something unbeknownst to me at the time) where else I could buy one and he said another store but that they have them here if I'll just come back. When I commented on the ridiculous hours he said " eh beach time" and then the lady finished locking up and got in the car. Rude! I went into this store for the very first time recently and met the owner Joe. I asked him how he was and he was caught off guard saying he didn't expect that, (I don't think very many of the tourists are that nice). Anyways he was super nice and helpful and explained the whole process to us right when we came in. They have almost every color in shirt, sweatshirt and crew neck, even towels and a free print comes with each item you buy. They have over 200 different designs to choose from and they press the design onto your item as soon as you pay! A great overall experience, I even came back the next day to get something else haha. Joe's super great and they have pretty good prices considering Ocean Shores is somewhat of a tourist town for parts of the year, definitely recommend visiting! read more

On a recent vacation trip to Ocean Shores we stopped into this store to by custom souvineer shirts. I spent well over $150 on shirts and the owner was not very pleasant (many of the shop workers in this town were unfriendly) but we bought our shirts and left. Well one of the sweatshirts we bought ripped on the pocket within an hour of wear we noticed it so we took it back to exchange it and all I got was nothing but attitude. The guy basically told me I was out to get him and his business, said it was our fault the shirt ripped and said he "knows people like me" not sure what he meant by that. He said Its people like me that run small businesses out of business? I was floored. After spending so much $ you would think he would have been I will replace this for you no problem but instead he made me feel like a horrible person who was out to get him.
